The main problem I face in 2v2 is that I constantly get “suspended” and can't fight for quite a while. This is getting very annoying.

I don’t know why such a thing was made, but preventing players from playing is definitely not good. 2v2 is so unbalanced that you really have to leave very often. Every other battle I get a noob low level partner with no gun and no aux and no brains who makes it impossible to win right from the beginning. why would i waste time fighting in a hopeless battle?

In other cases, my partner leaves first in the beginning. What can I do then? What will I try to prove if I stay 1 vs 2?

Sometimes I leave more than I stay and it is not my fault.
This is about 2v2 at high levels. At low levels, it is a bit more balanced but you usually have to leave when you run into a juggernaut because there is no chance of beating them…

Isn’t it time to stop punishing players for something which is often not their fault? discuss please.

Leaving a battle is still your fault, even if its a unfair battle...

 I just AFK and do other stuff, then reap the (meager) rewards :D

Well as you now know that if you leave too many times you get a temporary suspension. Just don't leave, or do jugs or 1v1. It is either that or fight until the end like others have to.

Personally I think if u get suspended its your fault. If u run ur a coward. In all my Epicduel career
I've nver ran once, I've also played since beta and I've nver ran. On those hopeless battles, I fight till the end
No matter what. If you get suspended thats your fault.

well as a long time 2v2 players i would say it is your fault if u get well suspended for running. but i understand u because players without gun and aux are so common in 2v2 now a days(due to credit and exp tweaking done by the devs no offense it is a gr8 feature but it makes noobs wanna play 2v2 more so yeah that explains the influx of noobs in 2v2).well i really want to avoid this timings but i cant power hour= noob partner hour server, reset to until exile is open=noob partner+unfair battles. 2v2 has been unbalanced since beta. running wont solve your problem just fight or use a juggernaut build. some jug builds work in 2v2. well i always test my builds in jug mode first before doing some real 2v2. it help me because i know how to solo with the build and i know how to do things better when i do get a leaver or a noob. Another option be nice to the noob say:hai how is your day. then give him some suggestion on what to do. tell him what he is doing wrong and guide him in the battle not all noobs are brainless morons. give these noobs a chance before running and leaving them to face 2 strong strangers alone.

a lot of fights I wouldn't want YOU as my partner Luna. were do we draw the line with this elitist attitude?

2v2 is under review by Rabblefroth, he said he wants to fix the matchmaking in 2v2, but in a clever way that makes it fairer,
now we just gotta be patient. at least there is light at the end of the tunnel.

2vs2 is definitely unbalanced and drove me nuts, but i dont think your choice to run is correct too, you might have a chance to win but you wouldnt expect it (happens a lot) which is most likely the reason people run away

Personally, I never leave from a battle, and my record reflects that. I find that leaving from a battle is so low that when I see someone who has 9000 wins and about 800 losses, I automatically think "hmmm, looks like we have another crybaby". I know not all are like that, but it has got so out of hand that it's normal for me to think it.

I agree. We also should have a run button. I don't feel like logging out/changing servers just to see the server is full or the world I was in was full when I try to come back into it. A run button should be added that allows us to leave without leaving the game entirely. @Luna I agree completely. I love the new credit and exp system but now it causes even more noobs in 2vs2. Which is why we need in-game tutorial. But that's for another discussion.

I'm sorry but to all of you who are complaining about those noobs and completely unbalanced and unfair 2v2s I don't have much to say, but I will say this. For those who want a run button you are the noobs to me. Can't even take a lose with some backbone. An unfair loss but a loss all the same. Stop complaining it just goes to show how you only care about yourselves and ur petty ingame records.

@Zeoth So? Do you think I honestly care what you have to say about me? I'm a noob to you ok then fine with me. Flame me all you want it doesn't matter. I use to have in the 900s wins and 700s of loses in 2vs2. Now I have 1025 wins and 1035 loses because of all of these noobs. Its entirely their fault because they are brainless idiots which is why I hate them and wish they would make a in-game tutorial to eliminate them. I can take a lose. If me and my average or beast partner put up a good fight and lose then that's fine. But it isn't fine when its lvl 34 full variums vs me (lvl 34 non-var) and my lvl 28 non-var noob partner with nothing but Caden's Wrath who hits nothing but 3s. I would leave the match but I don't feel like completely leaving the game for the reason I stated above. Also that isn't true. I do care about other players in-fact yesterday I even helped one of my friends with their build and got nothing in return from him. Also you don't care about your record? Who wants to play if all they do is lose all the time? I care 100% about my record and always will and if you don't why bother playing? So you should actually have facts before making false accusations otherwise your credibility is gone. Have a nice day sir. :)

I don't care about my record, I use to but I no longer have a reason too. Yea u helped ur buddy. Go help one of those level 28s yours always complaining about. I play for the joy of playing with my friends. Game isn't always about record. Learn to expand that tunnel vision of yours. I get paired up with level 28s all the time, and you know what I take those loses like a man and fight till the end. As I said suspension are your fault and your fault alone. I wasn't direct at you but by attacking me I will now. It was in general but whatever. I would believe that you cared if u bother to help those occasional noobs who need help in a random place. Thanks and good day.

IMO running, changing servers/logging out during battles should count as a loss.

Yea I wish I had been a little less harsh on my first post. I had respect for isiah and still do, I just had to speak my mind. Player who only care about their ratio disgust me now. Even though I use to be like that I've resigned that fact to helping those lack equipment players

Run button would be nice. It would be still better without suspending.

And I find it strange that many people seem to be satisfied with this punishment because they "never run" as they say.
"If you stay you are a hero, and if you run you are coward, noob etc." - this attitude is childish and silly. If you stay in a battle you can never win, what are you trying to prove? and to whom? I know I can't prove anything to anyone, I am just wasting my time if the battle is hopeless. so I leave whenever I want to. (But I never leave my partner if he is good enough and we have a chance to win!)
If someone never runs because he is too proud, ok, it is his choice. But for others this suspending may get very annoying. This is my point.

I don't run because I have some dignity and that if i stay in a hero and running makes me a coward etc is far from childish. It's attitude people carry that attitude everyday. Sometimes sticking around doesn't mean anything. Most people understand why I stick around. If you don't like getting suspended don't run. Simple as it gets

Don't run. You never know if you can win or not, even though the chance might be very slight. Die with honor.

@CarePenguin Only 2 days ago I was in a match it was 2 lvl 34 full vars vs me (lvl 34 non-var) and my lvl 28 non-var NOOB partner. I know for a fact we would lose. Infact I actually stayed and lost within 3 rounds and barely did 30 dmg to one of them. My partner would have only hit 3s or 10s or 20s either way we would have lost epicly. I know for a fact we would lose. We had no chance at winning. Even if we somehow constantly critted,deflected, or blocked.

Hmm, as if it isn't bad enough that leaving a fight still gives you a lose, leaving repeatedly also gets your account temporarily banned? How very disturbing. I hope this issue is fixed soon.

There used to be a Run button, and it was deliberately removed for a reason.

Leaving battles is not a behavior we want to encourage, quite the opposite.

Also, in the last patch, we made a change to the way max-level 2v2 matching in that you can no longer have as wide a level difference between the teams. This was done to prevent things like a 28+34 vs 34+34 from happening.
