I do want to thank the staff for putting this together.

It really adds something to the game as a way to tie various things together. Especially the meet the staff with Nel. Really personifies the people working on the game to the average user. And it also lets the players see how ideas of the game evolve and are considered.

Keep up the good work.

Fisto -> RE: =Zardian= The Ezine board is Live! (9/20/2007 14:44:15)

I really enjoy these Zardian Issues. The staff is doing a phenominal job. Keep up the great work and I always look forward to more of those yummy tasting recipes.

3 Cheers for AQ: Hip hip hooray, hip hip hooray, hip hip hooray.

Arc -> RE: =Zardian= The Ezine board is Live! (9/20/2007 15:03:40)

Ah yes!
The Amazing Zardian has finally got his own board!

Draxx -> RE: =Zardian= The Ezine board is Live! (9/20/2007 15:25:19)

Keep up the good work whit the Zardian .... I love the "Sneak Peek" section [:D]

boomies -> RE: =Zardian= The Ezine board is Live! (9/20/2007 15:34:11)

I enjoy these Zardians very much, and im glad they made a new forum for it...I especially like the Sneak Peaks, but I dont like the recepies very much.

Scholar class actually sounds powerful! Well, at least we know what it does now.

Rimblade -> RE: =Zardian= The Ezine board is Live! (9/20/2007 16:02:56)

Aww, who could hate the Zardian?

I don't think ya should expect *too* much from a base class in any case, and I would defend the recipes, if they were'nt a matter of... er.... taste.
I appriciate the variety of articles offered especially. Very nice!
Lastly, I beg of you, use a silly Zard logo! What better way to show the nobility of the mighty Zard? [8|]

Avro -> RE: =Zardian= The Ezine board is Live! (9/20/2007 16:33:19)

Awesome, new issue is out! i don't read it much, but whatever >.<

Clyde -> RE: =Zardian= The Ezine board is Live! (9/20/2007 16:33:46)

This Ezine is Bad....Bad ass that is. [;)]

Baker -> RE: =Zardian= The Ezine board is Live! (9/20/2007 17:39:38)

Already posted something like this in the Editors Note thread, but I'll say it here, too. :P I think this is a great idea, and that it'll be a good place to get to know all the Zardian staff and learn more about it, in addition to y'all being able to train future Zardian slaves employees. ;)

Enzik -> RE: =Zardian= The Ezine board is Live! (9/20/2007 18:19:03)

Although the current layout of the Zardian works, I think I'd rather see it in book form/newspaper form.
I know I always want to see things like that in book form, but that book coding is fantastic.

But I definitely like the new board. It deserves its own.

Frayzer -> RE: =Zardian= The Ezine board is Live! (9/21/2007 11:24:28)

Great, lovely this board. It makes the Zardian look important =D

Varin -> RE: =Zardian= The Ezine board is Live! (9/21/2007 17:42:51)

Well, Frayzer, that is because we at the Zardian make the Zardian important. ;)

Glad to have a place where the community can connect with our authors. Please be welcome to chat freely here, suggestions, questions, comments, I'll try to be available when needed!

Be well and happy adventuring!

EragonZZZZ -> RE: =Zardian= The Ezine board is Live! (9/21/2007 18:03:56)

I'm most happy to see this board created - kudos to all the authors and layout people :D

Oh, and Varin, I love how your articles always have headings in alliteration. Quite amusing, if I do say so myself.

(PS - Nice helicopter; who drew it?)

Varin -> RE: =Zardian= The Ezine board is Live! (9/21/2007 18:37:21)

Thanks! Although, only my Notably Novel News articles are alliterated, kind of a hook so to speak, and amusing to come up with.

As for the Helicopter, unsure who drew it, but Reens made it crash land. ;)

--Varin

Edit: Forgot to mention, Reens also made my Avatar. She's so handy that one!
*awww* *blushes*

Zelgadis -> RE: =Zardian= The Ezine board is Live! (9/21/2007 20:42:01)

Oh wow, the Zardian will definetly grow in popularity now. And I'm glad the forumites can discuss it in it's own designated area. And I think it'd be a good idea to bend the "Meet the AK' topics into "Meet the Author" ones.

TreadLight -> RE: =Zardian= The Ezine board is Live! (9/21/2007 21:57:24)

Oh goodness gratious! The Zardian finally got a board!

I'm really hyped up for any new hints or clues to the Truth saga, and Classes also.

I'm really glad you guys are doin' this too, keep up the awesome work!

Zelgadis -> RE: =Zardian= The Ezine board is Live! (9/21/2007 22:07:17)

Darn multi-faceted individuals. Since the Zardian now has it's own space on the forums, what kind of influence will the individual forumite have on the e-zine?

Naturally. I knew someone would say constructive criticism, and I'm glad. I hope it gets people interested in the zine.

Varin -> RE: =Zardian= The Ezine board is Live! (9/21/2007 22:25:24)

Zelgadis:
I am unsure about other authors, but with me, if I see a suggestion I like here, and I have a free slot to write an article, I may just go ahead and do an article on that. Also, feedback is good. If I find that a type of article of mine is liked more than another, I may do more of one and less of the other. Feedback is wonderful. Although, please keep it as constructive criticism, pure bashing is never tolerated and a violation of the rules. That does not mean that you can not say that you dislike an article, but tell why you dislike it and possibly give suggestions. That kind of criticism is very much appreciated by myself.

So to sum up your question, depending on the author, and the ideas, possibly a big one!

--Varin

smbdoll -> RE: =Zardian= The Ezine board is Live! (9/22/2007 4:38:13)

Actually, I did Varin's helicoptor. At the moment, Reens and I do the majority of the Zardian's art. But we're still looking for a primary artist, so keep those submissions coming. Please remember that submissions need to be done in Flash and sent to ezine@battleon.com and that artists will need to submit work on demand.

EragonZZZZ -> RE: =Zardian= The Ezine board is Live! (9/22/2007 12:50:40)

Would it be *possible* to, instead of having a person as actual staff, just someone who technically donates art for the Zardian to either use or not use? Sort of like this contest?
If that gets around any legal barriers, I'd be happy to help you guys out there.

oh, and thats a most excellent helicopter smb :D

EDIT: an email has been sent.

smbdoll -> RE: =Zardian= The Ezine board is Live! (9/23/2007 9:23:57)

I'm sorry EragonZZZZ, but this contest is an exception, not the rule. There's no room on the team for someone who doesn't want to contribute on a deadline. I've already had to turn down an offer like this from an exceptional artist. The problem with freelance contributors is that they're never available when they are really and truly needed. The Zardian needs contributors that can be counted on to provide material often enough for our publications.

EragonZZZZ -> RE: =Zardian= The Ezine board is Live! (9/23/2007 10:23:48)

Oh, okay, 'twas just an idea. Thanks for looking at it anyway.
It's not that I'd not want to contribute on a deadline, it's that I'm not old enough to legally do so. So in essence it was a workaround that used an apparently non-existent loophole.

My apologies.
