War threads are not to debate what is strong or weak, good or evil. They are for people to discuss the war, rally together and encourage each other while battling war waves. Same goes for links to songs you listen to while fighting war waves. Feel free to share the songs but also participate in the War discussion and do not discuss the songs themselves or the artists, as they are not war related discussion. If you want to link any youtube videos for other players to listen to while warring, it must be able to meet the AE Forum requirements which is PG. To do this, simply use quietube. Here's how:

I was expecting this to be a lot freakier, but that intro cutscene was just so fun.

Theory time!

SOoo based on the fact that these "flagella" are cells, I'm going to assume that what we're fighting is some sort of organic infection inside a machine, the machine being Key (dur). I suppose these "curators" act like white blood cells, attacking any entity they see as foreign. The murmurs I'm not sure about though. They seem to possess characteristics of both the infection and Key's infrastructure.

These gold soulthread looking things puzzle me too. Could they be related to the infection in some way? Are they what Lock and Key took from us last time we saw them at the Egg Hunt?

if you look at the background it seems like the tissue like substance is inside the walls and under the floor rather than on top of it so it makes more sense if key is a combination of both organic and inorganic materials, this also explains the murmurs and we can assume that the reason they are attacking us is because key is broken.

Seems like this is our war "progress bar"? I'm not too sure myself.

Actually, what the inside walls remind me of is what Book 3 Sepulchure looks like without the disguise/armor - the same shades and colors of the sweeps of muscle/organic armor thing. Which makes me wonder if the Shadowscythe has anything to do with the infection of Key...

I did thought that maybe the war would be inside Lock's head, but it was done very well. Welcome Guest was a great introduction to this.

And I'm thinking, since this is kind-of Friday the 13th war, was this done by Remthalas?
