I am writing this formal letter to ask some questions.

The very first on my mind is this. Why do I keep seeing the name "Shump" pop up when I read other responses on this mtak? It seems unusual and the name "Shump" implies that I more than likely know the name. Which is odd because I do. I specifically recall a community member who uses that name who wrote in several guides that I came across reading.
Shump was my old name. People still call me 'Shump', no one calls me Laos, unless they've just met me. :P
