I personally would love a wider variety of quests that drop unlucky doom essences. i felt training my destiny weapon to lvl 50 took a while but kept me engaged. with to my knowledge, only one quest where the unlucky doom essence drops, it gets sadly very boring. i love all the amityvale quests!But, the haunted castle is not engaging enough to warrant doing it 50+ times. the ta's challenge most people use to get undead slayer badges is funny, with a variety of challenge levels and interesting monster design. that being said, it is a great example of a quest that doesnt get boring to play after the first time.

To bring a bit more discussion into this - are there any other "stackable" items (excluding Defenders Metals) that people farm for upgrades that they have trouble with? Which do you have the most trouble with, and what are your go-to quests/solutions for farming them?

AmityVillain has a fairly high drop rate for a pretty speedy run if you have a strong fire/light weapon. I'd say go to Zorbak and do that for the grind, and sell any masks that drop for some small coin. They'll rack up overtime with how much you'll be grinding

I believe there are some war waves in the Zorback's Thankstaking war, if you have access to the story book. You can check out all the quests it's available at on the Pedia page here, just in case there's any you missed or if you want to cycle quests for variety.

Artix's first quest in book one, the castle one the name of which I can't remember, always drops unlucky doom essences, I must have completed that quest more than 50 times
