Yes, this thread has been locked. Read the last post to see why.

It's pretty delayed; there were other things going on. Anyway, this is what's needed.

Whenever any quest/event is mentioned for farming, one of the following must be mentioned: pros/cons of farming there with reasons; if it's good for gold/xp, or both; strategy with the title at the top indicating the build and level range(s) that the strategy covers. Each strategy must be thorough. A possible way is to create a specific guide for each monster if the quest/even is Random Adventure like or offer overall tips if all monsters are all the same element or share some other similarity. Any general tips like "Equip your best darkness armor." will be deleted. Comments and questions are NOT allowed in this thread, unless offering a fully developed alternate strategy or pros/cons. Other than that, use the commentary thread.

Like the note says, don't spam the thread with your sig...

Roughly how things will look when organized:
Quest/Event Name (alphabetical order)
Location
Pros/Cons of farming there and if it's good for gold, xp, or both
Strategies sorted by builds (standard Warrior, Ranger, Mage, Hybrid) then level ranges (sorted by build(s) then level ranges)

Quest/Event Name 2 (alphabetical order)
Location
Pros/Cons of farming there and if it's good for gold, xp, or both
Strategies sorted by builds (standard Warrior, Ranger, Mage, Hybrid) then level ranges (sorted by build(s) then level ranges)

the bridge farming place only takes 8 minutes each, giving 2250 experience and 1350 gold everytime. beat it using dragon wings, the dracomancer level 4 ability. You can get ~~ this much in this little time ~~

1 Hour ~ 7 runs, 15,750 exp
1 hour ~ 7 runs, 9,450 gold

2 Hours ~ 15 runs, 33,750 exp
2 Hours ~ 15 runs, 20,250 gold

3 Hours ~ 22 runs, 49,500 exp
3 Hours ~ 22 runs, 29,700 gold

4 hours ~ 30 runs, 67,500 exp
4 Hours ~ 30 runs, 40,500 gold

12 Hours ~ 90 runs, 202,500 exp
12 Hours ~ 90 runs, 121,500 gold

1 day ~ 180 runs, 405,000 exp
1 day ~ 180 runs, 243,000 gold

See You Later People, I have to get back to farming those stupid monkeys

here's a Leeroy vs. Vince's Gold comparison. (this is mainly for gold, not exp)

Leeroy Jenkins

Location: Vamprook Spire on the Travel Map.
There are 2 options for this quest. Either to take some potions (Leeroy1), which gives more gold and gives some potions, but it takes longer, or not to take the potions (Leeroy2).

I did Leeroy1 5 times, averaging 5 mins, 15 seconds per run, at 2250 gld per run, and 2300 exp per run.
This gives very good gold, about 25K per hour. However, it can be very boring and repetitive, because there is a LOT of dialogue, and only 3 opponents.

Then 5 times leaving the potions, averaging 3 mins, 20 seconds per run, at 1500 gold and exp per run.
This gives slightly better gold, 27K per hour. Again, though, very repetitive.

Vince's Gold *UPDATED* *AGAIN, since new access point to Isle D'Oriens* *And again, since the chest is now 1560 gold*
Location: Spoiler, but it's in the new town, and is also called "the maze".
For Vince's Gold, I averaged 1 min, 55 seconds per run. Each run gives 9001000 exp and 13001560 gld. But it runs out after 3 times. There is a way around that, but that's a spoiler. I'll say it usually takes me about 45 15 seconds to complete. So overall, for 3 runs, it's 6:00 per 3 runs. and that's for 3000 xp, 4680 gold. Perhaps the reason for the raise in farmability is so it's not impossible to get the necessary FOUR million for the ubers, rather than the previous 2 million.
This gives 39K 36K 39K 47K per hour, easily passing Leeroy as a gold source. It is also less repetitive, at least to me.

Now for the Comparison.

Leeroy1: 2250gld/315seconds=7 gold per second (close enough)
Boring repetitiveness: 7/10

Leeroy2: 1500/200=7.5 GpS
boringness: 7/10

Vince: 1560/115=11 10 11 13 gold per second (again, close enough)
Boring repetitiveness: 4/10

Thus, Vince's is better. Nearly TWICE as good as leeroy, for farmers.

