Patch Notes - 1.4.10a
NEW CHANGES/FEATURES:
  • Kimberly's Axe is being sold in limited quantities with both Varium and Credit options
  • Chairman Platinum has 4 new missions
BUGS FIXED:
  • Chairman's Fury (Uppercut)
    • Fixed thorns not reflecting damage
    • Fixed Rage being applied if you stole enough to gain max Rage
    • Defense should now always be used to reduce damage, regardless of weapon's damage type
  • Rage gain was ignoring blocks, deflections, and defense-ignoring attacks (including crits)
  • If you leave battle while an NPC is speaking, the dialog no longer continues
  • Unchecking the Sound option will instantly stop all chat and music
  • Rechecking the Sound option will start playing NPC dialog again
  • Charpage no longer flickers 7 blue stars while loading
  • Leaving a battle now counts as a loss for leaderboard percentages

I hate the waay that titan writeq the DNs with, it's so cold.. and rasterized, give it some emotions man, like cinderella she writes a lot just to make us feel you did a lot... well she does it right!

Before this patch, the Uppercut ability was doing damage based on your primary weapon damage, which includes your primary weapon's type. So if you had (14-17) +35 base damage from your energy primary weapon, then Uppercut's damage would be (14-17) +35 energy damage influenced by your opponent's Resistance, and if you were using a physical primary weapon with the same base damage, then Uppercut's damage would be (14-17) +35 physical damage influenced by your opponent's Defense. However, since Uppercut shows up as green (physical) damage during all instances, this was deemed as a bug, since it should therefore only be influenced by your opponent's Defense all the time, regardless of primary weapon type.

This patch made it so that Uppercut is only influenced by Defense all the time.

The chairmain fury attack is a physical strike. However the bug made it so that the attack subtracted from whatever weapon your primary was. So if your weapon was physical it worked correctly however if you had an energy weapon it worked with resistance. Now no matter what weapon you have on it will subtract from defense.

I find it odd that they haven't released any weapons or armors that have an increase of stats. I have no motivation to buy the dage gun/ kimberly axe/ or platinum armor.

 Any chance that the last quest can be easier to get?

I mean you pretty much have 3 easy quests but the last one is pretty much for levels 30 and above.

I fought with a level 25 against the hazard before and won. It all depends on your build, and the one factor everyone hate and wants removed for planning which is the luck factor.

@ Blaze

Yeah that is a good thing however I was so hoping that the mutating weapons from last year would come back. They are tagged seasonal rare and the Halloween event is going on now according to the epic duel wiki. Hopefully they will come with the next update.

It was ~10 points ---> 1 Varium, to my knowledge.

(I have 2926, and I got ~250 varium)

While that would have been nice, we already have the delta knight, Dragon slayer, and the platinum pride armor floating around. Plus what about the level scaling for this armor? Remember anyone could receive the reward no matter how much or how little they played, and if the armor is too high in level the lower levels wouldn't be able to use it, while if it was too low in level the higher ups wouldn't use it as it would weaken them.

The only things that could have been useful for all levels would have been either a bot, or the bike.

hmm now im disappointed. because the platinum's pride was my only guarranteed offence against strength hunters and you guys just made the bounty class more stronger because they will now use strength build stacked with platinum's pride and im a cyber hunter and i do like 6 damage with platinum's pride on a mercenary. i know that its a physical move but it should be beneficial to all of us not just physical classes. so this change im most disappointed about.

@Trizz. I was right and wrong at the same time. I was right about the varium but the same time wrong because of my formula and the reaction.
