I dunno if this is actually allowed since I already had my MtAK thread but since the wipe I wouldn't mind bringing it back. I think the other L&L AK's should do this too actually.

Plus it's a little unfair for Eukara to have to answer all the questions by herself ;p lol

So I don't really have any major rules here, they'll be brought up if I make any. Right now just ask me anything.

I, on the other hand, was smart and moved my thread to the MtAK archives in the OOC forum like the rest of y'all should have done a long time ago. =P

I "did" move it to the OOC archives, but when I tried to move it back I was unable too, thats why I started a new one :p

If it's there, you don't really need to start a new one, do you? 'Sides, you could just ask an OOC AK or a mod to move it back here for you. >_>

That explains why I wasn't able to move it on my own...weird. Oh well, this is more fun ^_^

My shortest story ever at only 23 Chapters, but if you throw the sequel in with it it'll be about 50 so...I guess you could sorta count it as one story

It depends on what the question is. I don't expect people to read through the other questions for fun or anything, so I don't mind when it happens.

Very much so, thats why you'll notice the only one I ever use is "o rly" it being the only one that makes me laugh more than scowl

6: What are your opinions on people re-responding to your response? (Like 'em, hate 'em, ignore them, etc.)
I usually ignore it, My rule is that I only answer each post once.

I don't mind it, doesn't really make it any different than having three seperate questions or what have you

I prefer answering questions where people actually ask about me and who I am. Questions that actually let people know stuff about me. Not having to say how cake is superior to pie fifty times.

10: Well, that's about it. Any other questions that I'd want to ask are probably already--or will be--said. So, yea, see ya around! :)

No, I only read mystery, on rare occasions do I read mystery or sci-fi, and they are usually ones with elements of mystery thrown in (Dirk Gently, Harry Dresden, Garrett, Cal McDonald, etc.)

Nope

I have a Compaq Presario, my graphics card is an ATI Radeion Xpress 200, it's actually not that good lol

I'm whats known as a purgatory trekkie. Not accepted by fans of the original or NG. I find Piccard to be a better, cooler captain but I prefer everyone else from original more than everyone else from next generation

Yeah, it does alright

For writing I prefer a good old fashioned wooden pencil, for drawing I prefer a mechanical one

Hello, time losh.

1. On a curious note, why do you prefer to not have your works critiqued? Is it the time, the effort, the etc.?
Well there are several reasons for it, the biggest being that I would prefer if people worked on their own stories rather than taking their own time to nitpick mine. The second reason being that I am more than well aware of the fact that i'm not grammatically correct about 3/4ths of the time. So it would be a waste of everyones time for them to go through and point out everywhere I needed to capitilize the word "i'm" or where I needed commas or semicolons

2. What style of writing, other than creative, are you partial and/or good at?
Well my favorite genre to both read and write is mystery. Ever since I was a little kid and I read my first Agatha Christie novel I was hooked by the concept of whodunit. When I was 14 I started work on Jack Rose. However for the sake of the Forums here I write more fantasy oriented stories. I enjoy creating atmospheres and putting in references to things I enjoy. Creating a sort of Sad Magic for anyone who reads them

3. On average, how much time a day are you able to give for Battleon Forums, or more specifically, Legends and Lore?
Well L&L is the only section of the battleon forums I associate myself with. Truth is since I technically have no job or girlfriend I can actually be here as much as I want. As many of you are aware I try to write at LEAST one chapter a day and now, try to keep two stories active at any given time. This doesn't always work, sometimes I get writers block

4. If you could instantaneously have the knowledge of another language (and the culture and other things related to truly knowing a foreign language) what language would it be?
Hmm...that is a tough choice. It comes down to either Italian or Japanese. Italian because I would be able to input more into the Jack Rose universe (which is based in Italy) and because I am Italian, so knowing a language of my blood is always a good thing. Japanese because...well...I like japanese girls, i'd like to flirt better lol. Also I lived there for several years, i'd love to go back one day.