1 hr per day:
Leeroy1 gives 25200 GpH
Leeroy2 gives 27000
Vince gives 46800 GpH.

So, for 3 hr per day ppl, it is Leeroy1: 75600 Leeroy2: 81000 Vince: 140400.

6 hr per day: 151200 vs 162K vs. 281K

12 hr per day: 302400 vs 324K vs. 562K

24 hrs per day: 604800 vs 648K vs 1124K.

So, with no gold caps, you could get the NmP in about 26.5 29 26.5 21.4 hours by constant Vince farming, and the entire set in 43 hours. Voila.

For a lvl 70 (105K gld per day cap), you would need to play for 10 days at 2.25 hours per day for a NmP.

A few things... don't use your sig. It obviously only serves to clutter up the thread. The format is there for a reason. Include which section(s) is/are being satisfied in the post. Remember to make things concise. There's no need to waste space on the thread with all the "Getting Nightmare Plate, the Leeroy Jenkins way:" when each section is pretty much the same. Posts that don't follow it will be deleted. Guides need to be clear.

3rd trial(3700exp/2050gold)
average(3633.33/2133.33gold)
...travel>>sail east>>the crater>>talk to manny>>Hop On>>rest is spoiler
1. The only weapon needed is Carnax Blade

2. The only armors needed are Paladin Armor and Wizard Robes. Paladin Armor for Holy Might (level 9) which should be done repeatedly. Kills most Carnax forms in one or two hits. Wizard Robes for mana morph to keep on powering the holy might machine.

3. No pets or guests. Their attacks are weak compared to the Holy Might + Carnax Blade combo (which has done up to 750 damage for me so far) and it is a waste of time waiting for their unneccesary attacks. I would say maybe FGM to keep replenishing mana but I find that it isn't really necessary. I haven't run out of mana yet but I have 170 INT.(This tid-bit given by Big Daddy)
(If I did this wrong, pm me.)

Carnax War

Updated June 20

Well known for farmability since its original introduction, it has now reappeared at a hidden location in Isle d'Oriens. It consists of 5 battles with sections of Carnax, with a full heal between battles 3 and 4. You can choose to get any of a number of guests to help you, including Artix, Galanoth, Aquella, and the Captain. One nice thing about Carnax is that each part only has to be reduced to about half of its full hit points, at which point it "gives up" and you win. This significantly cuts down on time. Another is that some parts don't attack every turn. My strategies are good for all builds, although pretty much too hard for low levels. Recommended for about levels 70+.

Encounters

You can fight high or low on his body. All parts can be found in the Encyclopedia here.

High

Here's the monsters for fights 1-5.

Head (10k hp) ~ 2600 xp, 950 gp
Head (5k hp) ~ 1200 xp, 650 gp
Head (4k hp) ~ 1200 xp, 650 gp
Head (2.5k hp) ~ 600 xp, 200 gp
Right Shoulder (2k hp) ~ 900 xp, 350 gp
Left Shoulder (2k hp) ~ 900 xp, 350 gp
Back (2.5k hp) ~ 700 xp, 300 gp
Tail (2.5k hp) ~ 700 xp, 300 gp

Low

Seems to be the same, except the first battle is against one of his limbs.

Left Arm (2k hp) ~ 700 xp, 300 gp
Right Arm (3k hp) ~ 700 xp, 250 gp
Left Leg (2k hp) ~ 700 xp, 300 gp
Right Leg (3.5k hp) ~ 900 xp, 350 gp

Rewards

Average rewards per fight:
Guardians:
Low ~ 4350 xp, 1800 gp
High ~ 4500xp, 1875 gp
X-Guardians:
Low ~ 4785 xp, 1800 gp
High ~ 4950 xp, 1875 gp

As you can see, this comes to about 4350 xp and 1800 gold per run, even for low (Nice!). So, how do you go about farming Carnax?

