ED for the Rest of the Year, What would you like to see?

Leave a comment below.

I promise you important will be listening and reading comments and may just be implemented in game. So choose your words carefully :)

I would like to see heal loop support TM make a comeback BUTT not be OP. AND have lots of builds compete it with.

I WOULD LIKE TO SEE ALL great, legendary builds in ED history make a comeback but not cripple the game, but make it super fun, keeping everything balanced.

Also, luck being slightly further nerfed would be great!!

I WOULD LIKE TO SEE way more reusable cores like the new Frozen Rift promo core because too many one time use cores forces them to be more powerful to see relevance in pvp and thus threatening balance with every new core released. With much more reusable cores being released, we can make sure they aren't as powerful as one time use cores, because of course, they're reusable!! Cores getting too powerful will shorten and shorten battles far too much, as we're seeing today!

I would like to see REMOVABLE CORES

PvP Getting faster would be great! A new "fast mode" where you can speed up animations or reduce our timers would be great. (e.g. reduce 15 sec to make a move to 10, or 7 sec, or even 2!). And only those who active "fast mode" will play each other. Everyone else will be in a different battle waiting room.

I don't know what I would want to see (I like to be surprised), but I can tell you what I don't want to see.

-No more P and E versions of weapons. For example, I'm sure people would prefer an update with 2 unique swords and a gun rather than 8 P/E very similar swords and 4 P/E guns. Quality is better than quantity. And even if one weapon is beautiful it is completely devalued by other 3 very similar variants.

-No more CC and non-CC armors/vehicles. What is the point of making non-CC items, when did this even become a thing and why? Is this because artists want you to experience the colours that were imagined for that specific item or is it because they can get 2 items for the price of one?

-No more lazy names with years ("2019") in the name. Any silly name is better than one with a date in it.

One thing that I think was a really good idea is the "Rare" items that are put in a shop for a while and are gone for ever (for example the swords in NW's shop). A lot of the remaining players are collectors of unique weapons and achievements and I'm sure they love to collect "Rare" weapons. (I don't think they even remotely care about new seasonal-rares as much as they do about rares)

Also, if they wanted to generate some more varium purchases during the year and at the same time create a decent credit sink for post-gifting people, they could re-introduce War Kills leaderboard (this would be a separate competition, not affecting the war in any way (or in an extremely limited way if they balance it properly)). Add some achievements related to war kills and players would probably be excited about a new leaderboard.

Agreed 8x, avoiding a lot of the bad stuff definitely makes a difference!

I'd like to see some new classes as well tbh :) - I know that'd be a tonne to do but lol let's see.

Forget new classes (not going to happen), new weapons (we're drowning in them), new cores (as the weapons, so the cores), and even wars.

What I'd love to see is new work on the story. New characters or areas, new ideas from a sadly small, but sometimes frighteningly talented team.

If 2020 marks the resurgence of Epicduel, it will be because of new development in the story or the lore, not because of new shinies that cost varium or grinding.
Hell, new game representations of tanks or chess or whatever- I'd love to be able to decorate Faction Headquarters, or buy defenses that boost progress in a war. Anything new, ED. Anything.

Beep Beep! ArchKnight AQ / ED

I truly believe 2020 will bring what is needed to Epic Duel, we have very talented artists as we have been shown time and time again. You can see the passion in their work for this game, and others.

Fingers crossed if all goes with bringing Titan back that could very well be the spark we need to bring back larger updates, filled with (possibly) new mechanics, systems and alike.

Possibilites are vast if this were to be the case, it's just food for thought at the moment and just have to wait and see what develops with Artix later down the line, it will not be a short process I'm sure, but one that could be worth the wait.
