Hello there, aqw team, pae00 here.

I was so excited after seeing the buff that Drudgen the assistant, crag and bamboozle got. I spent 10,000 AC getting them both and the quests they had before was trash really and now when the update came the money spent was definietly worth it! Then they decided to change the quest "Diamond Exchange" which has always THROUGHOUT the years been 3x Diamonds of nulgath and in the later years also a Nulgath rune 9 required to get 1 Unidentified 13 to complete the quest. And now they decided to NERF it again making it even harder to complete. Now you need 15x diamonds of nulgath and 1 nulgath rune 9 which is completly nonsense, the quest is useless now. You ruined everything that was good with the buff and I am beyond disappointed in you, aqw team, for making that nerf. 15x diamonds for 1 uni 13, do you hear how stupid that is? 5x diamonds would have been acceptable BUT NOT 15x. Quest name: "Diamond exchange" when it should be "Become bankrupt" or "Soul exchange" also "Spend 5k AC for nothing". These were examples for what the quest's name should be. I hope you'll consider changing the quest because currently its beyond unacceptable for what you have done. 5x diamonds would be logical, not 15x.

Kind regards,
pae00

there was a post on the aqw subreddit that showed a bug/exploit which allowed players to loop the buffed quests to gain infinite gold (titled 5k acs = infinite gold) + various nulgath reagents in the process

so yeah, the nerf was kinda neccessary, i think the whole fiasco could've been avoided if the aqw team was a bit more careful, but this was not really intended by them (some people were calling it a scam) and was only done to fix the exploit

still, pretty sure it's an overall buff, diamonds are way easier to farm now compared to when the quest was first designed, and in the very same update they also buffed various sources for getting diamonds such as spin the wheel, the assistant, nulgath larvae, and you also get straight up get 30 diamonds for free everyday, so the nerf is quite minor in comparison imho

I'm not saying it wasn't necessary but they went way overhead when they put the limit to 15x Diamonds for 1 Uni 13 when it should've been 5x or at max 10x Diamonds, just remove all the gold you get for turning in the quests and you would never have been able to get infinite gold by having both drudgen and crag and bam. They made a stupid f decision and they definitely shouldn't have capped it to 15x diamonds. That's just dumb and completly ruins the quest. I don't care about the gold, just f remove it. I want the reagents for a decent price and 15x diamonds is not decent, that's making the buff undone.
