Okay, in the lack of the storyline being implemented, I feel that this fourm has become too focused on balance. What is good balenced, what is Overpowered, what is Underpowered, that kind of thing. So I thought I would make this thread, place a link to the Storyline Thread here, and see where things go from there.

Discuss and speculate.

because Storyline is for the few people who like to roleplay. balance is something that effects every single player

I would beg to differ in some respects. I agree with you that balance is important, but it is not the be all and end all of games. A large amount of games would be nothing without their storyline, and I feel that the storyline of Epicduel makes it a more interesing world in general rather then, dare I say it, boring PVP all the time. But that's just my opnion.

Personally, I find the storyline of a game to be more important than the balance (and to some extent the gameplay). I agree with Megakyle, PvP does get boring in my opinion and the thing that makes EpicDuel interesting, the thing that keeps many people playing, is the storyline.

I'm sorry, but I DO take offence to that. As the link in the first thread shows ED DOES have one. It's not a fanfic or anything, it was written by BigTuna for the game. The only reason it is not in game is because they have not got round to it.

But this is not a thread to get in a flame war about the story. It is one to speculate on where the aspects in the linked thread will take us. So let's get back to that.

And for the recond, I HATE Final Fantasy.
