Classes should be one time pay? This was suggested a couple of times...

Well I find some classes boring like TLM because it's a tank so it's slow.

I am a Tactical Mercenary with a Tank Build and I never get bored of it. I have to change my strategy depending on the opponent's Build. I have fun with it or sometimes I get mad for losing.

Same here arthropluera.
I have already changed for like 20 times.
Last week already 2 times.

Thats why i suggested Class buying.

in the last week and a half, i went BH > BM > BH > TM > BM > TLM. and i have an estimated total of about 110 class changes
this is out of boredom (little bit of luck too >.>)

this is why i suggested being able to buy classes for the most hardcore changers (like myself)

@above uh, its really your fault if you are a hardcore changer, of course its no fun if you keep changing class. once you are bored of all 6 class, no matter how much you change it is still the same.

thats not a good excuse for ED not to accommodate its players

many players get bored of the same class. im not the only one.

@goldslayer1 i think thats just a little excuse you use to suit your benefits, many players don't agree with class purchase and those are the players that usually are reasonable and logical on the forums.

Please stop hurling accusations, it's really uncalled for.

I don't see anything wrong with class purchase. Not to say that it will take over class change completely, but the option for it can always be included, no? Doesn't harm anyone, no?

most of the people disagreeing with it, disagree with it because of balance issues. saying that it will cause players to class change to OP classes more.

when logic says, anyone class changing 6 ( or 110+ times total) times in a single week, isn't changing for an OP build.

in my suggestions, i had strict requirements that only extreme class changers (not OP build class changers) would meet.
this way, it helps THEM out, while also keep OP build changers out.

and to go into more detail about ur previous post, if ED made gameplay quality better, players wouldn't get bored of classes would they? so its not entirely my "fault".

@above and nexus it will hurt balance issues, because of human nature, they will always try to be the best by jumping to the most OP class/build, im 100% sure that if the next OP build or class comes in omega 85% of the players in the game will jump to them, and a one time payment of the class will not help the game since if you pay 4.5k to buy a class thats like 5 class changes but when you buy it you can easily abuse it, so not in anyway im supporting this, profit loss is also included, we have to think of others like the devs(they are people with family too, not just robots who don't have a life) instead of thinking for ourselves.

clearly u aren't "logical" then.

if u read my idea, in order to buy classes, u needed X amount of class change (in my idea i put 100 as an example)

100 class changes = $450+ worth of varium

a profit loss would be if such players who purchased so much gets bored of playing the game at the cost of class changing.
and no, 85% of the player would NOT go to the OP class. (where do u get these numbers anyway?)

anyone who changes 100 times isn't changing for OP builds.

in my case, i HATE being confined to 1/6 of the gameplay.
if u enjoy missing out on the other 5/6 of the gameplay, thats fine. but why try to force that on others?

giving the option to buy classes for an increase amount of the change cost, while also requiring X amount of class changes in order to buy such class, would not result in a profit loss.

hello? you forgot the that over time people will eventually reach 100 class change without changing classes like 4 times a week, so if they don't lose profit now they would start losing it sooner or later with your system, so you are not being logical here. you need to think ahead not just the current situation.

-_- u just dont get it. people wont eventually reach 100 classes changes.
u will get a small percentage of players who stuck with the game, who in most cases already spent alot, to rack up that much.
new players come and they would start from 0. if any player who didn't change twice or more per week racks up 100 class changes, he's probably played ED for 2+ years. thats NOT a profit loss for ED.

but ur average player base wont reach it because many quit after a year or so, and this doesn't apply to just ED. there are many players who come in and play the game for X amount of time and then move on to another game.

eh nope, alot of players like me have been playing for a long time (i have played since ED first released) and with this new system in omega, i doubt newer players would bother buying varium or doing a class change with varium, and 100 is not too hard to reach, from when the first 3 new classes are introduced up till now, i have already done over 100 class changes, and i change a class once or twice a week, not so hard is it? so they have the risk of not gaining much profit in omega and at the same time not gaining anything from many loyal varium players, i would support if you raise the bar to 500 changes to purchase a class, but as one of the staff said, this idea never crossed their mind.

i dont think anybody ever changed 500 times. thats an illogical number anyways.

but according to u, ur average player spends $450+ on a single game.

with the changes ED is making, they want to reduce cost for players, but increase players = more profit.

I don't really see why people have the tendancy to change so much. Really, stick to one class and master it. For me that would be BM. I can practically battle as a BM with my eyes closed.

But for the hardcore changers, I can see why you would want to buy classes.

@goldslayer1 nope they spend more, atleast i spend more. anyways legion of souls is correct, you should just stick to a class and master rather than jump to a class and try a build you lose with it then you jump to another class or build, a good player masters his class first before trying newer classes.

and to be honest if i was only thinking about myself, i would definitely support class purchase but thinking for others and the game, i do not agree with it.
