Frequently Asked Questions

1. Questions about equipment and items
The EpicDuel Wiki is an indispensable tool for nearly everything you would want to know about the game. It contains useful information regarding items of any kind, so be sure to reference that for basic knowledge on items or equipment in question.

Item drops are available through a plethora of channels including solo, team, and juggernaut battles. Certain NPCs also drop items, so look for those those as well. Droppable items can range from items used in missions to broken weapons that can be repaired. Bear in mind that most items are not guaranteed to drop, so referencing this list of possible drop items will aid you in your endeavors.

2. Questions about levels, stats, and skills
The current level cap is 35. For a run-through of what stats do, the Stats Guide located in the EpicDuel Wiki should suffice.

How does the Skill Tree work?
Skills that specify a certain level require you reach the level in question in order to commence their training. The Skill Tree is divided up into 4 tiers with the first horizontal line of skills being of the 1st tier and so on. In order to train a tier 2 skill, you must have trained the preceding skill(s) in that branch at least once. Individual skills may also branch out into further branches.

How do I retrain my stats and skills?
Certain NPCs allow you to retrain your stats and skills by clicking "Retrain Stats & Skills." Doing so resets your stats and skill tree so you may re-spend those points at the cost of 500 credits. Do note that you may not challenge to be challenged to battles until the retraining process is complete. A full list of NPCs which allow you to utilize this function can be found here

3. Questions about Factions and Wars
A faction is a clan affiliated with either Exile or Legion that have a maximum of 18 members. Faction members battle alongside one another in order to acquire influence and earn such awards as 1vs1 Champions, 2vs2 Champions, and Juggernaut Champions on the Leaderboards as well as World Domination in The Faction War between Exile and Legion. You may either create your own faction for 15,000 Credits or 300 Varium by clicking on the faction button or wait for a Founder/Officer of an existing faction to invite you into their faction, provided they have the space in the faction.

What is Faction Influence?
Influence is a figure that represents your faction's power and influence on Delta V. As your faction gains influence, it will rise in the ranks of all the factions on Delta V. War charts visually represent each faction's influence. Influence is calculated as followed:

1v1 Win - 5 Influence (Personal and Faction)
2v2 Win - 15 Influence (Personal and Faction)
Juggernaut Win - 15 Influence (Personal and Faction)
Flag Capture - 150 Influence (Faction)
Alignment Victory - 250 Influence (Faction)
Faction 1v1 Champion - 1000 Influence (Faction)
Faction 2v2 Champion - 1000 Influence (Faction)
Faction Jug Champion - 1000 Influence (Faction)
World Domination - 2500 Influence (Faction)

Personal Influence is the total amount of Influence gained while being in factions. Your starting Influence was determined by your wins with your current faction, and 35% of your War Kills from faction cannons at the time of Delta 1.4.6 update. Total Influence is the amount of Influence a faction has gained from all members, past or present. Daily Influence is the total amount of Influence a faction has gained in a single day that will reset daily. Only the top faction for the Alignment that wins that day will achieve World Domination.

What are Faction Wars?
The Daily Faction War is a competition among factions to control as many War Objectives located around Delta V as possible in order to gain achievements and faction influence. Factions can gain control of a war objective by battling on a map screen that contains an war objective. For every battle victory, the influence you gain will be added to help your faction and alignment control the war objective. The faction controlling it at the time will also gain 1 War Capture per hour for as long as they control that objective. In addition, the controlling faction's flag will be displayed at that capture point. The alignment with the most influence controls that objective, and must pay an hourly tax of 50 influence.

4. What is the Rage Meter?

7.Questions about Hairstyles
Here is the full list of the Male Hairstyles and Female Hairstyles from all classes.

What happens when I unlocked a hairstyle?
Once you unlocked a hairstyle, you'll be able to use that hairstyle. Using an unlocked hairstyle cost a small fee of 100 credits.

When unlocking a hairstyle for one class, can that same hairstyle be used on a different class?
Yes and no. Yes, because there are certain hairstyles that are universal for all classes even though you only purchase it on one class (Ex. Bio Hazard, Wolf Helm, etc.). However, there are hairstyles that are not universal for all classes, even if they look very similar. This means it can only be used on one class.

How to unlock the Epic Stylist Achievements?
Purchase 5 hairstyles to unlock Epic Stylist, 20 hairstyles to unlock Epic Stylist II, and 50 hairstyles to unlock Epic Stylist III
  • Why didn't I get Epic Stylist 'X' when I unlocked enough hairstyles?
In order to get the next one up, you need to purchase a certain amount of hairstyles. That means the default hairstyles (#1-#10) don't count towards the Epic Stylist's achievements, as you never purchase them. Universal hairstyle also only counts as 1, not 3, since you only purchase it once.
8. How do I change my class? What will happen to my character after the change?
Certain NPCs allow you to change you class for a fee of either 900 Varium or 50,000 Credits. If you want to change back to your original class, you have to pay the fee again. Changing classes will un-equip all your class-specific items and you will have to retrain your stats from L1. Bear in mind that you will not be able to use certain items from a previous class.

9. Where do I change my name?
You can change your name for 1100 Varium by talking to certain NPCs. Changing your name reserves any of your previous names so no one else can take it.

10. Questions about chatting public and private chat

In the case of the former, click the Buddy List button, select the person you want to chat with and hit private message. In the case of the latter, click the Faction button, select the person you want to chat with, and send a private message. Offline faction members will have their private message button grayed out, you cannot chat with them.
