I, Sentharn, the weird, the strange, the odd, the unusual, the inorderately wordy, the amazingly irritating, the incredible, the interesting, the computer wizard, the CPU freak, the nerd, the weryling, the reader, the writer, the dragon, the foxy girl, greet you, Versilaryan, the talented, the musical, the powerful, the omniscient, the Q, the Niven! The Q? The Niven? I agree with everything else, though. =P I can tell that you are simply impatient to answer my questions, so with little dallying (Here defined as 'wasting large amounts of time by talking wordily, using excess adverbs and/or words, and generally typing way too much just because, after all, it is *so* fun to do so, I mean, seriously, sometimes I just looooove typing, and I'll do it all day, and that's why I think I became a writer, and being a writer is really fun, but I digress...) I shall get to the questions you so eagerly desire! =D So! I shall begin. Ready? Of course you are. I don't know why I asked. I knew you were ready, really, I did! This was a trick question. The answer is pencil! The answer has ALWAYS been pencil! Okay...ready? Is this a trick question, too? =O 1. What do you think of Steely Dan? Weird music. But cool music. 2. How come you hardly draw anymore? 'Cause I don't feel like it. >_> 3. Assuming I have a 2.0Ghz Pentium 4, a 2.0Ghz Celeron, and a 2000+ AMD, which is the better of the three? Whichever one has a banana sticker on it. If none of them have a banana sticker, they all suck. 4. Should I spent $40 on a motherboard that would normally cost $200? No, never. I'd recommend spending $400 on that motherboard, though. =O 5. Aside from playing trumpet, playing guitar, writing, and playing trumpet, what else do you enjoy doing in real life? Playing the trumpet. =P Video games, hanging out in here. But, really, music and these forums eat my life. I need to spend more time actually doing stuff, but I'm a long-time Internet addict. You can't just make me give this stuff up like that. >_> MY INTERNET! 6. If I invited you up on-stage to play "Frosty" at a gig, would you bring your trumpet on up and wail away? Totally. I'd probably try to steal solos elsewhere, too, then play a heavy metal piece in the middle of your gig. =P 7. Al Hirt or George Bleopob? None of them can beat Don Ellis' quarter-tone trumpet. Not to mention that he can make /really/ good improv solos in insane time signatures. 8. What is the clock speed of a S3 Savage? Sixty-three. 9. So, exactly how did the ii-V-I get so popular? Why didn't ii-VI-V-I, for example, get popular? The two most popular chord progressions are IV-V-I, and ii-V-I. The former is pretty obvious: subdominant, dominant, tonic. The latter might be popular because it's literally only one note away from the former. (It's just a IV chord, except the tonic note is moved up.) That, and a song called I've Got Rhythm made liberal use of the I-vi-ii-V progression, and it's become one of /the/ most-used chord progressions in jazz -- not to mention a billion different other genres, too. 10. Why is Flash so annoying? Nothing in this world is perfect. =O That's all I have time for now. I am dearly sorry to keep you waiting! No big deal. Bai!
