Alright, while me and my friend got excited for the war rally (which is the only reason that is keeping me playing this war as a legionnaire), we found this:

This is usually the damage that a normal bomb should do, between 77 - 104 damage. Yet:

I dealt 49 damage with a normal bomb which is nowhere near 77 damage. I tried with different bombs, and I mean by that, bombs that I got them before the war rally, and bombs that I got them within the war rally hour, plus bombs that I got from war commander. Still same damage. I also tried super and normal bombs.

My friend Fahim cleared his cache, reloaded the game, nothing has changed. Is it a visual bug?

It might be a visual bug, as according to the latest patch note, it is indicated that war rallies no longer increase damage dealt by bombs, but increases the drop chance of them (Which is absurd and kinda bad move).

This is a screenshot taken of the notification when war rallies occur, it says "DROP RATE", which means this is a visual bug. But to be honest, I see no change in drop chance, which is absurd really. Just bring back the damage increase, FAR better.

Most likely a visual bug seeing as the design notes mentioned that the extra damage from war rallies was removed and was replaced with an increased drop rate.

Which is a bad move TBH. I don't know how they came up with such idea. Why not implement both. But well, this system as a whole is ruined, so... whatever.

The drop rate is veeery low as well, I've been playing for 41 minutes and 1 super bomb, like really? What is this? the drop rate is bugged too? I mean end the war already guys. There is really no need of keeping it in-game.

According to the latest patch notes ( =ED= January 22, 2016 - Patch Notes - 1.6.58) - there have been a few changes made to war rallies, in terms of how it benefits the respective alignment.

War Rally no longer provides increased influence gain from using bombs, but as shown in the screenshots of the OP - the text clearly displays in bold, green, that a damage bonus is currently active because of the war rally - however when you use a bomb, you do not gain influence in accordance with the influence outlined as green/bold in-game. I believe this is a visual bug, and should be fixed swiftly as it is misleading and will cause confusion as to whether war rallies actually provide increased influence or not.

I would also like to ask that the developers check the notification message that pops up at the bottom left corner when a war rally starts, which states that both the increased influence and drop rate is active in the war rally - which isn't correct, as the latest patch removed the bonus influence increase from war rallies. (I was not able to take a screenshot of this notification, as it disappeared shortly after).*

If I recall correctly, previous wars featured both increased drop rate and influence during war rallies. Ultimately, this patch has somewhat nerfed war rallies by removing the influence bonus, and then attempted to balance it by increasing the drop rate of bombs during a war rally.

The war rally has been nerfed in the times where legions need it the most. I mean this is weird really.
I've been playing for a whole hour to get 2 super bombs. I could do even better with a war commander equiped. So these war rallies don't add up anything to legions. Hence why exiles are ahead of legions by double, in the very first day of war.
- More players.
- Botters.
- Heavy spenders (Top 5 in war leaderboards for exiles are gifters).
- And now a nerf to war rally.

What else?
At least implement my idea, only damage from bombs earned from battles between exiles and legions should count towards the war bar.
Now we see exile players playing against each other, earning bombs, earning damage and influence by basically fighting each other, in a win-win war. This is really absurd.

My guess is that they did it because in previous wars that extra damage during the war rallies actually caused the side who didn't get it to lose. The overlord facility is an excellent example of this.

Well it has been almost a year since a war has occured, things have changed. Plus Exiles won 7 out of 9 wars. This says a lot.

This war will do nothing but make more and more players, especially legions, quit the game. It is a sad thing really.

Another reason why they should have never removed flags & influence every battle you win. There is no skill being displayed with these war formats.

It is a clever move from the devs as wars could be manipulated alot in the past during war rallys with the
increased damage during a war rally. First by buying and releasing massive ammounts of war items during
a war rally with varium and secondary with alts that got stocked up with 10 war items between the war rallys
which then got used during war rallys.

Currently, we are in different circumstances, first of all, war rally now is strongly associated with legions, as there is a 1.5 million difference in damage. That's first of all. So this nerf indirectly made legions even fall behind.
Second of all, yes, it was a smart move, but on behalf of who? All players are affected, those who buy super bombs, and those who don't. The solution could've been more smart by making war rally increase damage of normal bombs only, while super war bombs remain inaffected by increase. This way, war commander will get an indirect buff too, but a buff to help legions only, as any direct buff to war commander will help exiles too.

Is so missing the fix what the Legion have the war rally to increasing the war drop, +15% chance for drop war item, and +20% chance to drop the super war item, is not the increasing the damage. Is increasing the rate for improves to drop war item in PvPs.