5. If you could instantaneously know how to play a new instrument, what would it be?
Piano. My left hand won't let me play the piano, sadly. I've tried but it doesn't work out. My favoeite composer is Chopin and to play his works would be a joy for me

6. Are you partial to puns?
Indeed...sorry, don't have anything clever here...but I do like puns lol

7. If you could travel to another country, what would it be?
I'd either go back to Japan or go to Venice, Italy.

8. Why 'Frosty'?
Because they wouldn't let me be the Drunken Sensei of L&L (it was laughed at by all but still considered inappropriate) and so I went with Frosty, one because my avatar is Jack Frost, the mascot of Atlus games and because I can say i'm like a frosty cold beer lol, thats like being the drunken sensei

9. Soccer or Cross Country?
I actually call Soccer, Football to be honest...and to answer I don't really care for either

10. Would you allow me to congratulate you on your ascension to ArchKnight, since I wasn't present at that time?

11. How hard was it for you to become an Approved Author?
Not at all actually. Basically i've been in L&L for a really long time and this is how it happened for me. I was around when everyone was allowed to write. Anyone who just create an account and post a story. In those days however, you can imagine a lot of...I don't want to say bad but...lets just say that talented writers stood out a bit more. Eventually the concept of being an approved author came into play when I was in the middle of my 6th story. This was before the writing acadamy was officially established though. So I merely asked Falerin if i'd be allowed to finish my story. So I became approved a few weeks before the writing acadamy existed lol. And since the wipe, I was an AK by this point obviously so I wasn't required to go through it. However I did write one story that I sent through the writing acadamy for fun and notes.

12. What would you improve on for 'Keldrin'?
Well personally I should be asking YOU that. The original subspace character for Keldrin was a man named Blackthorn. He wore a top hat and a trench coat and his weapon was two enormous six shooters that were attached to his wrists. If you're wondering what a subspace character is, it's the character I design when I come up with the story. Basically put, it's the character that you guys replace. Because of this however I often end up doing things that the people who signed up didn't want or expect. So the question is, what do YOU think of Keldrin?

13. What music are you partial to listening to?
For every story I write, I make whats called a Playlist (which obviously isn't a term I invented lol) but it's essentially a list of songs that somehow remind me of the story i'm currently writing. Even if the lyrics don't remind me of the story, the beat can sometimes put me in the mood. I have a lot of different styles of music I like. Some of my favorite bands or singers are Voltaire, Freezepop, Creature Feature, Natalie Portmans Shaved Head (yes it's a band) For the Fairy Saga, songs in my playlist are The Bad Touch, Sprite, Walkie Talkie Man, Graveyard Picnic, and How to Serve Man

14. What is one of your favorite books/stories, published or unpublished, that you've ever read?
well I would say my favorite book of all time is Pest Control by Bill Fitzhugh, and some of my favorite mystery novels are the Frank Burly series by John Swartzwelder (some of you may know him as a very famous writer for the Simpsons) If you ever get the chance, look into those books

15. What is your best subject in the educational system?
English was always my best subject, because of my ability to write and be creative. I was also really good at History because I enjoyed the subject, learning of things passed and observing how people have evolved, all that stuff

1. What does Time Losh mean?
Time is of course the abstract concept invented by carbon based lifeforms so that we may monitor our ongoing decay...also I carry a pocketwatch, it's shiny. Losh on the other hand I do believe i've explained before. Despite it's origins I wrote a short story about a race of underground worm creatures that considered their own flesh to be a great delicacy. This was my first introduction into what a Losh actually was.

Honestly...didn't care for it. There were a lot of parts I liked but...I can name 20 episodes off the top of my head that I liked more

Uh...well to be honest with you, my stories all got destroyed in the Wipe. But my longest story was called The Hunters Kiss. My shortest story is actually Faeries Light, which you can still find here.

