Special Your weapon special activates on hit. Effect: Applies 'Spirit of Fire', 'Spirit of Light', or 'Spirit of Water' at random, a 40% Magic Fire/Light/Water weapon damage DoT effect, to target for 5 turns. (Pop-up: Spirit of Freedom!) (Rate: 10%) Spirit of Fire / Spirit of Light / Spirit of Water Appearance Other information Weapons' special will cause a red, white, or blue outline to appear around the target when activated, respective to the element of the DoT effect applied. Weapons' special has a 10% chance to activate, thus a special of a specific element effectively has a ~3.33% chance to apply. Weapons' special may activate multiple times in a single turn, however specials will overwrite one another, and do not stack; only the most recently applied DoT will remain active.- All 'Spirit' DoT effects can also be overwritten by the following On-Hit DoT specials from the following weapons:
- 'DOOM': Corrupt ShadowReaper of Doom, Corrupt Skullstaff of Doom, Corrupt Twin Blades of Doom, Unreal ShadowReaper of Doom, Unreal Skullstaff of Doom, Unreal Twin Blades of Doom
- 'Destiny': Penultimate Blinding Light of Destiny, Penultimate DragonStaff of Destiny, Penultimate Twin Blades of Destiny, Ultimate Blinding Light of Destiny, Ultimate DragonStaff of Destiny, Ultimate Twin Blades of Destiny
- 'Spirit of Ice' (and thus all 'Spirit' effects): Brave Blade, Bright Star Staff, Dagger of Unity, Freedom, Independence, Liberty, Mace of the North, Pick of the North, Staff of the North, Staff of Unity, Star Spangled Sword, Sword of Unity