Strategies

Equipment

Armor: Golden Holy Armor (at least at lvl 9)
Weapon: Carnax Blade
Shield: Who cares? Maybe Nightmare, Gyrate, or another good all-round shield. That eye attack from his head can really hurt, so Starblaze is also an option (thanks, ~1337~). Since the head only attacks with magic, maybe Dreamcatcher or Spellblocker would help, as well.
Item: One of the Azru Stones (obviously), if you have one. The Amulet of Drakonnan can help some against his head.
And, if you feel you must:
Pet: Big Clone
Guest: Maybe Artix? Or Aquella? (thanks, dillan)

The Battle

Fairly straightforward: Whack him with Holy Might. This will usually kill any part of him in a few turns (excluding 10000 hp head). Holy Light is also an option, but since it's magic he can dodge it much more easily. It also does not include stat bonuses. But some people may prefer it over Holy Might for one simple reason: Holy Might takes 125 mp. If you do run out of mana (pretty unlikely unless your fighting the 10000 hp one), just attack normally. You'll still do lots of damage, and there's always the chance you'll get a random, mana-free HM.

Equipment

Armor: Obsidian Cloak (at least at lvl 9)
Weapon: See Paladin
Shield: See Paladin
Item: See Paladin
And if you want them:
Pet: Big Clone
Guest: See Paladin, or if you want to stay with a Necro theme, possibly our friend Doom Wolf.

The Battle

Again, fairly straightforward: Sic an Undead Mutant on him. This will usually kill any part of him in one or two turns (excluding 10000 hp head). This is pretty mana-intensive, but it appears to do way more damage than Holy Might. If you do run out of mana (pretty unlikely unless your fighting the 10000 hp one), just attack normally. You'll still do lots of damage, and there's always the chance you'll get a random, mana-free UM.

Startegy summary- Stick with UM unless you're fighting the 10k hp head, which has 80 to fire (The Carnax Blade's element; UM doesn't convert to another element) and 160 to light (HM conversion element).

So, now you know how to deal with the Carnax War. Happy farming!

P.S. This is a first guide, so please be nice.
P. P. S. Thorough comparisons of several strategies can be found in the Farming Guide Compilation Commentary.

The Random Footnotes Section!
  • Set your graphics on low. It speeds things up.
  • Pets and guests slow you down. Don't use them if you don't need them.
  • If you really want to farm fast, cancel the 5th fight, thereby skipping the cutscene.
  • To avoid getting bored, take breaks, listen to music (Check out Pandora), and do other stuff ( DRAGONFABLE!).

for leeroy, you can get over 25k gold in an hour, and to do it easily use ice needles. It will take off life probably down to the middle, then you can take it out with your BoA. Or use Algorstorm, whichever you have.
note: these time amounts mean NON-STOP, every run being 5 minutes.
5 minutes a run
1 hour- 27k gold, 27.6k exp
2 hours-54k gold, 55.2k exp
4 hours-108k gold (wow!), 110.4k exp
12 hours-324k gold, 331.2 exp
1 day-648k gold, 662.4 exp
1 week-4536k gold, 4636.8k exp

6 minutes a run
an edit for 6 minutes a run (me )
1 hour-22.5k gold, 23k exp
2 hours- 45k gold, 46k exp
4 hours- 90k gold, 92k exp
12 hours-270k gold, 276k exp
1 day- 540k gold, 552k exp
1 week- 3780k gold, 3864k exp

look at the bolded for 1 week 5 minutes a run and 1 week 6 minutes a run. See how much 1 minute per run change can effect??

The arrival of Necromancer class opens yet another possibility for farming: The Knight Class special mission. The downside is that you must reach Knight level 10, a daunting (yet not impossible) task for pure mages. Once you are able to embark upon this quest, you will need:

-A good Ice or Light weapon. Arkridge in its Melee form is highly recommended because it has a Melee special
-A shield with fire/darkness defenses and high Melee blocking. Monster Claw is more than enough. Shield of Rennd is also good.
-Necromancer up to level 9 (you need undead mutant)

The enemies you come across in this mission have incredible Magic defense, but undead mutant attacks with Melee and does not require any Strength, so it's excellent for mages, rogues and warriors alike. Why Necromancer? Because undead mutant is much, much better than Knight's cavalry charge. You don't need a high strength to make it effective and it deals more damage.

You'll face three level 70 Demon Knights in succession, with healing after the first and the third, and face Tyranna in the end.

