Unity Squad Moglin

Ranged Fire pet/guest, 0.4 base lean and -10 accuracy lean. Toggles between a +5% damage MC (default) and paying 25% damage and MC (so 12% Melee for pet) to, after attacking, attempt a 1-turn -12.24 MRM DefLoss on the foe. This doesn't require a hit, we've got 12% Melee, which is worth -7.2 MRM, 50% save puts it to -14.4, the fact it doesn't need a hit means x0.85, so we end up with -12.24 MRM. This has a 50% save, inflicts with CHA/LUK vs mob's END/LUK. Everything is basically x1.5 for the guest version, so -16.36 MRM DefLoss. Also has Z versions at Lv 31/85/143 costing 737/2409/5940 tokens, respectively.

Primordial Defender

Wind/Earth pet, randomly deals Wind or Earth damage, charges up for 2 turns and then attacks on the 3rd turn. The random element normally allows for x1.2 damage since Wind/Earth are allied elements, but on this pet it instead reduces enemy damage to x1.33/1.4 (basically the same effect that the Chiaro Symbiote gave, since the Light/Dark effect is x1.2 normally, and a similar "reduce enemy damage instead of boosting pet attack damage" deal, turns out it was getting triple potency what it SHOULD have given since the effect was based on taking effect every 3 turns, but was being applied every turn, so 2014 Kam was a derp).

When it does attack, it does a 2-hit attack for x3 damage (120% Melee, yes this means anything that boosts pet damage gets x3 effect on it for the attacking turn), and attempts to inflict a 3-turn -(25 x MobEleRes x Hits / 2) BtH Blind on the mob, with MobEleRes being the average of the enemy's Wind/Earth resistance, and a similar 3-turn -25 BtH Blind on the player. Effects such as Blind/Choke that hinder your attacks have a difference of 40% Melee between player and mob, so the pet deals -33% damage to pay for this. This effect inflicts with CHA/LUK vs DEX/LUK for the mob Blind, and VStat/LUK vs DEX/LUK for the player Blind, 50% save. The Chiaro Symbiote pet has been updated to work similarly to this, but retains its x1.2/1.4 multiplier to monster damage, and checks average of mob Light/Dark resist instead.

Also has Z versions at Lv 31/85/143 costing 737/2409/5940 tokens, respectively.

Sea Turtle Defender

Water pet, randomly does two attacks, one doing 1 hit, the other doing 3 hits, 50% chance for each. MC toggles between two modes, both modes pay MC and half pet damage (22% Melee) and will apply either +(15.53 x MobWaterRes x Hits / Attempts) MRM DefBoost (default mode) or -(22 x MobWaterRes x Hits / Attempts / 1.4)% DmgTkn EleShield, both lasting 1 turn. If used with the shield and armour of the set, the effects are boosted to +(18.35 x stuff) MRM DefBoost and -(26 x stuff)% DmgTkn EleShield.

Griffin and Patriot Griffin updates. Griffin has been made to scale, and both now work like Patriot Griffin, toggling between +5% damage MC attack that does 2 hits, and a 3 hit attack that sacrifices MC and 50% damage (22% Melee) to attempt a <Hits> turn -(10.5 x MobEleRes) BtH Blind. Inflicts with CHA/LUK vs DEX/LUK, 50% save.

Soooo I was updated the old Ninja Lawyer Assassins guest and noticed that it (a gold item) was more powerful than Shadowy Hedgemog (a Token item): NLA's top attack did +40% damage for 5% GP, while SH did +30% damage for 3.75% GP. We talked it over and decided that we'd make NLA's big attack a status attack instead.

Ninja Lawyer Assassins

MC Darkness guest. Costs SP. Comes with 3 attacks:
  • Red Tape: Two hits, Darkness Melee, -40% total damage. Costs COST1 gold per attack. Leaves your foe Choked (-33.6*[DarkRes]% damage, 3 turns). The mob can resist with a save at a -20 penalty* (inflict with CHA/LUK, resist with DEX/LUK).
  • Red Tape: Two hits, Darkness Melee, -40% total damage. Costs COST1 gold per attack. Leaves your foe Choked (-30.3*[DarkRes]% damage, 2 turns). The mob can resist with a save at a -20 penalty* (inflict with CHA/LUK, resist with DEX/LUK).
  • Motion to Strike: One hit, Darkness Melee, +5 BTH lean, -40% total damage. Costs COST1 gold per attack. Leave your foe Bleeding (0.34 modifier). The mob can resist with a save at a -20 penalty* (inflict with CHA/LUK, resist with END/LUK).
  • Aid & Abet: Three hits, Darkness Melee, +10 BTH lean, -50% total damage. Damage is skewed 50% / 25% / 25% instead of 33% / 33% / 33%. Costs COST2 gold per attack. Inflicts EleVuln (Darkness, 2 turns, +67.7*[DarkRes]% damage). The mob can resist with a save at a -20 penalty* (inflict with CHA/LUK, resist with END/LUK).
  • Aid & Abet: Three hits, Darkness Melee, +10 BTH lean. -30% total damage. Damage is skewed 50% / 25% / 25% instead of 33% / 33% / 33%. Costs COST2 gold per attack. Inflicts EleVuln (Darkness, 1 turn, +63.2*[DarkRes]% damage). The mob can resist with a save at a -20 penalty* (inflict with CHA/LUK, resist with END/LUK).

