please read other threads about the release time of frysterland event before making a thread of your own, there is already lots of threads discussing when or what the frysterland event will be released and what it will offer, making copies of already existing discussions would just take up space.

The point of this thread was the weirdness of a christmas update happening after christmas.

 I actually found this quite strange too. The even is happening after Christmas, and I almost blew my top until I realized Edgar IS selling the Christmas/holiday rares right now, but there hasn't been any major events other than that.

This year's Frysteland was developed specifically for Omega engine, which had to be postponed, therefore the event itself had to be postponed.

 You guys do realize that Frysteland is not specifically a Christmas event, right? It's a Winter event, and Winter lasts from 12/21/12 to 3/19/13.

 Says who? It was scheduled to be released in December. Nowhere it says Christmas. If it was released with Omega on the 1st date given to us, we'd have at least one or two releases after it before it got to Christmas so it's wrong. Other games have Frostvale which is Christmas event and runs throughout December only.
