Mmkay guys, let's cool down just a little bit here. The reason listing threads aren't allowed is because the poster's topic, which is essentially to record and/or admire the list of players who have reached level 40 in this case, and the poster's "discussional request", which in this case is just to post additional players, has little actual "discussion" value. To successfully fulfill the request, all people have to do is take an entire post to name someone, which doesn't call for much discussion. The discussion that did happen in this thread wasn't even on-topic, and several people told them to stop. You're right to say that this isn't a balance thread, but we allow those simply because you guys then have a chance to calmly discuss your opinions. Whether you guys start off with the proper "tools" to discuss, or gradually gain the tools in your days here, you should have those tools eventually to be able to post here. The reason those balance threads are locked/deleted/burnedtonothingness are because the posts there simply aren't courteous to one or more people, they have a snarky attitude in going about their messages, or they don't serve to construct something of use. For example, something along the lines of "the developers fail in...[insert random words here]" were stated. Seriously, when you start about your business with that kind wording, it'll make you and your post just a little more detestable, whether it's by the developers themselves, by people that respect the developers, or the people that see it fit to delete that message.
So, I'd like to invite all those who read this to just try being a little nicer than you've been. If your response is "But I have been nice!", then a little more won't kill you, or I probably wasn't aiming this at you. If you were thinking about creating a big hate thread, remember that this is just a game, and that no one forced you to buy anything for it. That decision came entirely of your own will, whether you think circumstances forced you to buy Varium/packages or not. If you're just trying to spread hate around here, well, don't. After playing this game, hate can't seriously be the only thing you have on your mind.
