I've been considering changing from a bounty hunter to cyber hunter. So I ask for your help:
Discuss the pros and cons of both classes. I'm looking for the following:

Which deals overall more damage?
Which is more efficient?
Which is easier to use?
Which is more FUN to use?
How does it compare to other classes in a 1v1?
How does it compare to other classes in a 2v2?
How does it perform as a juggernaut?
Which do you prefer, personally? why?

Thanks.

I was considering putting this in the Q&A section, but it seemed more of a discussion, since I want to discuss the pros and cons of both classes.

Oh, and I don't need comments like "Try Mercenary ". The question is Cyber or Bounty, so please stay on topic.
Also, if you plan on giving me your favorite, I want to know WHY. I don't care which is better, I want to know WHY.
If you find anything else of importance for a class, feel free to post that.

@speedy That doesn't exactly answer my question.
@bloodknight997 I'm pretty sure I made it clear I didn't need suggestions on other classes. Just to remind you.
@PD That's exactly why I made the questions above so flexible. I want to know in general which is better.
@Sparticus Bloodlust has already been deemed OP, that's why it was nerfed to 23%, right?

Pros of BH against CH:

Smoke is better than Malf if you gonna use str build
Smoke also increase the effectiveness of Shadow arts
It has Bloodlust that keeps you alive
I think reflex boost is better than Def Matrix
Its more like a blocking class think like this Reflexboost + Smoke + Shadow arts it almost guaranty block

Pros of CH against BH:
It has Static charge that recover energy so you can use skills more than 1 time , that means in long term CH is better

Thats it :P , i can be wrong because i didnt played as a CH

Best thing with Cyber Hunters:
Looping Massacre. But, that's pretty rare.

After the next balance update, BH and BM will have a big advantage because you can't trust you heals as much. At this current state, CH is better than BH if you know how to play. Smoke and malf are the same every way you look at it and depending on the build, the lessened dex from smoke can be very easily counter by shielding, healing (which wastes a turn of you not having to use strike) or using unblock-able attacks.

CH is more fun to use.
CH has better dmg in the long turn.
CH becomes the best class if your fight lasts more than 15 rounds.
BH is easier to use.
BH is better in 2v2, but not in 1v1.
BH is better in juggernaut battles.
I prefer CH.

note: A CH with 93str, -40malf, level 7 massacre, can do 100 dmg even counting your opponents shield in 4-5 turns.

Which deals overall more damage? This depends on your build
Which is more efficient? Depends on your build, but in general, BH
Which is easier to use? BH
Which is more FUN to use? This depends on your personal preferance. However, I enjoyed being a CH
How does it compare to other classes in a 1v1? BH is amazing in 1vs1. Ch is good, but the number of successful builds is low
How does it compare to other classes in a 2v2? I dont 2vs2
How does it perform as a juggernaut? I do not do juggernaut
Which do you prefer, personally? why? I prefer BH because of the higher win %

(answers in bold)

BH: experience quick kills and a greater chance of blocking. higher effiecency in healing but is limited to its lack of energy after a moderate amount of time.

CH: its endurance is amazing and can easily manage to have a ton more energy than the opponent. great flexibilty but if its vital, static charge gets blocked, u may not see daylight again. anyways, since it doesnt have a move to increase hit chance, better off u go as mage.

against what turkish said about smoke being better than malf, don't listen to that malarchy, malf is where it is at right now, especially with the rise of TLMs getting armor to boost def and then putting all there extra points into tech, I say go for the CH and get a sweet malf/poison build going and go wreck some TLMs

Smokescreen is better for Strength Builds because it not only lowers your defense but also exponentially reduces your chance to block, therefore making it much easier to hit. Coupled with bloodlust it provides for almost guaranteed heals from attacks.

Malfunction on the other hand used to have the advantage of irregular intervals but that was fixed once the team redid the stats in order to attempt* to curb stat inflation. It does not reduce blocking chances. However, if coupled with Static charge it does make some very nice platforming for looping skills.

But Strength builds are not all there are to BH's and CH's. There's plenty more things that make one better than the other on certain options.

*I say attempt because the extra enhancements applied in the very next update after it more or less reverted all the changes

As one of the older cyber hunters w/ experience I may be able to give you more practical assistance. First I'll fill out your application-

a) Neither
b) Slight advantage to cyber hunters for energy rejuvenation
c) Neither
d) Neither
e) It compares well but also contrasts well
f) It compares well but also contrasts well
g) Better hope they don't hit you too hard
h) I prefer the cybers for both reasons that, it fuses my favourite two classes tech mage and bounty hunter, and that its newer, being more unique

Regarding skills however, cyber hunters act more like tech mages defence-wise, being an impetus (stimulus/force) to use defence skills in reaction, taking up a turn... giving up damage or energy regeneration.

In offence, however, cyber hunters act more like bounty hunters, being an aggressor with benefits. Attacking opens the window to use skills to follow up, increasing their usefulness.

.

If you like conditional fighters, like Cecil from FFIV, you can make a huge battle plan layout.

oh yeah, if only think about smokescreen as a better chance to hit, if ED could more bots, malf would have a better use

Which deals overall more damage? In the long run Cyber does, after using defensive moves and wearing down MP, they dominate.
Which is more efficient? Cyber in my opinion.
Which is easier to use? Bounty
Which is more FUN to use? Cyber by far.
How does it compare to other classes in a 1v1? Very well, i rarely lose with my build, only if luck is involved.
How does it compare to other classes in a 2v2? Decent, not as good as some TaM's though.
How does it perform as a juggernaut? Not sure I don't Jugg with it that much.
Which do you prefer, personally? why I prefer Cyber just because I'm good at it and it's 10x more fun.

CH is better couse u can spam static charge all time u want and u can make a high lvl massacre and decent hp (like 125) and a decent str and u can own anybody.
like this: Malf-emp or/and SC- SC or/and emp- CShot- hit.. (malf again or SC)... untill u get ur massaacre lvl 8 for example xD spaming ur S charge.

In fact CH is the only class that can pown support tlms.

Having been both:

Which deals overall more damage? They are equal by their very nature, PHY vs ENG damage in the only difference
Which is more efficient? At doing what? BH block attacks more by virtue of their skills, CH recharge energy better for the same reason.
Which is easier to use? Neither is easy to use well, many use them poorly and call it simple but it ends up the only simple thing is them.
Which is more FUN to use? All hunters are FUN, regardless of their skill tree hunters are far more interesting.
How does it compare to other classes in a 1v1? Both do well with the right build.
How does it compare to other classes in a 2v2? Both do well with the right build.
How does it perform as a juggernaut? Focus BH/CH both do very well.
Which do you prefer, personally? I'm far more partial to the original BH builds then to CH builds, I find I love Bloodlust which tips the scale to BH, In the future Bloodlust will become the most useful skill since it represents a self controlling method of healing without losing a turn. Soon to be OPed.