*MC: saves are at -20 instead of +0.

From the Nemesis MC quest: Nemesis Guardian. Kam says:

Ice pet, 1/3 base lean. MC toggles between two modes, default being a simple +5% DmgDlt, status mode it pays 50% of pet damage (so 20% Melee) to attempt a 1 turn (20 x Hits / 2)% Melee Ice Poison that heals you = to damage dealt. MC puts this at a -20 penalty to the save instead of a neutral one, inflicts with CHA/LUK vs mob's END/LUK. If using the shield/armour from the set, gains +10% DmgDlt in damage mode, while in status mode, the Poison now has a base of (24 x Hits / 2)% Melee.

Update to the Ninja Lawyer Assassins: whoops, forgot that this is a guest, not a weapon >< I've lowered the Choke and EleVuln values to fix this. See above post.

    Numbers for nerds:
Red Tape: Pays 40% attack damage plus enough gold to be worth 20% guest damage for a total of 60% guest = 36% Melee total worth of Choke. 36% Melee /1.4 [Melee->Monster] /0.85 [accuracy] /2 [turns] /0.5 [save] => -60.5% worth of Choke, so -30.25% for 2 turns.

Aid & Abet: Pays 30% attack damage plus enough gold to be worth 40% guest damage for a total of 70% guest = 42% Melee worth of EleVuln. 42% Melee /1.4  [Melee->Monster /0.95 [accuracy] /1 [turns] /0.5 [save] -> +63.2% worth of EleVuln. That for 1 turn.

    Snapping Turtle Terror

Water pet, randomly does two attacks, one doing 1 hit, the other doing 3 hits, 50% chance for each. MC toggles between two modes, both modes pay half pet damage (20% Melee). By default, the pet is in DefLoss mode, where it passively lowers enemy MRM vs Water attacks by -5.1 for 4 turns, with a 50% save. This doesn't require a hit, and is passively attempted after the pet acts. 5% Melee is worth +3 BtH for the player's side, so 20% Melee is worth +12 BtH for the player's side, x0.85 since it doesn't require a hit, x2 due to the save, and /4 for it lasting 4 turns, so we get -5.1 MRM. EleVuln mode attempts a +(14.29 x Hits / Attempts)% Water EleVuln for 2 turns. Both of these normally would have a 50% save, but MC bonus is used to apply a -20 penalty to the saves instead, inflicting with CHA/LUK, with the DefLoss being resisted by the mob's CHA/LUK (the turtle is scaring them into lowering their guard), and the EleVuln being resisted by the mob's END/LUK. If in the armour/shield of the Mermazon set, the DefLoss and EleVuln use 24% Melee base (so they become 20% stronger, pretty much), so the DefLoss becomes -6.12 MRM for 4 turns, and the EleVuln becomes +(17.14 x Hits / Attempts)% DmgTkn.

    Wingweaver Zephare

Wind pet, toggles between two modes. By default, applies Nourishing Winds effects to the player, renamed Regen that heals the player's MP and SP for (RegenBase x MobWindRes)% Melee each per turn (RegenBase being 4.25% Melee, and then another (4.25 x PlayerCHA / AssumedCHA)% Melee, with the CHA-based bit being capped at 4.675% Melee), for 2 turns, doing this instead of doing damage (40% Melee, split between MP and SP, and then split between 2 turns, so 10% Melee each, then x0.85 since it auto-hits. The Wind Res bit ensures it's not always useful, and doesn't need the x0.9 penalty). Can be toggled to a damage mode by clicking its head, this costs 20% Melee in SP to have the pet deal +50% damage.

If you click the body, it will enter Zeal-building mode, this halves the potency of the regen mode and loses 20% Melee worth of damage in the damage mode (so basically the damage is neutral and the SP cost is being used to pay for the Zeal stack instead). Each turn this is done it builds a stack of Zephare Zeal, with a maximum of 10 stacks (so each worth 20% Melee, max of 200% Melee in power). If at max stacks, it'll stop building stacks, as well as stop lowering its potency/damage.

If its body is clicked again and it doesn't re-enter Zeal-building mode, its next attack gains bonus potency worth 20% Melee per stack of Zeal, and it can consume up to 5 Zeal stacks at once. So the Regen heals (RegenBase x MobWindRes x (Zeal / 2))% Melee per turn, and the damage mode deals +20% damage per Zeal stack. Zeal stacks can only be gained when the mob is 20 levels below you or higher, if this isn't the case then the pet doesn't lose potency/damage and doesn't build stacks. Stacks carry over across battles.

if using the shield and misc from the set, then the pet deals +10% damage in the damage mode, and adds an extra 0.85% Melee to the regen in the Nourishing Winds mode.

