1. Pivot

1a. Where can I find the newest version of Pivot?
Download the latest version from here. It is in .ZIP form and it does not require installation. Scanned it for viruses 2 times so it is safe.

1b. Where can I find some good tutorials about Pivot?
Well I posted 2 big tutorials in the Gallery Q&A zone. The first one is here and the second one is here.

1c. What can I do in Pivot?
In Pivot you can animate stickmen however you like. The producer said that in the future you will be able to animate more things besides stickmen.

1d. Is Pivot easy to use?
Yes. It has a friendly-user interface wich is very very easy to use.

1e. What type of files does Pivot support?
This is a more complicated question. This is what it supports:
For Stickfigures and items to use in animations: .stk
The animation can be saved as: .piv, .gif or .bmp
For backgrounds you can use: .bmp, .jpg, .jpeg, .png and .gif

1f. What is a .piv and what is a .stk?
Well both of them are files wich can be created and viewed only by Pivot. A .piv files is an animation file wich can be viewed only with Pivot. A .stk is a file wich contains items/stickfigures to use in animations. .stks are the same as .pivs so they work only in Pivot.

2. Resources

2a. Is there any good site from wich I can take some .stks and some .pivs?
Yes. I always use files from Droidz.org because they are safe and they are good-looking.

2b. How can I use those resources?
Well you do this:
For a .piv - Files > Open Animation
For a .stk - Files > Load Figure Type
For backgrounds wich aren't .stks - Files > Load Background

3. Questions by Users
If you have any questions please ask and I or others will respond. This is to avoid useless Pivot related questions in the Q&A zone.

Does this have a real site?
Well Pivot has forums located here.

I heard that Version 2 is better. Is it true?
Well Version 2 has less bugs than version 3. But the download link in the first post has an improved version wich combines features from 2.2.5 and from 3.0 with less bugs (if any).

Can you add text to a pivot animation?
Yes, you can.

Is there any way to slow down or speed up animations?
IYes, you can either use the slider bar next to "Play" and "Stop" or you can make more frames for each action and/or movement.

In Pivot, there should be a slider bar next to "Play" and "Stop" You can adjust this to change the speed. Or you can simply make more frames for each movement. The first is easier...Trust me[;)]

Do you mean an advertisment like this one?

Because that pop-up is not an advertisment. It is a warning every time you open it that the respective version is not for public sharing. (but I got my hands on it because people obviously uploaded it and re-uploaded it many times and is now shared to the public)

Once I find a way to de-activate that, I will post here.

Or are you talking about some other kind of advertisment? If so, could you provide a screenshot?
