 Alright then, time for you guys to ask us any questions you may have, this is a joint thread for jimbo32, Legasee and myself. Questions are limited to 10 per SoO per person, meaning you can have up to 30 questions per person, but only 10 questions per SoO, please make sure to specify who is being asked. I will be editing in this color.

Well, I didn't realize we were giving out so much info! Let's see, my measurements are 38-24-36; I'm a Pisces; I like quiet dinners, walks on the beach, and cute puppies... :D

Alright, so you want the truth do you? I'm from Nova Scotia, Canada; I'm a power engineer; I like sports (football [Go Browns!], hockey, hoops, etc), reading, hiking, and PC games. (and game balance of course! I'm allergic to anime and manga though - sorry Kamui.)

Ever played The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion?
I'm ashamed to say that I haven't. Although I'm a big RPG fan, my PC is getting a little long in the tooth and just doesn't have the juice for a game like Oblivion (I did try Neverwinter Nights 2 - it ran so slow it was like a slideshow. :( )

Kill them?!? I don't think I've ever been that angry. Happily, my days of arguing with fellow forumites are over I believe - there's something about that little red symbol next to your name that discourages arguments I've noticed. XD

Valiable? Valuable or viable? Alright, so I'm a spelling nazi, sue me! :) I get what you mean though - honestly I don't think I've been around long enough to get a "feel" for things yet. I'm certainly happy that I'm able to contribute though.

You know, I think it might be! It's sort of fitting though - we're the only two SoO (so far), and we were both kidnapped squired on the same day.

6: What's the worst injury you have had (For me, it is the injury I just got---both my hands are in casts, and it takes a looooooooong time to write this)?
Ouch! Slammed your hands in the door again didn't you? :) Anyway, I had a real bad burn from a pot of boiling water when I was about 15... wasn't much fun. Oh, yeah...I also got creamed by a car while riding my bike a few years before that. The fun level wasn't much higher for that one.
Well, the bones in my right arm were practically shattered when I was a kid, and I also fell from a second story right onto a pile of wood once. Both have healed nicely, no problems.

1) What do you do for AE? (coder, artist, game staff, forums staff, support staff, Squire of Order)
SoO, which means that we assist the KoO and act as AK's for GBI, Bugs, and Suggestions

2) How did you first find/get involved with AE?
Clicked on an AQ link somewhere - just about a year ago, now that I think about it.Pretty much same as jimbo, but I started around 3 1/2 years ago.

3) What keeps you interested in AQ and DF, all the Ebil Games, and the soon-to-be MechQuest?
Not playing all-out (ie: 4-5 hours a day or more). I know some people are a little obsessive when it comes to hitting their caps, but I just can't handle that without getting sick of what I'm doing. Pretty much the same here, I could probably get an award for "Slowest Active Player Ever", my only character is just Lv 91 >_>

4) Has your time in school prepared you for what you do with AE, or, if you haven't finished school, will it help you once you're done?
A little bit, but I have a bit of a natural talent for mathematics, and I enjoy balance (Comes naturally with being a Libra I suppose.)

5) If you could change anything about one of the games, what would it be and why?
Honestly, I would LOVE for AQ to have PvP possibility, with actual players and not AI, sadly it is likely to never be.

6) What is your favorite part about AQ/DF/Ebil Games?
The variety, and the weekly updates.

7) Who is your favorite moglin and why?
Gotta be Snootch! Isn't he everyone's favorite?

8) Would you like to see a Sneevil vs. Zard matchup? Who would win?
I would, but Zards would win, no contest.

Personal questions:

8) Do you have a favorite style of food? (Southern, Chinese, Italian, etc)
I like all food, but Oriental food is my favorite, sushi in particular.

