** Firstly, keep in mind I have no clue how diffcult (impossible ?) it would be to implement this ! **

My suggestion is to put in place a market where players can sell their weapons, armors, bikes, etc to other players directly.
There we would be able to buy rares if somebody ever offered them for sale, get a little higher sell back, get a little lower price for some items, acquire already enhanced/upgraded weapons.

Simply, the seller would ask what he/she wanted for the item and choose how much credits and/or varium they wanted for the item, if someone is willing to pay, win win situation. :)
We should study the possibility of leaving a share of the amount (at least if varium was required for the item) to ED as a sale tax.

Thoughts ?

strongly not supported, this is just like trading with a cost, those who are scammed or hacked can get their rares taken away by the scammer or hacker, it is just unsafe and lots of people will regret it once their rare is gone.

This is in the FSI already

But even if it wasn't not supported. this would

1 defeat the purpose of rare items since they are suppose to be rare. Anyone who brought a rare from a promo would be upset if someone could just buy a rare item off someone else after it went rare.

2 Security issues. Hackers and scammers who stole other people's accounts would just transfer the items over from these accounts dirty cheap.

3 alt abuse. Any one who has an alt with enough money on it could just sell their hand me downs to an alt and get an advantage over other players especially at the lower levels where the masses don't use varium.
