Fitting title :3

I want to know ho you think are the most skilled, powerful, articulated and unique players of EpicDuel, from any time period, including Alpha.
Pick up to 5, and we'll see how it goes!

1. Shaniqua - Such smart builds back in beta, unconventional bounty builds for the win.
2. Angels Holocaust - as mentioned above, the use of an energy sword and Reflex boost , when the rest of the world used Phys. Blades and massacre is something few people could have predicted, and it changed EpicDuel forever.
3. Moesha (Mage Version) - Wiped the floor with me using an 88 support necro mage build...In beta :o And various strong +4 mage builds.
4. Snake King -A high dexterity Merc build, in beta, he showed just how a Mercenary should be.
5. Sir Lazarus - Using Frostbane back in beta, with massive dex, he outclassed most strength bounties and heal loop mages.

I'd also add Sparticus. I believe he bought the GOOD support BH to life. that was my best bh build before merc

voidance, his builds are killer, he obviously knows what he's doing, and based on his trollin' ability and self assureance, if he's posted up builds like that, then he obviously has a better build right now, a way to counter the builds, or has plans near fruition in the works already

and definitle zeal overlord, he's a great player, and alos very polite XD

Voidance: pretty sure your name in EpD is devils advocate, not devils holocaust.

and as for the best players, i would say: angels holocaust, fay beee and Xendran.

My opinion in alpha:
1.chaos1x
2.Zakalin
3.infern0
4.(Me #1 in all time 2 v2's :P)
5.nithera
Not to forget jollygreengiant and demond ^^

My opinions in Beta & Gamma
1.Xendran-- heal looping genius!
2. Shanique & Sparticus, EMP builds, Defensive and offensive.
3.Fay Beee, Dax, Comical Biker, Enormous amount of wins, very skilled.
4. B9000, xxmirxx, JariTheMighty, New Hope, Frostlich, Zakalin AND TRUCOS! lol
5. Who I respect: Syfy, The Golden II, The Shadow Creeper, Narej <--- All good players too.

Thats all for me.

 Using all the criteria you placed, it seems ones who has made a tremendous impact on all layers in the game.

1) Angel's Holocaust - (Fiery personality with a work-horse ethic, Founder of one of the greatest faction in ED)

2) Xendran - He is one of the individuals who tried to expand the class(Mage) beyond it's limitations. And with the ED forums during initial founder era, he was an expressive voice about the challenges for Mages. He was also one of the first players to create a guide on You Tube for many new players

3) Sparticus - A Tactical Gentleman. Very Opinionated when an issue needs to be addressed and is a person who is caring for the community. Also he provided versions of his tactics in a simple format for others to learn from.

4) Shaniqua/Moesha- A person who is a true thinker and always seeks knowledge in improvement. During our duels, she would ask me questions why I did certain moves. The build I use now is not much different then I used then. It was unimpressive, slow and, as many called it, boring; so for anyone to be interested in my ideals in carrying a demanding build, she fascinated me.

5) Daphne(Dax)- She was a fabulous Mage, and our duels against one another meant quite a bit. She was the Mage Doctor. If anyone needed help, she was always was there to aid. While there were many factions at the prime during the early stages, DSX was not one of them. Yet seeing the progression and the building to what this faction is today, it was amazing.

6) Flath - One of the first high level players who given me advise and was very kind to me. Due to my build being very lengthy in duration, I was not favorable to many, and was a target of many unkind comments. He had been, and always be, a very fabulous person. A role-model. An Epic Mage

7) Ashton's Dad - Very Unique player and had always been extremely kind. Another workhorse player, and always had the uncanny ability to create a new faction and make it successful with no transition time.

8) xxxDantexxx (Merc)- One of my favorite players during the early era. I would consider him the gentle giant. I think we had dueled so much against one another maybe 70-100 times. Regardless of his poor decision, when people think of Merc Fathers, Test Build, G00NY and Dante would be in that group.

The players above are just a small number of all the actual duelists who had made the game evolve beyond just a pvp game, and created a community. Everyone is important; everyone who is listed and one's who are not are equally valuable to me. I had enough trouble just naming this amount.

With the modern era of class change and name change, it has been difficult to see and to find players who stick with one class and deal with problems and still compete. The individual of the modern era I am impressed with is Voidance.

