i remember when the ASR was the highest hitting weapon..
people had screenies of a critical hit of 72.. now THAT was awesome...
at the time of solunas release i didnt feel like farming, and so by the time i got my 100k for the DMR, there were better alternatives..
but part of the best bits were the knightron SE v. DMR v. ESD discussions..
those were some of the best.. its good to see the knightron resurrected

and before all of this on the dropship... disappointed that i couldnt get the CSR.
and roliths ultimate power when using two of them..
he didnt need a weapon to hit 200+; back then all it took were powered up CSR's

WAY overpriced mechs and WAY lower damage were fun. Also much more dieing back then...sooo much more dieing...

I remember when the Alien Star Ray was the best weapon ever, and how even before that the Crusader's Shining Repeater turned you into a god.

So, naturally, while everyone else was farming for those I was throwing myself out into space to get a helmet. :P

Getting the helmet, smokey flamethrower glitch, seeing the pizza mech saying "Omg! That looks so cool!" Cruader's Shining Repeater... the lis goes on.

When my "uber" setup was Crusader's Shining Repeater, Dragontooth Chaingun, Star-striker head, and the N-00B missile x4 on a hard to get Newbatron v.1337

Also remembered the Smokey Flame Thrower being a death-cannon

getting through the Mecharoni thing before the uniform buffs.

when Lars was impossible to kill.

Cooldowns didn't exist for opponents. (I hated everyone in PVP who had a level 5 or level 8 Electron Sniper...)

The Knightron SE cost 130000.

the First Shady war. (racked up a lot of kills in that).

I miss when rifle master was a boss and the game was 4 screens and several battle backgrounds.

Hitting level 25 on friday and unlocking my Advanced Nova Raven reminded me of how excited I was to get my first MystRaven mecha.

when we couldn't get of the ship yet , and to kill the time , i watched fairy's splat on the ship :p or when the newbatron1337 came out and the said ' a new robot will be between 20k and 30k , and when an oher new mech came out , every1 was mad , cuzz it costed more than 30k :p

I remember just logging on to my computer really excited, Warlic just announced that he was releasing Soluna City. Then, I checked the DN, just to be sure. And then I stared. And stared. Then screamed. They pushed it back a week. And then they pushed it back three days. And when Warlic really announced it, I thought it was another false alarm and then I left MQ alone for a week and a half. Then, I found out it was really, really released. Sometimes, I can still feel my vocal cords grinding up at the thought of it.

And the days when any time that I clicked the battle button, I was praying 'Not the Pupperoni, not the pupperoni.' Then it was the Pupperoni. And I died. Every single time. And whenever I tried to fight the spider, I died. Even in the Kurosawa mech, one of the first ubers. Looking back, I can still see how pathetic I was. I remember recording stuff and now, when I watch it again, I feel like crying because of how weak I was.

I remember when I started and was too weak to catch ghosts. I remember when I could farm in quests and jobs before thy all ran out.

when you struggled with the first few levels of K&S

when i got my first house mech (RH) and got irritated because of the lack of a head or body weapon. also the having to skip a turn.

I remember when i got grounded for asking my mom about becoming a star captain so i could be a founder, i asked about a 100,000 times, literally. Also i remember not being able to partipate in any of the holidays because i was on vacation or restricted : (

I remember farming ghosts. I was like "250 credits all right!" Now Ican make 8 times as much in half the time.[8D]

I was here from the day the Police Station opened. That dang Police Mech cost a lot back then! Regardless, it was my first purchased mech for 50K. The thing that finally made me burn out was the scaling. I got on at L. 10, and I had my L. 8, 130 HP mech with an average damage of 25 on one side of the screen, and on the other there was my enemy with 250 HP hitting 30's on me. I believe the game has improved a lot since then.
