Well, my strategy made me win 4 times against duo in an rom without Hamstergeddon, only Claymore without changing my stats. You know, when reward is DC resource i always keep one extra of Each. Never Knows when we are gonna need them again. Preparation is everything.

Sorry. I don't have Any DC Class, Heromart Class or DmK. Well the only DC Class that i will ever have is ChaosWeaver when is released.

Y'all got any idea what's the best/most powerful calender class to use against the inn challenges in general? I'm thinking of getting shadow walker of time

@moe Epoch is easily the best calendar class for bosses and challenges, however it is below average in terms of general questing. If you are getting a calendar class solely to beat challenges, then go for epoch or archivist. If you want a good balance, choose shadow walker of time

Epoch is really good? Like I can use it against the dominion challenges? Never really got that vibe from testing it. Got any strategies I can use against the dominion challenges (if anyone noticed I've got a bit of a grudge against this particular challenge =) ) using epoch?

We told you before that Epoch is undoubtedly the strongest of them against challenges. The dominion challenges aren't even near the hardest ones, but Epoch can do Unraveler Ex even which I don't think any other calendar class (or any other class at all except for a couple) can, without super cheesy strategies.

It's just, as good as it is at challenges, it's that +11 at being bad at normal quests, with neither a way to do any decent damage or to protect itself at the start of a fight.

Without Frozen Claymore Ascendant is still an Option for you who have it, Get all Fire Resistance Gear, Blind Vaal and Take Him out First , oh and Bring Hero's Diet and 5 Potion from Cloak Scrap. You can use 200 Protection Dragon. And when you are going to stun Xan , switch it for Stan The Scanorb. You already know how to deal with him.

You don't use Ice Scythe Against Xan, By The simple act that he have "Ice: 200, Shrink: 100, Darkness: 200, Immobility: Scaled (62 at level 90), Stone: 100, Fire: 200" , The first thing to do in any battle is to check enemies stats before fighting. you use King Staff of Spades Insteads because he has no Water Resistance. Ice Scythe Only is worth on enemies that have 0 or are weak to ice. Use Stan The Scanorb When you are alone against Xan, So You can Stun him when he is at 3000 HP , use Soul Sync and then Soul Slice, remember , ice scythe is worthless here, if you are using BSW Show Blade of Awe. Frozen Claymore gives -100 Ice to enemy and +25 Fire Resistance to you making you only get healed. Ice scythe only gives - 30 Ice to enemy. So is a little obvious why it isn't recommended. And i Can't see how you are losing.

@Shadow: So, what strategy did you use for Ascendant then (because if BSW doesn't work this time, I'll try Ascendant for the *umpteenth* time)

The same strategy , Just use Frozen Claymore again and again, don't get mad if it don't work at first, if you die, just repeat until you activate at the first three rounds, After Vaal's Throw Transcendence skill Use Aksal's Light or Thorny Shield. Once Vaal is Down un-equip Stan The Scanorb , Requip the Frozen Claymore and use Attack until special triggers again , just switch Baltael Aventail for the The Barons Fearless Mask. Once Vaal is done and you re-activate Frozen Claymore special, Re-equip King Staff of Spades. And get Xan down To 4100 HP then use The , The Dagger, Book Chapter 1 , Equip Frozen Claymore to decrease damage this round and use The Staff , now for the final, Re-equip King Staff of Spades and use The Hammer (Stun) , The Scythe , The Wand , Ascension. i am using just 150 STR / INT the rest in LUK. Oh Tell me , If you are ascendant Why are you not using any INT?? Go retrain Your stats for 200 INT, 200 STR, and 45 LUK for this Battle. Now i see why you didn't dealed damage enough

and Xan healed himself....great. (I got him down to 3-2k and did The Dagger, Book Chapter 1: was I supposed to used FC or King Staff of Spades for that?), before he healed again.

EDIT I: got him to 1k with The Hammer, The Scythe, The Wand, & Ascension, then I died, (should've shown Blade of Awe, so that's my bad).

EDIT II: So Ascendant was a bust, and Egomaniacs on the Floor is starting to urk my nerves and I just can't be bothered. Ice Sycthe is annoying me and Ascendant is close behind. So, I'll probably just wait for Bluu to update the Inn at the Edge of Time's Guide or just say screw it and come back like MUCH, MUCH later. But honestly, thanks again for the help Shadow.

Avoiding the heal is why you stun him when he gets close to 30% HP. He will always heal back to full and give himself that super long shield if you let him have a turn while he's at 30% or less. Your damage combo for Asc is to use all 3 boosts (Hammer, Staff and Book Ch. 1) and then use Scythe > Wand, but when you use Hammer is important in this fight; you only get 3 turns to kill him after you stun him with Hammer, so you should save it until the last moment possible. If you can use The Staff before using Hammer > Book > Scythe > Wand, that's like a 20% increase to the damage you'll do compared to just Hammer > Scythe > Wand > Ascend without using the other boosts, and if you can use both boosts before Hammer so you'll still have time to use Ascend at the end, you'll be doing almost 50% more damage. It's just a game of getting him as close to 30% as possible before stunning, without taking the risk of letting him go past that.

@Plutonium when he is at 4k is when you do the dagger, and book chapter 1 and staff , before use hammer, so you will not have 20% but 50% more damage. , you will do The Hammer (extremely Necessary to stun him so he won't heal) , The Scythe, The Wand and Ascend. All that with Stan The Scanorb is enough to blast him. That is why i told you to ONCE Vaal is down , use FC Claymore special again to get 50 more turns of +25 Fire, then equip King Staff, and you will never die, he will only heal you. and have you re-trained your stats to INT too? INT is Extremely Necessary for Ascendants https://imgur.com/a/mxhmhi3
