Nervestruck Shining rivers, Flowing sun Bugs that slither, Snakes that crawl, It's all about the world That seems so small. But as far as you're concered Your little world is just as tall. But the matter of the mind Is frequently much less kind Than what we would like to find. We want something peaceful, Something nice, Something that doesn't come With it's own mental price. But life is no game; We ain't rolling no dice. We're in a much harder game, One we call life. And it ain't illegal To use a mental knife, Or trickery and treason With no real reason. Because laws made by people, Are no laws If you compare them to God's, With no flaws. Like a picturesque diamond, Or a rope made of sand That can dissolve Into your hand. That's how life is Like going bare feet: You first feel, Then go around every problem you meet. Like food on a plate, Or a blank white slate, However you life has come, Like a rainbow full of color Or a buzzing filler That's overly humdrum. But the extraordinary Is only extra ordinary. But normal is just a lie Inside we all Always cry. Stars. When you look up And see the stars I’ll be there I’ll be the stars I’ll still be here My whispers will be in the wind And the moon will be mine The stars will always shine And know on the cold blank nights, That the stars are shining For others to see When you seen the stars Know it’s me. Don’t Run Go step by step And you’ll likely fall Because the steps we take Are way too small The world has left us a distance That we’ve got to walk We’ve only got our whole life So no time to talk But we’ll walk it Wherever it leads And we’ll never be walking alone We can always go home Walk on home… Hello World We're not afraid of the dark We're afraid of whats lurkin init We're not afraid of death We're afraid of what comes withit We're not afraid of whats going on We're afraid of the truth behind it We're not afraid of the pain We're afraid of the price We're not afraid that we'll have hurt We're afraid our sores will have no ice Because our friends just keep on walking in So I don't know when the world walks out But I do know when it's time to go And your mind just wants to get out Because leaving is when leaving goes And comes and keeps on leavin But we just have to keep on believin Because the world just keeps on rollin And strollin As the days fly by And the world just keeps on flyin And cryin As times fade away And the world just keeps on givin And livin As we all do our thing And the world just keeps on shifting And lifting The weights that we bear And the world just keeps on going When we don't go anywhere Spilled. When thoughts go away And what you want is astray... Just try for me Just try And if you have to, Go ahead and cry. Snap I'm so lonely and incoherent Because I've lost a thing we all call a friend Be right or be it wrong I'll sing my story in a song They're just not my type Even if I can't resist it I can't deny it It's not right Because with my other friends I'm real tight But not with this one Not with that one It's all over like the shot of a gun I'm tired of dealing with it The good times versus the bad It doesn't matter if problems are out of the picture And I'm just left to be sad We say they need a cellphone, But could it be that they're Just better left alone?