9) If you like to read, do you have any favorite genres? What are some of your favorites books from it?
I read pretty much constantly. Pretty much anything from the classics to Harry Potter. I'm a big fan of Bernard Cornwell - his "Warlord Chronicles" trilogy about Arthurian Britain is amazing. *slaps forehead* Almost forgot about The Dark Tower cycle as well; how did I forget that? Here's a quote:

No console games, but I play PC games quite a bit. I'm currently playing Titan Quest: Immortal Throne, and I've got quite a few favorites. The Fallout franchise, Baldur's Gate (you haven't played a real PC RPG until you've done BG2: Shadows of Amn), SW: Jedi Academy and Freelancer are some classics that I like. The two "Vampire: The Masquerade" games were also good ones.

11) What are some of your hobbies? What is it about them that is attractive to you?
Games, anime, reading. I like them because I enjoy exploring the stories within, they are quite exciting.

12) Have you completed college? What did you study? Why?
Not completed, but I am currently going through college for networking technology and some graphic design, I enjoy both areas and think they would be useful to know.

13) Do you have any favorite sports teams? What and who?
Big Cleveland Browns fan (see my avvy and title). Unfortunately, they got pounded by Pittsburgh yesterday... :(

14) Do you play any sports? If so, for how long?
Some baseball and basketball, never been on an actual team, just in my spare time for fun.

15) What kind of music do you like to listen to?
All kinds really, but I like Celtic, Rap, and Classical in particular.

16) Do you sing or play any instruments?
Badly, and no.

Nope. My parents have a dog, so that's about as close as I come - doesn't really count though.

Yes, it stings and burns, luckily there are no windows in our cells :)

1) What did Eru Illuvatar give Melkor which he in Illuvatar eyes later destroyed?
Well, Melkor was the most powerful of the Valar, and had some of the characteristics of each of them. I'm not sure what you're referring to, so you stumped me with this one. Not exactly a good start. :( <-- Yay! *ZzlzhtT stumped jimbo and won!* =P It's not something you would think of as an answer, so I'll agree it's a hard one. I guess that would be Beleg <-- In his childhood I meant, Beleg wasn't his neighbour in Doriath I think, well, anyway in his childhood before he moved to Doriath Labadal was his good friend and neighbour.

He was killed by Turin - who he had attacked.

6) What was the name of Turin's youngest sister?
Urwen Lalaith (Laughter) was the youngest - she died of disease or something when she was 4 or 5 IIRC <-- Well, wasn't that his oldest sister? :S Morwen got another child afterwards, Nienor, or Niniel as Turin called her when he found her in the woods.

7) Who is Annatar?
AKA Sauron

8) What was the end for Numenòr?
The end was caused by their rebellion against the Valar <-- Yeah, and the Valar sent a great wave that wiped out the continent of Numenòr

9) How did Thingol die?
Murdered by dwarves

10) Which 'rase' was Sauron, and which 'rase' was Morgoth?
Sauron was of the Maiar. Morgoth (or Melkor) was of the Valar.

Quite a bit actually, helping out with the sweep is fun.
It's good so far... I'm starting to actually *dream* about the sweep though - that's got me sort of concerned... ;)

So, Squires of Order. First off, any clue who came up with the name?
No idea, most likely Kal or Rayf though.

Second, now the Knights are part of the staff, and clearly you are not. However, are you still able to get Test Characters, or are you basically just for the purposes of locking topics?
We are basically granted new privileges as we show responsibility with the privileges that we do have, Test Characters are one privilege we may earn in the future.
Test characters haven't arrived yet, but it's a possibility.

Third, are you still bound by some sort of NDA agreement, even though you aren't staff? (I ask this because unless you're just for topic locking, you have SOME knowledge of "goings on", and that should imply an NDA... no?)
We know to keep our mouths shut ;)
Would *you* want Kal and co. tracking you down for blowing the whistle about something? Seriously though, although we haven't been NDA'ed, we're serious enough about the position that neither of us would ever consider "leaking" anything.

Fourth, do you think that the fact that you are limited to somewhat of an Archknight status is going to limit your abilities to aid the KoO? (I ask this because several AKs have mentioned in the past that their lack of ability has often hindered their performance)
Maybe, but I have yet to see any real problems.
I would imagine that we've got a "leg-up" beyond where the KoO were before they were all staff. We've got a number of "inside" sources, whereas previously there was only Kalanyr.

