Hiyas agains Afina!

Did you know I survived through my teacher's tedious teachings of tad too much torturous Alegbra? Well, at least six hours worth since Monday..and that will only increase....XP Pooh. (and Tigger too!)

No, but it almost did when I was building my nation for the world builder here.

No pets? Awwwww.....You should get a cat. They are adorable and so little as a kitten, and when they are older, they prove to be excellent mousers (and other rodents of various species) and they get rid of alot of bugs.
Can't, Asthma's to bad, animals just make it hard for me to breath.

It is said that one can learn a lot from people's homes. What is on your nightstand?
Copy of Ballad of the Sad cafe, lamp and some dried rose petals from roses my husband gace me.

Do you like art and if so, what sort of things do you like on your walls?
I love Art, but most of what I have hanging on my walls are pictures my husband (a photographer) took of my daughter. I do have one peice of art I love, a sun set and a single tree that my fahter in law painted when he was alive.

Favorite comic book hero?
Never been a huge comic book fan, but I would have to say Superman

Do you like to cook and if so, most difficult dish you ever made?
I love to cook! I really don't know about difficult, but probably the one I remember having the hardest time with was cornbread - yes corn bread. My great grand mother taught me how when I was around 6 years of age in her home - she still lived like it was the 1800's. It was a wood burning stove.

What is your family heritage?
I am extremely mixed though I do not look it. Mostly scandinavian though.


Published anything? (I am a novelist too, so have to ask).
Yes, I have 3 books of poetry published of my own works. I am also published in 2 books with other poets and one of my poems was on Cd a few years ago. Working on a series of fantasy novels now.


Anything heirloom in your home?
One stands out the most, a king james bible that was my great, great, great, great great grandmothers from back during the civil war. It has been passed down from mother to daughter since.


How much traveling have you done and countries outside the continental U.S?
A lot when I was younger. I used to have to travel a lot because I was a matrial artist and competed all over the place. Haven't been anywhere recently though.

Hey Afina, me again. About the last thing I said on my last post... I had no idea what I was doing, as my brain has shut down for the holidays.


OK, on to a group of question's I have asked just about every AK whom I have questioned...

Have you ever heard of Suzi Quatro? If so, have you seen her latest concert, 'Born to Rock'?
Actually I haven't, mind letting me know if I should get a hold of some of her music?

She's a 70's rock artist, and one of the best 70's bass guitarists I've ever heard. She's a must for any music fan.

Have you seen the three 'Smokey and the Bandit' movies?
Years ago when I was very young. lol I couldn't tell you a thing about them I hardly remember that long ago.


If so, which was the best/worse? (Heh, I could tell you the answer to the 'worst', but everyone's entitled to an opinion...)

Smokey and the Bandit 3... Worst movie I have ever seen, period. 1 and 2 were both good though. Can't decide which one was the best.