I have been focused much in the 2v2 circuit, so I have missed quite a bit over these many months. I have now returned to 1v1 play, and I hope to see and compete against all the elder players and the new superstars to be. :)

hardest players during beta:

Non-varium

B9000(mage both in 2v2 and 1v1), trucos(mage both in 2v2 and 1v1), JariTheMighty(merc 1v1), New Hope(merc 2v2), Frostlich(mage both in 2v2 and 1v1) and Zakalin(bounty hunter both in 1v1 and 2v2)

Varium

All varium player lolz jk here is my list for 2v2 only

Miraged, phalanx,Fj,velvet,morrigan,sha and boomski

List for those who have made great builds

Lightmare(love his suppor bh build and am using a non var version of it on my bh alt)

Xendran(heal loop build)

Sparticus(stupid build a.k.a 5 focus build)

my overall non varium list

1)B9000. he won 1v1 medal and 2v2 medal in early beta he has a great build and he is kind and friendly to all. just a little info it is hard to win 1v1 medal in early beta as a non varium and it is hard to win 2v2 as a non varium mage. and further more he reached commander before any other non var. he was the first to reach that rank as a non varium. that is why he will always be the best non varium in my books.sadly most gamma players do not know him least he was great during beta.

2)JariTheMighty. he made a few boss npc build and he is great in both 1v1 and 2v2. he adepts fast and he no push over in 1v1 or in 2v2. he will always try his best and his build are always effective. he also won 1v1 during beta as a merc when there were loads of heal loopers mages every where.without him there would not be a caden non var merc boss npc build.

3)Zakalin. A great bh during Alpha. he was on 1v1 alltimes during alpha and early beta. the builds he make are hard to beat and challenging. he beat most boss npc as a bh. people tot that it was impossible to beat caden,Nw,tuna and titan as anon var bh but zakalin did it he beat them all and even beat lowe. he is a friendly person and i always find matches with him to interesting and fun.

have not decided my 4th and 5th yet will add it soon

 what about faith they were first 2vs2 faction for guys and girls. they were only faction to win 2vs2 10 times in row. they were my opinion best faction. If glen123456 stay in faith and leader never quit. they would have been better then the dixies chicks. also why does know one ever mention 2vs2 teams as thing they remember.

I think this issue wit 2v2 and 1v1 is with this forum. It is still a new forum and the history here is young. With the edf forums, even if the players leave the game, their work and achievements are left there. I truly hope that EDF will be back. It contained so much history and evolvement, it would be a total loss to this game by not bringing it back.

 All of you are only mentioning popular players,this makes no sense.Iv'e encountered countless unpopular players that are so good at strategies that by the time you lose you wonder how the hell it all happened so fast.I'm not talkking about unskilled str builds that have to get lucky,i'm talking purely outclassing you and varying attacks.

Anyways,iv'e never fought most of those popular players

Iv'e defeated trucos though,when i wasn't full varium yet,had 2 hp left.
Fay beee is very tough though,iv'e come within inches of beating her but something always happens that saves her,this is why i consider her hard.
Uhm,try the thread starter Khannibal,in 2 matches iv'e lost 2 so yeah :D
New hope is definitely a 2v2 boss,if she's with another support partner,then you're screwed.

Imo yes there's far tougher players than the popular ones out there,iv'e been blown away by a few of them,and they never used cheap tricks or abusive builds,because they don't need them.

There are only a few people who I truly admire in this game.

1) Mecho - Known Mecho since early beta, and he still baffles me every once and a while, with very original builds that I have never seen before. On top of this hes a great friend, and always has something hes working to improve on or get better at.

2) Ashari - Another whom i've known since the beginning of time. Very smart with her builds, and never fails to give me a run for my money. She also has a wonderful % and is also working to be better as well.

3) Iamawesome - I've seen people laugh at him or not take him seriously, but this guy has done a lot for the class (mage) as whole. Hes created 1-2 builds which have become very popular and non many people know about. Iamawesome (Deimos...) has a very strong personality, and is never someone you want to cross on the battle field. Also he runs one of the top 10 factions in game, and in my opinion would be one of the better non-founder mages out their.

4) Jaysterknight - One of the great BH's who a lot of people have forgotten, but hes back now, I think...Anyway hes got a great personality, very friendly, knows how to make a build, but most of all knows how to use a build. Never seen someone who can maneuver around a setback as well as Jay.

Others -
Fay Beee, Evric, LiveLoveLaugh, Tak Shura, xDx, Sugarlicious, The Clutch One
I believe everyone here is a beta player, and they all know what they are doing while maintaining friendly and positive/constructive attitudes. They are what make this game worth playing for me.

The reason for this thread is to acknowledge valued players. The names are popular, but to many of the elder players in this game, we remember them not because of popularity but we matched up and grew up together in this game. We all had a chance to see all of our evolvement from our early levels to this date. So the popular names you see, they are from a broader scope of time.

Proven players will be recognized. As I mentioned prior, this particular forum is new. Individualism is not as visible here as it was on EDF. Hopefully if that forum opens again, search those famous names and view their history. Players in those days didnt get famous w/o putting in the work for themselves, factions and community.

 I never like phalanx cause I always hate way so call girl factions would turn down guy.I fought that was bully way of run faction it was mean to guys. now look at guys were better then most of females. anyways faith show them they beat 18 badges. Them less then month. ps thats way I feel about phalanx.
