quote:You can do it with just the Baltaelís Aventail, though. You donít need the Defender Gear, and Iíd already stated a good set of gear you can easily get in one of your Q&A Threads.
I will indubitably try Big and Small and the Primordials again once I have upgraded my Defender Necklace to XXXV, my Defender Ring to XXXII, and my Unity Defender to XV and have farmed a few extra defender's medals and have obtained Baltael's Visage. I think I need a break from my disappointment at these.
quote:But Both Versions of DoomKnight already have defeated Big&Small, and DoomKnight Variant Two (Regular) has already defeated Primordials. The Squirrel has like the easiest bypass to itís gimmick. You literally need Three Weapon Types to bypass itís gimmick by just checking itís stats on that turn. Itís not even hard, you just need to understand the Mechanic. Also, for the Third Life, you just need to kill it in Five Turns, or alternatively Debuff it so it doesnít throw as devastating of a nuke at you, since the nuke simply purges all buffs on you but doesnít purge debuffs on itself.
I just think Big and Small and the Primordials need a tweak. Both versions of Doom Knight (both regular and V1) should be able to defeat Big and Small (especially if they are not going to ban V1 from fighting them), both the Sentog and Dave are too powerful against both versions of Doom Knight, especially the Sentog against V1. And the squirrel in the Primordials you can't reliably get a good hit off of, as he evades 2/3 of the time. Combined with only having only two rounds to kill him before he nukes on his third life, unless you're lucky to have the Necrotic Sword of Doom's special to proc on his third life AND to hit him both times his third life, you're screwed.
quote:(A) I still fail to see why you think the rewards are not relevant anymore. Theyíre still up there among the best items in the game.
Only these two are too difficult, especially the rewards being considering, in my opinion, being no longer relevant except the baby chimera. I know others do not share my opinion, but my opinion is my own. I'm not crying or whining, I'm just rationally sharing my opinion, and giving details why I believe it to be reasonable. I agree the challenges should be, well, challenging, for the most advanced players in the game. And the rewards should be justly rewarding.
(B) If you dislike them so much... why bother with the challenge? If youíre so tired of it, you might as well just proc the Frozen Claymore on Ulthuluc and kill him because you donít seem to be willing to actually try the challenge, but you want a nerf on it for no real reason. Itís been beaten multiple times by multiple people, even by Non-DA Players, actually.
quote:Itís Caitiffís Chestplate from the Final Boss in Calamity (the one in which you fight with your corrupted dragon). Itís not grotesque, and you can simply just click on the Hide Button which is right next to the Equip Button (though itís bugged to say Show sometimes) to prevent yourself from viewing it if you donít wish to.
On a side note, I do think the helmet from Sepelchure and Caidiff needs to be redesigned. It is grotesque. Unless you can wear it without it being seen and still benefit from the stats.
Block +4, Dodge +4, Parry +4, Crit +12, Magic Def +7, Pierce Def +7, Melee Def +7, WIS +8, END +8, INT +14, DEX +14, STR +14, Bonus +10, Immobility +5, Fire +7, Darkness +15, Light +15
Distorted Doom Visage:-
Block +5, Dodge +5, Parry +5, Crit +15, Magic Def +5, Pierce Def +5, Melee Def +5, LUK +5, INT +18, DEX +18, STR +18, All +4
I mean, the Distorted Doom Visage has +1 BDP, +3 Crit, -2 MPM, -8 WIS/END and +4 STR/INT/DEX as compared to the DoomKnight helm. Both are used as Offensive Helms and clearly, the Distorted Doom Visage has better offenses than the DoomKnight helm and Bonus is largely useless anyway, at least when compared to Crit, since Crit breaks through BPD and also deals Extra Damage. Bonus is only situationally better and such situations are rare.
quote:You see, if you actually checked the Endgame Wiki, you would already have answers to every question of yours... Itís not even that hard to understand, really, I donít understand your reluctance behind it... and also, to quote Shiny:
To be honest, I'm not sure anyone's figured out the strategy for Sepulchure yet, I don't remember seeing it in the strategy guide.
There's no challenge that can't be completed as an NDC DA player.
