18) Real Christmas trees or artificial? Real. Artificial trees are horrible.

20) Heels or boots? Toughie. I usually wear boots in my day to day life, but I love wearing my heels when the ocassion calls for it.

22) What is your favorite season/holiday? Easter. FREE CHOCOLATE.

23) Are you the kind of person who cannot sleep without covers no matter the weather, or does it not matter? I have to have covers.

So an AK? I was as surprised as anyone at the offer.

What colour are your chains and shackles? Red and black.

Saasy Seamstress? Where did you come up with that? Eukky did, on account of my passion for sewing.

How long have you been an AK? I missed a few days round these parts (I was on holiday) and haven't been up to date... Since Boxing Day.

I'm back and I have questions this time. :D

What was your most interesting forum experience before becoming an AK? Erm... Probably just writing and posting here or entering contests.

After becoming one? Seeing all the shiny buttons and answering questions in this thread. :D

Which question, so far, has been your favorite one to answer? Demolitiondragons, I think. She only had one in her post.

Which one has been your least favorite? The ones about my favourite film and book series, because there are too many to list.

If you could have any one thing from books, movies, games, or TV shows, what would it be? Wow. Such a broad question, this is. /yoda. I would probably say the imagination and creativity of the writers.

Which story here is your favorite one to read (assuming you can answer that without offending people here. :))? All the ones I have critiqued, because I have to think deeply on how to improve them and what the intention/meaning of the writer was.

How hard is it to read all of the stories (I heard that L&L AKs have to read all of them)? We have to read all Book submissions and as many stories in L+L as we can. It's sometimes an onerous task, as lots of them are really long.

That's all I can think of. Congrats again on AK-ship.

Greetings Helix, I still haven't congratulated you properly so here I am.

So on with the questions:

1) You seem to be a very persevering person, spending copious amounts of time wading through people's works and critiquing them with great thoroughness. What motivates you? Helping people that want to improve their writing improve it. I also learn from them, so it's a learning curve for both of us.

2) What kind of genre, fiction in particular, do you like? Fantasy. I'm currently reading A Game Of Thrones by George R.R Martin.

3) Judging by your siggy, you seem to be an anime person, or at least like it, so which series/movies do you like? And does anime or Japanese media as a whole(light/visual novels etc.) influence your works as a writer? Frankly, I'm not that into anime. The siggy is something .D made for me because I 'act like a cat' a lot of the time, apparently (I don't). I do like Vampire Knight and Trinity Blood, but they're the only two I've watched all the way through.

I would say graphic novels influence my writing a lot. There's much in a graphic suggested by the drawing; I learn to do the same with writing. Recent Batman novels are a particular favourite because his writers delve very deep into the character's mind, to places other people might not go. It's fascinating to see that happen and portrayed in such an emotive way through beautiful drawing.

4) Lastly, I saw you special mention Jeanne as one of the characters in the L&L you like. I know you already have a liking for her, but I'm curious on the specific traits that you like about her. She's stubborn, which reminds me of me, and, I think, quite vulnerable, which leads me to think is why she takes her role/job so seriously.

And now for the big one...Did you win NaNoWriMo? >:D I didn't enter NaNoWriMo.

Do you prefer writing, reading, or critiquing? (or sewing :3) In order of preference, reading/sewing, writing and, finally, critiquing.

Sewing, knitting, or crocheting? Thought this one might be obvious, but you never know :D I go through a cycle of sewing and knitting. I love them both equally, but I can't devote time to both of them at once. I can't actually crochet, though I'd love to know how.

What's your favorite month? September, because it's my birthmonth.

Are you working on anything now? :O Storywise? Yes, I have a narrative called I Want To Be Happy. I've got loads of little craftsy products lined up to work on as well.

Word association game~

Cereal. SChocolate.

Weekly forecast. Moon.

1) Why are your chains made of cake? Because Portal.

3) What's the most rewarding part about being an L&L ArchKnight? Helping peeps.

4) Who is your favorite author, and why? At the moment, it's George R.R Martin, because the world he has built surpasses Lord of The Rings in scope and complexity, imo.

5) What day is today? Why sir, it's today!

6) If you had one wish, what would you wish for? A genie and a memory flash from the film MIB.

7) Why is a raven like a writing desk? Hatter, why is a raven like a writing desk?

8) Do you like Pokemon? If you do, which one is your favorite? Remember who you're talking to while you're answering this question. I can't Pokemons. *sadface* I'm such a crap geek.

Well, can't really think of anymore questions at the moment. I can't wait to read the rest of I Want To Be Happy, even though I know that I'm probably going to need some Kleenexes to get through it. Good luck with your new position! *Tips hat* It's proving more difficult that I thought to write. For now, I'm just hashing out various mind maps to get me started on the story proper.
