Hello,

Has it ever seemed like changing class/name is weird?

Well, my suggestion is this: Class and Name Tokens.

How this would work is as follows. You purchase the respective token (same price), and then go to the class/name changer to change.

HOWEVER, because they are items, they could be included as promos.
