Part 1: "So, Doomknight, you have decided to show your face after all. I don't suppose you are here to surrender so I can get back to warring, are you?" A Doomknight speaks the next sentence, saying "Not a chance. It shouldn't take long for me to win, so the war shouldn't slow down too much. Are you prepared to fight, Chronomancer?" A Chronomancer named Callum, (Who, by the way, apparently spelled it as Cronomancer in his name...) replied to the Doomknight with a smirk. "Would I have been waiting here if I was not prepared to fight? Let's see what you've got, Starsaber." The fight starts immediately, and it is quite obvious that neither of them is holding back any restraint. For every second that passes, the Chronomancer named Callum calls forth from the past a version of himself. First he calls the him that was there a second ago, then a second later once that one becomes two seconds old he summons one from three seconds ago, plus another from one second ago. For every second that passes, he gets two more of himself to help fight. Part 2 Starsaber just sits idly by, grinning. While Callum summons an army of himself, Starsaber just sits back stretching, preparing for the fight. Once the has stretched enough and his patience has worn thin, he shouts at Callum. "I think you have enough now. It's been a full five minutes, you probably don't need any more than that small army of a couple hundred you's just to take on little ol' me, do you? Or are you scared and want to hide behind yourself while we fight?" (Note, my math at this point to find Callum's army is 5*60*2 + 1, which ends up as 601. That's 601 Chronomancers and Timekillers fighting a single Doomknight.) Callum, obviously amused by Starsaber's attempt to make him fight before this gets out of hand, decides that a couple hundred people who can stop time and fight while he is frozen, or perhaps fire a single beam of the Ultimate Course of Events, the inevitable stuff that WILL happen no matter what and can make any who see what fate awaits go insane, at this enemy. He is more prepared than he thought he would be, for he thought the moment he started summoning more of himself Starsaber would go berserk and attack immediately. He never once thought that he would be given an ample amount of time to prepare a small army. This was going to be too easy. Part 3 The fight kicked up immediately. Callum had already started speeding himself up while keeping the rest of reality at the same speed it has always been, while Starsaber reached into his backpack and pulled out his sword. Starsaber had no sooner slashed at where Callum had been a mere moment ago when he realized he had already moved out of the way. Starsaber is fighting someone who can just go back in time to dodge an attack that had hit him a moment ago by pushing himself out of the way before returning to the present, thus always ensuring he comes out unscathed. Callum had also realized that there was now a tear is reality where he had just been standing due to Starsaber's sword striking down somehow faster than terminal velocity should allow at such an angle, even with a blade as sharp as it was, and still managing to pack more of a punch that should be possible, humanly or otherwise. This made Callum understand what he was up against. Both their fates had been sealed. Part 4 Starsaber struck at Callum once more with blinding speed, only to find he had moved once more. Suddenly, before he can turn, he felt a sharp pain in his side. As he looks down, he notices that a crossbow bolt had struck him. He quickly takes in his surroundings and finds that several dozen more lie around the field. He may not be a Chronomancer, but he can still move fast enough to dodge something restricted by air resistence. While he is taking in this thought of just how much he had dodged, a good twelve more had found themselves lodged into his armor. Seven of them had managed to actually pierce his armor and cause him to bleed. With his hand covering his wounds, he took the opportunity to catch Callum of guard, hitting him with such ferocious strength that a crater had formed beneath the two of them, and striking so fast a sonic boom had sent each of them flying away from each other from the force of the strike. Callum responded quickly by having each of his past selves take out a trebuchet and pause time. With as much time as he needed in order to aim each trebuchet precisely without causing a disruption in time, Callum and his 600 other Callums each took careful aim at Starsaber and launched. No sooner had to first ~300 or so hit when time resumed. Starsaber managed to dodge the last 100 or so, but the rest were too close to be dodged when time had continued. Starsaber quickly gathered what little strength he had left and focused so intensely on emerging victorious that his strength grew a thousand-fold. He tore Callum's army to shreds, but ran out of energy before the original Callum could sustain more severe injuries than he had. It was still enough to leave only the two of them standing, out of breath. Starsaber's sword was many meters away on the ground, abandoned while Starsaber had gone into a frenzy. Both Callum and Starsaber were on the ground gasping for breath. The end of the fight had drawn near. Part 5 Starsaber hurriedly picked up his sword off the ground as Callum traded his crossbows for daggers. They held still for a moment, surveying, analyzing, predicting, trying to find the perfect opportunity to strike. They both had the same idea, seeing the other person hesitate. The leapt at each other, both feet leaving the ground. They clashed midair, blade meeting armor and flesh. They both landed, out of breath, injured. Suddenly, one of the men dropped. The wounds were too much. The last man limped away victorious. A winner had been decided...