You'll make 3600 exp and 1760 gold per run. There's not much clicking involved. Just use undead mutant over and over until everything is dead.

In relation to the earlier posts about the maze, i timed myself for one hour and here are the results:
1 run: 900 exp/ 1300 gold about 1.5 min per run
1 hour: 24300 exp/ 35100 gold

Pros: Once you learn the maze it is simple.
Cons: Logging in and out becomes tedious.

If you are able to go through and do it three times log out and come back, u have the ability to get 35k+.

The Uneasy Peace Between the Dragonslayers and Dracomancers Saga

This quest is available at Dragonspire after becoming a 10th level Dracomancer See the Encyclopedia for details http://forums2.battleon.com/f/tm.asp?m=3804489 The main features of the quest are 1) you fight all dragons and 2) after 8 fights you can exit or repeat.

Best for 60th level and up, but if you’re well equipped for dragon fighting you might try this at 40th level and up. The quest randomly supplies a Dragon Blade, which you should take (unless you’re convinced you have something better). This quest has a minimum of clicking, and (once you have a Dragon Blade) a minimum of weapon-switching.

I fight the dragons as a Necromancer with an Undead Mutant or Giant holding the Dragon Blade. This maximizes the effect of the Dragon Blade and speeds kills. No pet or guest needed.

One of the best features of this saga is its auto-heal and cyclic nature. This means once you’re in the cycle, you can stay as long as you like – no maximums, no leaving to get healed, not even much potions use – just xp and gp over and over. Click on Fight More Dragons after the 8th battle to repeat the cycle.

Here’s an hour’s worth of clicking. As you see, it’s best for xp, ok for gp:
52622 xp (includes X-guardian bonus; 47360 w/out that)
22390 gp

Farming Z-Tokens is really easier than it seems.
In my opinion and as it seems, z-token occurences are completely random and the amount you get at one time is based on your level(witness-stated fact) and possibly luck(educated guess).
So basically, there is no such thing as farming z-tokens, and it cant really be said.
As, if you battle level 1000 monsters over and over again in the void, just because you think you get z-tokens more often, youre wasting your time. You can get just as many z-tokens, probably faster, doing the frogzard challenge.
So saying that youre farming for z-tokens is pretty redundant, as it seems to be pretty random about how often you get them, so long as you get them every few battles and it stays that way.
As for how many you get at one time, more or less, and how often, it may be based on whether you are an x-/guardian or an adventurer. Like for example, a guardian may get a z-token occurence every 4.4 battles won, while an x-guardian gets them every 3.8 and an adventurer gets them every 5.2 battles won.
Those arent real numbers, but they may be close. Or it may be the same for all AQ players, and of course, possibly based on luck, as all guardians were given 200 tokens and x-guardians even 100 more.
Guardians and adventurers may have different percentages of z-token occurences, but it is not proven yet.

I have developed a formula which may not be entirely accurate, but allows a better look at how often you get z-tokens.
heres my formula-
Z= z-tokens earned(level/9 and random /(*1-[lvl/9]*)
X= battles won(give or take a few, 5 is my constant)
C= z-token occurence
T= time per 5 battles
(5X/C=Z)/T = rate of z-tokens

so heres my formula relating to actual data:
level 48 character
Actual statistics:
15 battles in frogzard challenge=3 z-token occurences in total time of 7:42(divide by 3, and you get about 2:37 per 5 battles) total tokens won=15, occurences of 2, 8, and 5, and one occurence per 5 battles won. average= 5 tokens per 2:37, rate of 1 token per 0:32.
how it relates to formula:
(5X/1=5)/2:37 = 1 token per 0:32
(all decimal numbers rounded down)

I will do more experiments and test with it some, but this is pretty dern accurate.
PM me your own times and occurences so i can balance this out some more.

And, also relating to this, I get just as many occurences for z-tokens when battling harder monsters, though in a slower time.
So to give the best advice for where to farm z-tokens, I think it is Frogzard Challenge or the Battle Pits.
But really, its all up to you. Go where the monsters are easy, fast, and pretty predictable and make sure they keep coming, to get the most tokens per time period.
As for those who are determined to say that fighting lvl 100 monsters give you more tokens, you are correct, but look at these statistics:
The occurence of z-tokens will be the same, and it will depend on the monster to how many you get.
so if you spend 15 minutes fighting 5 lvl 100 monsters, and get 15 z-tokens
while you can spend 5 minutes fighting 15 lvl 4 montsters and still get 15 z-tokens.
I would say do it fast and easy, because its faster and you can generally get just as many tokens.

