Argeus the Paladin -> Developing a Marketing Mix for a Forum Story - Comment Thread (10/9/2008 20:01:32)

Hi there everyone! Argeus speaking here on a new piece of work.

This is going to be kind of an academic journal article that I write for the purpose of fun and also serves to review my marketing knowledge before the ANU final exam this November!. It may, as the other academic paper, contain disturbing language (de facto, et.al, de jure, and those along the lines) as well as contents not suitable for minors (Because marketing is hard to understand fully (My book weighs 2.6 kg!). Those deemed too innocent (i.e. not being in college or last years at hgh school), be warned.

Also, this assessment is not fully scientific, so don't treat it as a serious research or something. (Although I am trying my best to make it as close to a real journal article as possible). Ready? Set? Enjoy.

In any situation, companies worldwide had realized that investing a million on sales promotion could boost sales by some couple of hundred percent, as well as eliminating threats from outside sources and tempting consumers to buy even more.

That's the only thing I picked up in there, besides a different viewpoint on the works here, for sure. [;)]