Fifth, do you feel that it was the right decision to create this new sort of sub-KoO, or that it would have been better to make 1 or 2 (Perhaps other people and not yourselves) full fledged Knights of Order?
I think it was the right thing, KoO are now full staff, so a "Proving Grounds" of sorts is a good idea.
Yeah, I agree with Kamui. Look at it from this angle - Reens doesn't pick new Moderators from the ranks of the forumites, she promotes AK's. Same thing. Since the switch to staff status, things are a bit different now when picking new KoO's. Also, I'm not sure what you mean by "other people and not yourselves". I would imagine that if there were others that were considered to be possible quality additions by the KoO, they would have been asked about the SoO positions as well...

Sorry if I seem a bit prying, but unlike some of the others, I'm more concerned with how effective you guys are going to be rather than which sort of sandwich you'd prefer to wear on your feet or other such nonsense >_>;

What do you think of DF and MQ compared to AQ, conceptionlly?
Well, obviously MQ is quite different in theme. It'll be interesting to see what the game-play will be like. And DF... I think that DF is still sort of working out the kinks (so to speak). It's not a "mature" game like AQ is (when I say mature, I'm not referring to any sort of age requirement for users, but the fact that the AQ "vision" has been fully realized, as opposed to DF which is still in it's infancy). It will be interesting to see how the development progresses though.

I have only a few questions to the both of you:

1. Do you like the simpsons?
Yep, although I'm not the huge fan that some people are.
It's pretty good, I watch it if I catch it on TV.

2. What do you think of the new updates? (Updates being the new SP system and the revision of the first-tier classes)
Most people seem to be happy with them, so that's a good thing.
Same he said, I like them, and it is a good plus that other people do as well.

3. What is your favorite class in-game?
Hmm, I don't generally use many of them, but I guess I'll say Beastmaster.
Beastmaster and Berserker.

And Last of all,

4.What do you look forward most to in the sweep?
The weapons part should be interesting, once we get that far.
Hmm, I'm going to have to say pets, should be fun balancing those out.

I love the look of Razorscale, and in my opinion Darklaw is the coolest looking weapon in the game. I'm generally happy to sacrifice a few points of damage if the weapon is amazing looking.
Baby Void Dragon, one of the few reliable sources of Void damage.

3) Favorite Common gear? (AQ)
Hmm, Reign Bringer (and it's lessers) are pretty cool looking.
I would have to go with the Reignbringer as well, a flaming sword is just too awesome.

4) Wolves or dragons?
Dragons.
^Ditto.

5) Resident Evil or Tenant Ebil?
:) Resident Evil I guess. Good games.
Resident Evil, awesome games.

6) Do you think 130 is a weird number for a level cap?
It is a bit odd, now that you mention it...

Lol, it's just one of those forum things. As you can probably figure out from my avvy and title (if you live in North America anyway) I'm a big Cleveland Browns fan. I needed a unique login for use on message boards, so I just tacked on Jim Brown's number. He was well before my time, but I actually met him before a football game once upon a time.
I thought it was more like the alien cloning system from Destroy All Humans myself >_>

10) Does it seem like a lot of people are being promoted in the forum world, or is it just me?
There does seem to be quite a few new AK's lately. With the Mech Quest launch coming up, maybe they think they'll need them.

11) Do you miss the show "Are You Afraid of the Dark?"?
It's hard to miss what you've never seen (at least so I've noticed). :)
It was a cool show, one of my favorites as a kid.

12) Rares vs Power, which would you rather have? (Assuming that the rare items generally fall between 2 and 5 average damage below the Uber items)
I'm generally less concerned about power than I am with appearance. For example, I refused to buy Big100K for any of my characters until it was redesigned. It was just too homely.
I would have to go with the more powerful items, rares have little meaning for me, and if I need to lose a rare to make room for a stronger item, so be it. Besides, my build practically requires the best items available...
