There's an Active Core Editor screen. Just allow us to choose the split using this screen (which otherwise actually serves very little purpose).

EDIT: Here's a picture as an example

EDIT2: I realized i got the numbers wrong, health should be 290 here.

Removing cores from armors?

Not removing, just unlinking their actual effects from your Def / Res.

Oh, uh I don’t know how I feel about that change. Could be interesting but then you’d really have no idea what your opponent could do which would definitely mix up strategy.

Especially if we do that with piston, this could be brutal.

I support this. It would be a nice buff to both these cores, not to mention I won't have to put my armor points a certain way to get a certain effect.

Supported. In some builds piston and generator might be useful but due to their relation with armor they can't be used.
