-Each weapon will have a maximum of 240 space.
-Overpowered cores such as Azrael's will, 6+ cores, Generator, Hazmat's suit's new armor core and Eternal Protection will require 240 space.
-Weaker cores will require less space such as Piston, Chairman's fury and the other weak armor cores. Chairman for example, will require 100 space and Piston will require 140.
-You will be able to use more than one core and cores won't have to be nerfed if they are overpowered; as they will cost higher space.
-This will bring back old useless cores such as Delta Curse.
-This will make fights more enjoyable and would make it harder to copy a build; as the choice of cores will decide if a build is good or no and not everyone can afford the same cores.
***Note***
These numbers are just examples. Developers would study the numbers and decide them themselves.

Not supported.
The thing is, classes like tech mages, bounty hunters and cyber hunters have access to 4 different draining skills/cores:
- EMP for CH, assim for TM and static grenade for BH as a main draining skill.
- Frost shards for swords.
- Piston punch/... for armor.
- Energy shot for sidearms.

So already if a CH can drain 500/600 energy with EMP, 290 energy with piston punch and 150 energy with frost shards, and finally 100 energy taken with energy shot, that's 1040/1140 energy drained with these 4 skills combained. That's almost twice base energy each class has, meaning classes like mercenaries won't have a chance against such combinations, as static smash can not drain 1/10th of that number.

Your suggestion is about allowing these classes access to more energy draning cores. Which is a bit broken. I would support this if energy related cores are limited per each class, classes who have a strong energy draining skill should have access to 1/2 energy draining core(s) maximum, and those who doesn't should have access to more. Or if this suggestion is about non-related energy draining cores, I think it should be fine.

The housing space of Energy related cores will be high so it will be fine. For example energy shot's housing space should be 150 and that new rage reduction gun core would require 90 so you could only use these 2 cores but you cant use energy shot with Azrael's will or Frozen Fury gun. Got it?

And about piston, you can't use it with generator you can only use it with blood hawk armor, that support increasing armor and chairman platinum so I don't see where it's broken.

This suggestion would only be viable for passive cores. Most active cores require energy, and not all classes have easy access to energy (Merc). Maybe when the game gets balanced, using multiple active cores could be a thing.

Easily supported. Great idea that would prove to be a great step forward into this games evolutionary phase (meaning the next step dorward out of this bland era we live in now).

Hope it gets implemented