9. Do you think that myself (a new writer) could become like you?
Trust me, you don't want that. I'm an angry sarcastic drunk who usually values his coffee more than peoples feelings...but in terms of popularity. You bet, heres my advice. Don't shoot for fame. When I started here about 3 and a half years ago I just wrote because I thought "why not?" before I knew it I kept writing and writing, eventually I won writer of the month and even became an AK. I never expected any of it. When writing it's important to be original. Conduct your stories in a way that you haven't seen before

10. I'm going to school tomorrow, are you at school or have you graduated?
I graduated from Yokota High School over in Japan

11. How is it like being an AK?
It's like being a rock star...only without the sex, drugs and rock and roll...ok so it's nothing like that. But it's alright

I currently live with a 7 year old kid, I usually wanna snap the necks of people who constantly repeat themselves

Not really any websites, no. But I do have my inspirations

Well, according to Fal. He knew that I was well respected and renowned throughout the community. I kept a clean record (somehow) and he respected me as both a writer and a person. It's just a matter of using time as the path to prove your character

It's fine, I have fun with these. As long as I have a cup of coffee with me (which I do)

17. You hate people repeating themselves, will you actually ignore them unless you take it like a little joke?
For the most part, I will humor people. Certain things get repeated a lot though and I can't stand them. But for the most part I answer all questions

18. I know that your name is unusual, so here's a question about it. Where did it come from?
That IS a question I get asked a lot, and it's fair. Basically a long time ago there was a cartoon on Nickolodeon called Pelswick, it was about a kid in a wheelchair and his friends. One of the episodes was about pro-wrestling and how it was fixed. Pelswick tried to explain to his friend that he was going to lose his next match. His friend then said "Me? Lose? L-O-S-H?" then after a pause Pelswick said "...thats losh." for some reason I always found that to be hilarious. However, to make the word my own. I did write a short story about an underground race of worms known as Loshes (I still don't know what the plural for Losh is, I personally see it like Moose and Deer, where the plural is the same) They were a race driven to exintinction because they found their own flesh to be a great delicacy

Certainly one of the longer ones, but not the worst. Trust me. In my first thread, I had one guy write 250 questions. After each one he also added Why? even to questions that don't need a Why? after them (like how old I was and where was I born)

21. Are you an author in real life?
In terms of stories? Yes, I am a writer here and here alone. I have 3 novels on my computer that I wrote but thats it. I don't currently have any plans for publishing them. However, in terms of other materials, then yes. I write my own stand-up material and I'm writing some spec scripts for television. My dream is to write for TV

22. Are you planning to become and author in real life.
Not of stories, but of screenplays

23. Are you glad that people take interest in you?
Very. When I first started writing here I never imagined i'd get where I am now. I consider all of my readers my friends, and i've made some really good friends in my time here.

24. What happened to your other =MtAK= post?
It's still there, under the archives thread...sorry, I don't remember how to get there. But if you can find it you're more than welcome to check it out

25. How long has it tooken you to take interest in the games from when you were a teenager onwards?
I joined the forums about 2 days after I first played AQ. I thought it was a fun and interesting game. I still play every now and then but not on a regular basis. I'm usually here in the forums about five times more than I spend playing the games

26. Do you want to do something different right now than answering my questions.
Nah, if I wasn't doing this, i'd be writing. and answering questions always puts me in the mood for writing anyways

27. Can you hold your breath for between 3 - 6 minutes?
I've never really checked

28. Who is your favourite author?
Bill Fitzhugh. He is a master of comedy, mystery and suspense. He's also very nice, is one of the only human beings to read one of my novels and he wrote some very nice notes about it. I recommend his book Pest Control if you can find it. Most big bookstores should carry it. Fantastic read about assassins and you'll also get to learn a lot. Great book, my personal favorite

29. Do you think people are selfish making self nominations?
I have no opinion on this subject

Not at all, i'm having fun

No, when I joined the forums I was in Japan so...it was pretty much just me over there. I don't think anyone from around here is in Maine either

Yes. However, I just answered this question 2 posts up. So i'll give you the short version, check it out if you want the whole thing. The word Losh came from a line in a TV show I used to like. A few years after I wrote a short story and turned Losh into a race

I'd choose Twilly because he may be pretty lean, but he can heal. So, each meal we switch off who gets to lose a limb then Twilly heals it back on and we eat the severed limb.
