I think this is a good Idea!

We should have a epicduel lottery it would be ran every time its a mods birthday and on Easter not Christmas because people are not on Ed then!

A ticket costs 30k credits or 1k varium

If you win Ultra-Platinum you get any 1 cheevos in the game
1.Saying Ulta-Platinum Lottery Winner worth-5000 rating points
If you win Platinum you get any wep in the game of your choice(Cant be Rare) And a random bike in the game
If you win Gold, you get any wep in the game of your choice (Cant be Rares)
If you win Silver you get 2000battle tokens
And If you win Bronze you win 15k credits

Its a bit of a Gamble.

Why not every day? It will show who win's it at the end of the day.. Except you buy a ticket for 500 a day and they give you a raffle number! :D

and that excludes rare cheevos like the founder, elite, alpha tester, beta tester, gamma tester, dragon's breath etc.... otherwise it would be unfair to those who actually participated in those events/phases you can only choose 2 existing event cheevos because this lottery is only done during a dev's birthday or seasonal events like you said.

no, it would be like getting a free promo package without the varium, unfair to those who bought the promo package, how can you come up with such ideas! it should only be any weapon that's ingame and not a promo item, so you can choose to have a caterpillar bugzooka, dages shotguns, charfades staff etc and a bike of your choice that's currently available in-game, you can't have anything rare or tagged as rare!

i would only support if you change it to my version, i'm sure many would prefer my system unless of course they would want the rares without even paying $50.

1k varium is still a lot compared to 20k credit.

Maybe 10k credit or 100 varium. Or 50k credit or 900 varium.

7k credits = 500 Varium.

Not supported as it is especially with the two highest prizes.

Being able to get any cheevo you want would devalue any of the old rare cheevos and wouldn't be fair to those who got them on time. Not to mention it would also devalue the daily cheevos as well as cause mass confusion.

Image someone winning the ultra platinum one and taking the juggernaut cheevo without ever getting a single jug win, or someone new with no fame having rising star Etc. Confusion and unfairness for those who worked hard at getting these would happen with the top prize.

As for the second one it would be the same problem as the top prize but in a different area. Image someone getting the gamma bot but not having the gamma tester cheevo, or something in the ground of this. More confusion will happen and it wouldn't be right to those who brought promos on time.

If you remove he ultra platinum and platinum one off the list then you are in business but otherwise I won't support it.

didn't want to be so hard on credit players but since this is a event lottery so i guess 50k credits won't be too much to ask considering you have lots of time to farm for it before the event arrives.

If I remember correctly, this was in the FSI before. It doesn't seem to be there anymore. Don't know why it was removed.

I will only support this if entry/drawing lotteries contains no cost. Why? Even if lottery is fun to some (sometimes one of or THE most exciting thing that has happened in their life [playing... winning... losing...]), it desensitizes our child-base of players to gambling and could develop a pattern or game type of memory that they grow up with. All of a sudden when these players are older the ones that attached to gambling are spending their life earnings on lottery tickets. To end this rebuttal, if you understand the odds/probability of lottery or casinos, they lose more than they win. Let us imagine that out of 1000 AE players that gamble, 1 somehow manages to win $50000, the other 999 are strapped of cash. And you know what casino environments are like...

I am just watching out for the youths. So yeah, no costs for drawing.

Depressed makes a good point. Much of this playerbase is pretty young. It's best not to stick this gambling thing to them.

While I don't support this idea myself remember when the old arcade was still in play? You were basically gambling with that if you think about it. You paid 5 tokens to fight for a possible prize. Isn't that another form of gambling?

Gambling could have been grounds for arcade removal, yes. It may have possibly been a countering reason besides being used for the implementation of PVP drops as to why it was removed.

I suggested this idea few months ago, and many and many supported it. However, none of the suggestions everyone wants gets implemented in the game. Or am I wrong?

2. @Sir Caden lottery is a bad idea in my opinion, sorry bud, not supported.

How come no one suggested daily prize draws instead of a lottery?

The differences are:

-in a lottery you pay for "admission", in daily prize draws you do not pay

-in a lottery you can attempt more draws in a single lottery by buying more tickets, raising the odds in favour... in a daily prize draw everyone gets a static number of plays like 1 2 4 5 10 etc etc tries to win something from the draw

So in a lottery you can waste any of your credits/varium to as high of a degree that you want but it still scams the players. In a daily prize draw there is no consequence to playing, there are only 2 outcomes (of varying intensity): no prize win (fail), prize win (success). Of course, the probabilities of winning in a daily prize draw are usually much lower than a paid lottery, or the prizes are comparatively much less in value.

Either way with a set number of plays in a daily prize draw instead of a lottery, the players of EpicDuel are protected from bankruptcy.

If this is ever created it should only be with credits. NO special achievements and NO special weapons.

Here is how I think it should be:
1 Ticket costs 100 Credits
Each player can buy up to 50 Tickets
Each month or each week devs randomly select one ticket
The prize are credits from Ticket sales
