I've been following very closely to the oped topics of this game, and I've finally found the solution. The players of this game don't care about whats oped or not they care about their win ratios.

Now heres my ingenious plan, why don't we remove our losses from the game. They serve no purpose and if we remove them the players won't complain when they lose to a random crit or block.

If we were to remove our losses the players would be free to pursue any build that they wish. At the moment caster builds are useless to mages, with my idea implemented mages would actually try it because they have nothing to lose.

That would solve the problem, but people would not be that enthusiastic to win that much anymore.
STR builds would also grow in numbers.

If you take out the root of the complaining, there's nothing to complain about. Brilliant!

Haha... not only does this make me laugh, it actually makes sense.
I don't know what other people would think, but I wouldn't mind it.

Although, people would all gravitate to quick-kill builds, which would become overused, because no one would care about losing anymore.
If they can counter-balance the negative results of removing losses (and as an extension, ratios), then you might have a point here.

Thank you,

Yes and no. Sure it stops the complaining. It makes us annoyed that we don't have a diamond-studded badge in our character screen and instead have a blank space.also, it leaves no incentive to win. I think people would just start raging, that their win record is gone.you know what I mean.

I totally agree. Losses are the root of my suffering. I care too much about winning and not lossing that it drives me mad. I honestly

would rather play a game where it didnt matter if you lost because then it would acually make this game fun. People wouldnt be called

noobs for their record and people who npc for their win ratios can finally stop and participate in real fights. There would also be an

increase in wild builds because those people can lose as much as they want with them and not be hurt in anyway win ratio wise. For

once angels....great idea. Supported!

That's a great idea. By getting rid of these ratios the complaining might shrink but never will it stop. Although Keeping wins might be a good idea like on the leader boards. They show you the wins not the loses.. No one cares for loses we want to win!

@Vitodawn
Oh, no one said that we had to get rid of character ranks.
Angels said the ratios could be removed... wins could still be counted, and you could still get the Warlord, Emperor, etc with the normal amount of wins.

The incentive to win would be to win. How is that complicated?
It is, after all, a game.

Thank you,

Wow! Dame angles I didn't know you had it in you but that's actually a pretty easy solution. It's amazing how this could solve all of our problems. If only the admins are willing to put it in.

Inconceivable!

Not a bad idea. Nearly everyone's 1v1 record is already skewed by NPCs, so it doesn't accurately reflect how good you are anyway.

I would suggest this small change though: Let us still view our losses alongside our wins, but only make our wins publicly viewable by everyone else. Some of us like to keep our win rates high even if it isn't seen by anyone else. That's how I know my build's successful and I'm improving.

You are a genius Angels Holocaust.

With this, I would be free to be a STR MAGE! With Max bludgeon, and not worry about Failing.

But we still need Daily Achieves, but we would take off the ratios and only put in wins.

@Isaihthemage:: I want my money back.

Well you barely spent any money Isaiah. No offense meant. And god, i'm not flaming/trollng you, but u only spent $10 or less on the game.

OMG i would love it if they removed the loses. just show the wins like they do on your character page. that way i wouldnt have to worry about my record, so i wouldnt be so paranoid about testin new builds.

The only way to get people to stop complaining about builds and Oped'ness is to shutdown epicduel, but that would make an even larger complaint att

@Isaiah. 20 bucks is nothing. thats barely enough to buy 1 lvl 32 season rare weapon with enhancements. it might seem like alot to you but in reality its nothing, Me for example have spent over 10x that. and yes thats my own money that i got from my job

We have a main problem now, dummying would be harder to determine if someone really is dummying. But yes I do support this one.

Ok. Thats a fresh way to look at this game Angels Holocaust. Yes you are totally right that to remove only the losses from our game it would take away a fair few complaints.

From the first day I played this game I learned it was all about the win/loss ratio. It wasn't just about the amount of wins. Players went to every extent whether legal or not to look good. And to some extent still do.

Although I guess I play for the pride of having my somewhat reasonable win/loss ratio, it would definitely relieve some of the tension when we do get unfair battles.

I am open to your idea AH but I am a little apprehensive. There still needs to be some incentive for players to want to win and not just play kiddy fights because we don't care if we lose.

There is other aspects in regard to this as I could well imagine that instead of going to battle we would all just hang out with friends and duel them. This idea would definitely change the whole face of the game.

Would certainly make me less of a cranky pants when I get smashed by some woebegotten build. Would definitely make the game friendlier.

I would still like it to be competitive too. If the incentive to win goes to some degree then I feel it could become a little boring.
