Since we will be able to upgrade any weapon to the max level with max stat, will there be any point in purchasing new items in omega? Because it seems like the omega promo weapons will be the same as the starting weapons. Things like damage and enhancement slots made each weapon unique but it seems like epicduel omega might turn into a dress-up game like aqworlds. whats your thought on this issue?

If you have alot of weapons with different skill cores, you can just change weapons instead of replacing your current skill core which would cost.

First of all you will at least need:
Phys/Energy Gun
Phys/Energy Aux
Phys/Energy Sword
Phys/Energy Class-Specific Primary
An Armor

Howver it would be your benefit to not have to retrain all your items every time you change your build. So it would be ideal to have a STR build sidearm, and a Support build sidearm, and a tank build sidearm, etc. each with cores related to the strategy.

Also, at least at the beginning of Omega, certain cores are locked or exclusive to certain items.

So, yes, TECHNICALLY, with this equipment set you could make any build. Which in a way is like how all equipment are skins in AQW. So it's not quite a dress up game.

Overall, I DO agree with not everyone being basically forced to use the same 3-4 OP'd items. Won't 1v1 be so much more colorful after Omega? I think to some extent "dress up" isn't bad.

^ i agree on all except class specific primary i would argue merc tlm and mage and BM can get away with a sword without loosing too much

if you have omega weapons they will change with your class. so you won't even need class specific weps if you have omega weps.

Well, my point is the difference between sword and class weapons significantly changes your gameplay.

The strategic difference implied (higher base damage and stats vs flexibility in your skill tree) is obviously not purely aesthetic.

This is the main reason why i will be getting alot of weapons.

Some weapons like Omega's will come with a free skill core so it won't be a full on dress-up game like AQW.

Yes, there is a point because not all weps can be exactly the same. In one of officialepicduel's vids on youtube, G00NY mentioned you can't change an item by more than 40%.