And I might add, that these are NOT guaranteed numbers, but when it comes right down to it, you can earn just as many fighting low level monsters and spend a lot less time.

UPDATE
quote:

Captain Rhubarb
Administrator

Lots of theories going around. This is quite interesting!

One thing I want to make clear:
Adventurers, Guardians, and X-Guardians all have the same chances at finding z-tokens.

So. This means that all characters in AQ have the same chances. What does this mean? A less complicated formula, of course, and that there is yet another way for everyone to be equal without being bound to pay for it.

Quest name:
War of the Fang 3
Location:
Travel>>Darkovia Forest>>Spot three from Back to Town to Vampire Slayer "E"
Each run:
minimum 3 minutes a run (about 40 seconds clicking "More"). My average is 6-7 minutes 4 minutes.
1.600xp/per run>>32.000xp/per hour
900au/per run>>18.000au/per hour
(These stats are made to minimum time per run)

Its not recommended level 80+.

Need:
For Alpha Wolf:
Fire Lord's Axe or better
Gyrate Shield or better
For Vampire Lord:
Nova Wand or better
Night Shield or better
You may use Vampire Slayer if you arent strong enough but Vampire Slayer is slower attacking than Guardian Plate and Steel Plate, so its not as fast farming. The best armor I've used though is Werepyre Form because it always hits twice and is good to earth and darkness as they only use.

Location: Epic Quest 3

For: All adventurers at level 50-60. Technically for rangers but all builds can benefit.

Pros: (1) works for adventurers. (2) works at level 50.

Cons: probably no points for guardians or high-level adventurers.

1. Equipments:

  • Horse Rider Armour (level 15, 300 Gold, at Robina Shop) for earth resistance (-30%)
  • Wooden Shield (level 0, 50 Gold, at Yulgar's Stuff) for earth resistance (-10%)
  • Hollow's Weather Remote (HWR) (level 50, 4800 Gold)
  • Wind Orb (200 Z-tokens)
  • Truffle (level 50, 2000 gold, at Aria's Pet Shop)

2. Strategy:

  • Equip the said armour and shield beforehand.
  • Set Truffle to stay back initially.
  • Ativate Wind Orb at first turn.
  • Keep using Blizzard (ice) attack until it dies - enemy has zero chance to block.

3. To use Truffle or not:

  • If you are above level 60, you will have at least 400 HP and probably don't need it.
  • If you are below level 60 but have enough END to support 400 HP, you probably don't need it.
  • Otherwise, if enemy's HP is unusually low (like 700), you probably don't need it.
  • Otherwise, if enemy's HP exceeds 800 AND your max HP is flaky (worst case is 350 at level 50), you need Truffle.
  • So the decision is whether to use Truffle or to put points in END.

4. Other thoughts

  • NightHunter Shield could boost attack but I am not sure if it works with HWR. The pedia entry also confuses me.
  • The figure of 400 HP is based on trials using these equipments. This is a minimum - you won't die, even you would be close. As farming goes it is considered a job done. any extra HP left would be useless.
  • Wind Orb is also useful in Carnax Spawn War because all but three are earth monsters.

Crater: Harpy Queen

the harpy queen gives 1500 exp and 800 gold. im not sure if its a spoiler how to find it or not so all i will say on its location is the crater. Recommended 70+

Killing it: it has an ok light attack, but the real danger is in its 2 hit wind attack, with 100% wind it can hit about 150-200 (ouch ) so i recomend the tropos sheild as it gives good wind defense and gives a damage bonus, as for a weapon i recommend anything with out a special (unless its a really strong dark weapon and ur using big clone)
because then u wont have the porblem of wanting to use something else but instead getting the special. I recommend using the obsidian cloak and fighting anything weak first to summon the death dog then go die somewhere (i guess u could fight something hard and summon the death dog and die in the same fight) then become a lich (make sure ur ready to become a lich (charged)) then if ur not using a big clone use a strong dark pet (garlic vampire is strong and easy to get, but little death is great) or nothing at all (shes pretty tough so i recommend a pet for level 70 or lower)

Once you are in the battle with the harpy queen use terror once (or more if it doesnt freeze her or lower her defnse, but i only recommend using it more than once if u are able to take the damage rather than being healed by drain) just keep using drain (not positive if high INT affects drain's damage) untill she is dead then (unless ur still at nearly full health or thnk u can beat her again without healing) go back to town and heal and start all over.

