 Ok here are the first 2 parts.
Part 1 is just simple not anything special.
Part 2 is grass and snow effects.

Don't knock me this is my first ever tutorial!

I admire your effort, good for basics, should help a lot of beginners... but to make a decent tut explaining Terragen's tools would take a LOOOONG time, it's a complex program with a lot of features.

Good job for a first try.

 yeh it wouldve taken way too long that why im doing it in parts.

 Indeed. It will get people's feet in the door, and that's always a good thing.

'Tis basic, very much so; but it does cover the the steps requires to make a decent terragen piece.

Next you'll need to touch on the sun, the clouds, the water, the atmosphere, etc.....

 if you need help in the atomsphere and sun, just ask me. i seem to be good at that part.

nice simple tut. no fancy BG, so it loads within seconds. i like it

 sun is definately the hardest. if you mess that up, everything else gets messed up. that's the one you should really work on

Heres one of my exampelss i decided to try the tut for the fun of it ill post it when its done rendering and ive opened it in GIMP and saved it as jpg