    Call/Summon Frostshot Cannon

Ice call/summon guest. Works a bit differently from others in that it takes a turn to load the shot, and then fires the shot on the next turn. It stores if the shot's been loaded between fights. It charges no SP/MP on the turn when it's loading, but double when it fires. Due to the delay, the base damage of this attack is 201% of normal, previous turn's damage gets a 1% boost due to the delay. MC effect is a straight +5% damage, nothing unusual otherwise.

MC Energy pet, Attack is two hits, Magic Energy.

MC: One per battle, you can click on it to have it do a special attack (on its turn). The attack does -22.3% damage. If both hits connect, then the monster is Hypersalinated (stunned, Water resist increased by Energy res *1.5) for one turn. The monster can resist with a save at a -20 penalty (inflict with CHA/LUK, resist with END/LUK).

MC Melee Water pet. Attack is two hits. -5 BTH lean.

After the attack, the monster's Energy resistance is increased by +(0.04*85/80*[monster current Water resistance]*[hits connected]) percentage points, rounded randomly. The monster's Energy resistance cannot be increased beyond [monster's base Water resistance] in this way. The monster can resist with a save (inflict with CHA/LUK, resist with STR/LUK).

Summon/Call Valentis & Nickelclad Storm Owl

Energy guest/pet, MC toggles between two modes. The default mode has it pay half of its damage and MC (22% Melee total), and do a 2-hit attack. For each hit of this that lands, it'll heal your HP for 11% Melee, modified by the enemy's Energy resistance. It doesn't have the always useful penalty since it's affected by Energy res, and it doesn't have the auto-hit penalty since it requires landing hits with the attack. The secondary mode pays 25% of damage (so deals -20% damage since MC mitigates 5% of this, total value is 10% Melee) to passively inflict the mob with +(12.5 x PlayerCHA/AssumedCHA)% Heal resistance, making their healing weaker, maximum allowed is 110% of the base value, so 13.75 for the pet. This is also affected by the Dunamis-style outleveling formula, with a 20-level buffer. Guest version of this gets x1.5 to everything.

MC Water guest. Click to toggle between:
    - 2 hits, Water Magic. Takes -50% damage and inflicts Poison (Water, 3 rounds, power:2*[hits]/[attempts]). The mob can resist with a save at a -20 penalty* (inflict with CHA/LUK, resist with END/LUK).
    - 1 healing hit. *0.85*0.9 damage, also takes -50% damage and gives you +19.8 Status Resistance** to all statuses. The status resistance scales equally off your CHA and END.

  • 2 hits, Wind Magic, deals x0.2 damage and you heal SP equal to the damage dealt *9/2. Drain is capped at 64% of a standard Melee skill (253 SP at lv150) MC: +5% damage.

Wind pet, 0.2 base damage lean and neutral accuracy lean. Has a 3-hit and 2-hit attack, randomly chosen. Normally does -10% damage, but if foe has Blind or Berserk active, deals +20% damage instead. MC is that it has a 5% chance per turn to grant itself one turn of Pet Celerity. If used with the armour and shield of the set, this chance triples to 15%.

Also has Lv 31/85/125/143 Z Token versions, costing 737/2409/4620/5940 tokens each.

    Winter Warden's Abominite

Ice pet, has two attacks you can toggle between, each having two hits. Default attack sacrifices half pet damage (20% Melee) to attempt to inflict 2 turns of (20 x Hits / 2)% Melee Ice Burn. Second attack also sacrifices half pet damage to attempt to inflict 2 turns of -(16.81 x MobIceRes x Hits / 2)% DmgDlt Choke. Both inflict with CHA/LUK vs mob's END/LUK, and have a -20 penalty to the save as MC effect. If in the armour/shield of the Winter Warden set, then these effects gain a 20% boost (since they go from 20% Melee to 24% Melee), so (24 x Hits / 2)% Melee Burn, and -(20.17 x MobIceRes x Hits / 2)% DmgDlt Choke.

    quote:

Fire pet. Neutral damage and accuracy leans. Toggles between two modes, by default has simple +5% damage, can toggle to sacrifice 25% of pet damage + MC (12% Melee) to activate Searing Parry mode. Unlike other parry pets, this mode doesn't boost your block rate, instead when you block an attack and this mode is active, the pet will attempt to inflict a 2-turn 20% Melee Fire Burn, this effect can activate up to 4 times per turn. This inflicts with CHA/LUK vs mob's DEX/LUK, has a neutral save.

    Lunar Wood Dragon

Earth pet, neutral damage/accuracy leans. MC pays for the pet having a x1.5 LUKy Strike chance (so 15%). Toggles between two modes, one is a damage mode that randomly does a 2-hit or 3-hit attack, while the other is a healing mode that has the usual x0.85 for not requiring a hit, but it doesn't have the x0.9 always useful because the healing is affected by the mob's resistance to Earth.

    Twilight Chibi Loco

Darkness clone of Chibi Loco. Magic pet, 8 elemental versions, 0.9 random lean. During the month of April, becomes MCed for everyone. Outside of April it's MCed for Guardians. During April, the MC effect is triple strength. MC effect is a bonus +0% to +10% damage per hit. This bonus is tripled during April, so during April it can deal anywhere from +0% - +30% damage, outside of April it's just +0% - +10% damage, and only for Guardians.