She has high damage but has low defense so its not a long battle

Why would you want that? Gold got nerfed.
Oh, and to get there, you have to first go to Isle D' Oriens, and then ente- SPOILER

Farming Location: The Pit. (No one has mentioned it yet)

Location: SPOILER
Requirements: A fairly high level (60-70 is good for speed), Necromancer level 10, Fairy Godmother. A good Light weapon is essential.
Method:
1: Go fight Carnax (Guardian Tower). 10 charges for Lich should be easy. Prepare Fairy Godmother and (optional) Daimyo.
2: Become a Lich, and go to the Pit.
3: Fight away. 55% Darkness + good light weapon with Undead Assault allows you to ravage at least the first 30 battles. Fairy Godmother and Drain is useful for restoring health.

Pros: Good exp, and even treasure chests!
Cons: Getting to the good exp monsters takes a while. Dracolich Rider, Undead Dragon is also annoying.

Location II: Knight Class levels 1-10.

Requirements: Fighter Level 5, a good wind weapon.
Location: Blackehawke in Yulgar's Inn.
Knights offer good exp. A strong wind weapon is recommended. Gyrate shield is also effective.

Pros: Nice exp, and new abilities.
Cons: Stat rolls are kinda annoying, plus level 10 Knights can't use this.

Zorbak's Hideout:

Location: Travel Map > Zorbak's Hideout > Zorbak vs Twilly
Rewards: 4200 exp, 1550 gold.
Monsters:
Drakath, Undead Dragon
Calladus, Dragon Master

Individual Rewards:
Drakath: 2100 exp, 800 gold
Calladus: 2100 exp, 750 gold

Equipment:

Weapon: Dragon Blade (#1), Orc Cleaver (#2), any other light or earth weapon.
Armor: Lvl9+ Golden Holy Armor, and/or Lvl9+ Obsidian Cloak, Lich
Shield: Demonbreaker, Night Shield.
Spells: Not needed, but can use Star Forge when necessary. Heal wounds can be used if almost dead.
Pets: FGM, Flogg, Daimyo (all optional)
Guests: Daimyo (optional)

Note: Get dragon blade from Uneasy Peace quest, in Dragonspine.

Strategy:
Equip your armor, shield, pets and guests (if any), and weapons beforehand. Click through the dialogue. To fight Drakath, just pound away with Dragon Blade (or your other weapon) and Undead Mutant/Undead Assault/Holy Might until he's dead. Repeat process on Calladus. Use Heal Wounds in emergencies. If you run out of mana, the use regular attack and hope for the best. I find Holy Might to be more of a gamble, as it does about 80-550 dmg on Calladus, compared to around 180-350 for Undead Mutant.

Edit: I just finished a run in 3 mins 20 secs. That's about 18 times per hour.
So.... Hourly rewards would be about 75,600 exp and 27,990 gold. Pretty good.

Shoot Carnax is good for gold, and is even better because you can do it at any level (as a Guardian) and get the same rewards!

Location: Carnax Time Scroll
Equipment: N/A
Strategy: Click on the parts of Carnax when they light up, trying to get as many hits as possible.

Reward: >30 hits = Huge Treasure Chest (100 exp, 650 gold)
<30 hits = Big Treasure Chest (50 exp, 425 gold)

Time: 140 seconds

Hourly rewards: ~ 16,700 gold and 2,500 exp for >30, <30 is ~ 11,000 gold and 1300 exp. Not bad considering a lvl1 Guardian could farm this with no possibility of death.

