why did they change the price mirv buy your equipment for? and the price of everything he used to sell to you?

i suggest they bring it back, like I dont even know if it brings any harm, or if it did please tell me what happend?

I Used To Love That Mirv Discount!

That Was So Cool.

They Switched To A More 'Universal' System When They Released The Search Feature On The Vend Bots.

So That Pricing On Items Was The Same At All Vendors.

Having Some Vendors Charge A Little More Or Less And Give Slightly Better Or Worse Buyback Rates Made Delta V Feel More Realistic And Personalized.

You Actually Had To Shop Around If You Were Smart And Had Favorite Merchants And Had To Look For A Good Deal On Certain Weapons.

That Made The Game Alot More Fun And Intimate... And Now It's Gone.

@above well if the price is cheap or sellback price is more at mirv, no one will go sell their items at other NPCs. they used this new system cuz you don't have to goto a specific vendor to sell your items, much more convenient.

It's Similar To The Mom And Pop Store Vs. The Big Chain Franchise Concept.

What You Call Convenient Is Simply The Same Things At The Same Price Everywhere.

Does Not Have The Same "Feel" As Various Npcs Having There Own Unique Pricing System.

So, It's A Matter Of Personal Preference To Me.

I Miss The "Character" It Gave To Various Npcs And Their Shops.

@above nope, remember the weapons they sell are different, and they got a backstory to them too.

What would make more seance,

If they made it so the NPC that are specialized to a type of weaponry EG. Talia and mage gear, Or Mort with auxiliaries.

Offered better sell backs to the type of weaponry they sell, the more specialized the more credits they offer for that type of weapon.

While the shops that sell lots of everything like junkers would offer an all round price but better the shops that dont sell the type of weapon your selling.


Rather then just having all the same or one NPC they sell back better then everyone else.

As much as I found Mirv useful not everyone else had this intel and therefore unknowingly was being ripped off because they sold to Oz for example. I cannot support this for the fact that ignorance in this situation harms players.
