Well I'm suggesting to divide the armor in 2. One with the passive core and one with the active core.

The reason is I find the passive core really good, and it will be good with generator or piston punch. I guess the reason of putting a core in this armor was to dont let focus use the armor, or at least dont let them use this armor being op. I think the armor was made just for strength or support builds, who dont find really necessary using generator or piston punch.
But TBH I think they also need those cores, maybe more than some focus.
So why dont take the active core to another armor? Both cores together arent good, at least make 1 of them good.

I dont even find the core good. Because it just take energy when the opponent use a melee attack. Strengths are the only one who will use a melee attack even though the target has this core. All strengths have 1 or 2 attacks who requeres energy, after using them, they can just strike.
So taking energy from strengths is not a real advantage, and you can only make this core work with them.

Although this core was good, I think the passive core would be better without an active core.
We can try to buff the passive core, but I think both cores should be separated.

I didn't care why there were two locked cores on sone non-robot items. But with Blood Hawk armor, I see why now. Not supported. This gives people an infinite Energy supply. That would be OP. If someone wears this armor and fights someone who uses a Tech abuse and/or Focus 5 build, this will just cripple the Tech abuse/Focus 5 player. Their non-Tech scaling skills and weapons would be weak, and since they would need a robot and to use it, this would result in feeding the Blood Hawk armor user. They do this sometimes, yes, but with something like Generator or Piston Punch combined with it, yeah, that would not only be OPM OP*, but it would possibly make the game more P2W as players would be spending their money on Varium or that armor Frozen Fury package just to get the armor.

IIRC, Cyber Hunter is the worst class in the game with the only good build they can make being a Focus 5 build. This would make them obsolete.

*Yes. That's supposed to say One Punch Man Overpowered, because it would be like they destroyed you with one punch.

It wont be op. It will just work with focus, not with all builds. So in many fights the core will be practically usseles. If you think they will gain a lot of energy is ok, the % of conversation can be lower.
I think right now f5 builds have a big advantage vs strength builds. They have kartherax and the buff that can make the opponent do 30 damage (and that is better now since strength lost the gun and just can use 1 type of damage).
F5 also has auxiliar with over 600 damage, and in some cases they have strong skills like bunker, surgical, stun grenade, plasma cannon and supercharge.
Also focus starts first vs strength, so in first turn they can start with the bot.

Alright, I find op 50%. Maybe if it is lowered to 25%-35% it will be ok.
25% will be just 100 energy if the bot deals 400 damage.
how do you find this?

Well, I guess it is only Tech abuse/F5 bot users that would be affected by this. Well, I still can't support it. Even if players who already have the armor get two armors out of that, they'd still rage that they wasted real life money (bought through Promo)/Varium (still used real life money, but didn't buy it in the Promo) on an armor that's really good that required you to pay real life money. Even if you nerf the amount of Energy it regenerates from being attacked by a bot, players will still rage that it's been nerfed, even if it is a small nerf to allow you to make and armor more powerful, even if the Active Core is completely useless. (Unless paired with Azrael's Anguish.)

I dont get why someone would get mad about a buff to the armor. It is now avaible for credits, everyone can get it for credits.
And varium players who has it, will get a buff for the armor they bought with real money
If this suggestion is implemented, who bought it already, will get both armor.

Or you could buff the active core because what the OP suggestion does is make one useful armor and one useless armor which doesn't really help. It solves a problem by introducing another one.

Hm if they were separeted, both would be better. For example, make Spirit Thorns a passive core that takes energy every time someone strikes you.
Here we will buff support/dex/strength leting them use Absorption with piston or generator and focus (and other classes) leting them use Spirit Thorns vs strength builds.