The paladin special mission is a nice way to earn money quickly. It only takes one or two minutes to complete and there is not alot of dialoge involved.Barely four bubbles throughout the entire special mission. The best thing is you get an auto heal when you enter the paladin training location so you don't have to click Artix, then go fight.
Weapons:One of the dualight sword for its healing special.(Recomended but not needed.)
Shields:Anything that can protect against darkness, like paladin shield.(Shields are not needed.)
Armor:(Golden)Holy Armor for its darkness protection.
Spells:None, just need lvl 7 ability Holy Light.(Though you will have all of the skills to do the special mission.)
Pets/Guests:Any pet that can hit for light.Clones are recomended. For the guest,Daimyo will do.
The quest:All you need to do is first fight two undead monsters, beat them away with Holy Light which will trigger on any monster there. Then,at Sylith, keep using Holy Light to do a two hit mega damage. If you need to heal, either drink health potions or use Heal Wounds if you have it.Finaly, watch the lich dissapear into nothing-ness so its soul may rest in peice(s).
Final:by killing the lich and two undead, you will get quite a nice amount of Gold and Experiance. For killing Sylith, you get:
500 EXP and 450 Gold for level 49's and under,800/1500 EXP and 650/900 Gold for level 50's and up.For killing the undead minions, you don't get alot even though it adds up.(Sorry,i'm too lazy to check all the undead.)The bad thing is,the first one is dead correct, the second and third are if you are really lucky.Farm On!
~1 hour EXP:15000/24000/45000
~1 hour Gold:13500/19500/27000

~3 hour EXP:45000/72000/135000
~3 hour Gold:40500/58500/81000

~6 hour EXP:90000/144000/270000
~6 hour Gold:81000/117000/162000

~12 hour EXP:180000/288000/540000
~12 hour Gold:162000/234000/324000

~1 day EXP:360000/576000/1080000
~1 day Gold:324000/468000/648000

This thread is NEVER to be used for Q/A, debating, or any other such spam. Read the first post, if you don't know what belongs here. Failure to follow these rules will result in a lock of both farming threads, basically banning quick farming posts like these.

Unless you've farmed an area for literally one day, don't include the numbers, since multiplying it isn't accurate at all. List out what you got from each of your runs. If you want to include rough estimates, indicate that. Base the best farming area on actual runs, not estimates.

Carnax War (with a little extra information)

Location: Isle of D'Oriens
Pros: (Using Carnax Blade) it is good quick ways to get a quick victory and get exp/gold in less than a minute (usually)
Cons: Rather hard for lower levels and those not using Carnax Blade
Good for gold and exp
Exp: average 5,000exp (or 5,500exp for X-Guardians) or 82,500exp an hour
Gold: average 2,500gold or 37,500gold an hour
Time: approximately 3-4 minutes per trip (or approximately 15-20 trips an hour)
Minimum exp and gold per trip: 3,600exp (or 3,960exp for X-Guardians) and 1,450gold
Maximum exp and gold per trip: 11,600exp (or 12,760exp for X-Guardians) and 4,450gold

Methods

Necromancer Method
Necromancer delivers slightly swifter damage than Lich mode but at the cost of the use of more MP, so if you don't have a lot of MP, use the Lich method
As a Necromancer, HP is more at risk when fighting "10k HP heads", especially consecutively because they tend to do most damage of all the parts, as well as MP because one can run out out MP when fighting just one of these
Use Undead Mutant on the legs, shoulders, and tail
If pacing on MP, use Skull Swarm on the heads and the back
If you really need to, drink a pot or use Zombie Hands to heal HP

Lich Method
Lich mode helps for it delivers nice damage without the use of so much MP
Use Drain on the heads and the back
Use Undead Assault on the legs, shoulders, and tail
When running low on HP, use Drain

Other Tips
Carnax Blade significantly helps, usually if you attack them right you should get a victory in around 2-4 turns (with the exception of the "10k HP head" part, might take a little more. . .)
Good for level 60+ (with Carnax Blade)
Battle High, has better parts to fight
Use anything to increase the offensive bonuses of your attacks
No pets or guests, it will slow you down since their damage do not even compare with attacks using Carnax Blade
Or, for advanced players, if you have a Big Clone, set it to attack at certain times if you think that slightl final damage could mean saving you a turn and getting an early victory
