OK SO I STOLE THIS IDEA FROM ANOTHER GAME BUT ITS A GOOT IDEA......
Disclaimer i no peoples must be responsable for there own actions but seriously not every one is smart and not every one is good at english having a prothected account is a BASIC HUMAN RIGHT
Is it possable that the chat log has mini -filters looking for words like password, free varium, login, master account, and the sthuffs. And if some one mentions these things. Then big red automatic chat bubbles like leaderboard updates can pop up and say warnings about scams and stuffs. I dont no but everyone and i mean every budy has the right to a safe acount and they should not be haked because they are gullable and i feel like if we just had simple harmless warnings that chould help alot. And maybe if they r higher leveled or something they can use a check mark box to turn them off????? just in chase it gets anoying. i dont kno a lightbulb poped over my head and i just whant to share this idea because it is a goot idea to prothect people.
Always the daph duck~paige for president~Keep your acounts safe

Here is a scenario for you. A troll enters a room full of people (in ED). The troll starts spamming the word "free varium". Everyone starts getting big red automatic warnings. The troll is happy.

Ur right for that case sertain people can turn of their red warnings or they can only show up a certain amount of times in one instance.

pretty sure words like e-mail, password, etc... are filtered out by the language filter.

...the same language filter that also randomly prevents me from saying "hi" to people

The current game chat doesn't allow the use of "@" sign, that is used in emails, or saying the words "password" and "username". And when you type "password" and send it, a red message message pops up saying: "Admin:Please Do Not Discuss Passwords with other players!".

Most players share their accounts, although knowing the risks of such behavior. Whether it is for varium or whatnot. So I don't think there is anything else that could be done in-game to prevent such things. It is totally up to the players. They know the risks, and they know if something bad happens to their account, help team won't recover it. It's a clear matter I guess.

If there is anything that could be done, it would be putting a reminder in-game, so everytime a player logs in, a red message appears in chat log saying that "sharing your account with someone that promised you of "Giving you varium", a curreny that person doesn't have and you can make sure by checking his/her inventory in character page, is probably a bad thing, and you will probably lose your account, forever, we know you aren't going to listen to this, and we know you are going to share your account, but we just wanted to let you know so you don't get shocked and come back crying at the help team. Sincerely, yours!"

Sure, people can turn off the red warnings, but there would still be a person spamming "free varium".
