Here is the link


When Titan has the Baby Yeti equipped, it seems that not only robots get strengthened by technology and focus, but they also now have their own damage. I'm just like staring at the pic and this is what I see.

Robot: (8-12) +13 +24

This +15 part comes from the bot itself, the Baby Yeti...What do you guys think? Is this necessary or not? What do you feel about this?

To me, it think this is good because of the reduced stats and this might be necessary. I am afraid though 5 focus builds will become the overrated build.

5 focus builds are already doing really well but people have found ways to counter them, for example bounty hunter str builds are really good along with cyber hunter. So if it does come to bots being that o.p Titan will notice and most likely fix it. But i think strength builds will still destroy!

Actually, I am a 5 focus cyber and I've never really been beat by a bounty hunter unless they energy boost.

I understand, but I'm just asking what you think about this. I think it's actually pretty balanced. :)

5 Focus won't be overrated, imagine how low hp they would have as a 5 focus.

Robots are not getting buffed,

At least that's not what I interpret from the image.

My guess is what they have done is separated the robot base damage, from the technology and base damage accumulated pile.


This means that it is easier to see what our robots and our opponents equipped robot's base damage is and also allows us to clearly see the technology bonus and the effects technology buff and debuffs has on the robots.



Basically it is making robots more like other weapons which have the base damage of the weapon then the addition of whatever stat improves the weapon.

The reason why robots also get the third addition is because of the focus bonus.


However Im assuming robots will have no less or more damage then they do now, rather just a more clear way of viewing it's multiple damage effecting factors.

 I highly doubt that robots will be buffed otherwise everyone wod just go focus build.and i think the devs are tryna get a way from that . Im hoping the strengh builds take a hard hit from omega and its lking like they might . how the mighty have fallen huh?

I think the reason why the ED team did this is because perhaps when they were testing, the robots probably hit too low because of these new stat changes. I don't know, but it's possible.

 nah i wasnt suggesting 5 focus i had guessed the hp would be too low in my opinion (for my playstyle nyway ) at such low hp one bit of luck its game over , i was thinking mre along the lines of 4 focus

They're increasing the base HP up to 60 so it should be around 85ish actually (if you're at the lvl cap)

1 stat = 1 hp so for 5 focus it is exactly 73.

Interesting observation, but it seems pointless to speculate on specific builds that would result.

The health for 5th Focus will nearly be the same, just subtract Agility's role and you can see where this is going.

^I think lord aegis is right. For some reason they want to separate base damage, tech bonus, and focus bonus out as 3 things.

We also have that dmg now. Every robot has a base dmg but not displayed in stats. They just made it visual so nothing changed.

It doesn't say what the robot damage is improved by. I really hope it isn't technology any longer.

@DrianX Same :( Too many 5 focus Tank TLMs -.- making 2v2 unfair for lower levels! Support really needs a buff, I'm hoping for robot damage to be improved by it! :3
