I want to say basilisk, but that doesn't exactly fit the "twisting and uncoiling" bit......

I am back for a bit, wanting to give you at least one of the new riddles i was working on. The Riddle Master has to defend his reputation, after all.

(solved by mahas)
The first of three, but is no more.
Since he succumbed to the ore.
He clearly was evil, even before the raid.
But a lot of tuna can now be made.
We met him early, with our sight on our prey.
It sounds like the most important meal of the day
The sharp metal, it slipped his grip.
Well, now that i am done here, wont you give me a tip?

Edit: @Mahas You dont need to come up with a new solution. Blackberry was correct.
spoiler:

He was the first of 3 pirate captains we met (Rhubarb became Captain after Blackberrys defeat, the 3rd was the Maz)
After his transformation, the hero said his name sounded like breakfast cereal. And the sharp metal was a hint to his cutlass

@Gamma It was meat to be the orb. I just called it ore as a distraction. And for the sake of rhyme

Reposting an unsolved riddle:

I can't see the sky
these things are quite restraining
and by the way, this guy
is insane, but entertaining,

Well doc, you've stumped me for now. The best I've got is Blackberry, but he doesn't fit the first 2 lines. I'll be back with a better guess, though.

True Greyor, while the mythical basilisk might uncoil, DF's don't. You're on the right idea though.

Docblade, I have a question. In your riddle, your second line ends on the word ore, as in raw metal. Is that what you mean, or should it be Orb?
Also, I'm guessing Davey Jones, who we meet when dragged to the locker while fishing for lunch.

@Gammacavy

While I may have been on the right track with basilisk, that's unfortunately where the track ends for me, as the only two enemies I can recall that had stunlocks are the Basilisk, and the ursice savage. Neither of which uncoil.

@maha Cysero's Orb? Insane and entertaining fits our favorite little blacksmith =D

Anyone want guess mine?

A Hero fallen
Far from grace
Changed the tides
And sealed his fate

Huntex: No. The answer is not the "this guy" the narrator of the riddle mentions.

Your riddle is somewhat general... Seppy seems fitting, but is probably too obvious to be correct.

@mahasamatman, Is it... the Minotaur from (Mino)torture? The weird maze quest where he keeps that dude in the cage who canít reach his sword? I went and checked the Pedia entry and it kinda makes sense: This is the dude whose shackles are quite restraining and This is the weirdo whoís insane but entertaining... I hope Iím right

@maha Darn, I thought I had it lol. Let's see,
"can't see the sky'
"these things are quite restraining" .... any chance we can get another verse

Yeah, I just realized that. How about now?

A Fallen Hero
Far from grace
Changed the tides
And sealed his fate
Forbidden spells
And sorrowful eyes
Painful cries
Paid the price

another one, but very easy

Big and scary i am, but also nice.
You came here alone, so pay the price.
I will protect them when you are around
If i spit out, i change the ground.
You can say, both and neither of us is right.
But the loss of a mutual ended the fight

Correct.

Magic or not, thats what we decide.
But regardless, we let you hide.
We stand here to protect the eternal night
against fangs and claws with all our might.

@v Close, but i mean very specific ones. Its all in the riddle.

@ Shadow X : Wrong. Try thinking smaller. Its in the riddle.
@Bluu: Wrong. And far, far away.
Hint: The right answer, both persons, are human

@Gamma It's more of a metaphor for a group of events leading up to something. ^_^

@^ I think thats close enough. Correct.

I sound like i should live on the island with two town.
My name indicates some of the shady business 'round here
My occupation would make my mother frown.
But stay one or two, or you wont even come near.

This should be a tougher one

@Hunterx
Okay, if the tides are metaphors, then I don't think it's anything to to with the water elves. A fallen hero, one who isn't Seppy... Drakath was never a hero... Vaal, the Hero of Ravenloss, who doomed it and all his people?

Re-posting an unsolved one:

Referenced and seen, but never explored,
I hold a mystery in frozen waste.
In freezing cold the water poured
What lives within, as yet unstirred
we do not know. Nor ever shall
but where is it? Seen and referenced how?

I claim everyone at some point
No one can defeat me
Some come willingly other don't
Some come back
Some don't want to come back

Hopefully this is an easy one, just thought of it just before going to bed.
