The Epic Item of Donated Awesomeness (alongside all of the other IoDAs that aren't "Wicked Item of Donated Awesomeness") do not get removed from your inventory upon redeeming for an item, nor can they be sold, which is to prevent you from getting multiple IoDA drops from the wheel itself. Wicked Items of Donated Awesomeness, the ones you can buy in the Doom Merge shop DO get removed, so you can get as many of those as you like. This is also explained on the Prize redemption page:
