Okay, these are just some poems... heh, call some of them emo... that means I wrote them properly. So, let's begin?

Stalemate (Collab of Clyde and me) I'm all alone, my legion now dead My moves were all predicted Me, just one king, against an army Sixteen turns... 'til Stalemate Two steps backwards; heading in the right directions. One step forward; I've lost all good intentions. Once upon a happy time I lived for the peace. Sixteen turns... I live and wait Now I'll have to throw my own life I've lost everything, my royal wife my loyal knights, and my weakling pawns Sixteen turns... 'til Stalemate My hands blood-stained and untrustworthy. Much like the army I once controlled dearly. The feet this pain has risen from; sixty to zero. Sixteen turns... a martyr's fate My army, not the least to call "friend" Should I join them and start my end? Now, there's no one to brag to as the war hero Sixteen turns... 'til Stalemate A land of chaos; a country, lawless. Still searching for the thing that caused all this. Trying to revive a life that's been long since dead... Sixteen turns... Checkmate

Unforgivable If only I could say that I hate you But the thing is, I can’t… it’s not true You once had a place in my heart I once held dearly A struggle of thoughts… If only… If only… I don’t hate you, I never will I despise you! I want to kill! Heart and mind collide: I don’t care! My heart’s numb… I can only bear I said sorry all over and over again For a sin ranking one in a scale of ten Your sensitive feelings… pierced by a sword and shattered I guess… in your world, my feelings never mattered This feeling of despair I doubt that you care You once had a place in my heart I once held dearly A struggle of thoughts… If only… If only…

But this __________dramatic monologue, I wrote it just to purge my emotion. _______This one girl, I broke her heart not once but twice. I won’t _____blame you if you say that I have a heart of ice. ___But I have to disagree, because I seem to have lost my heart. __Incapable of ‘loving’ someone, incapable of this ‘art’. But despite _those two sins that I’ve committed, I fell for her thrice. I guess I can’t let go of her forever, but I still ended up breaking her, ignoring her cries. ___I told her that even though my heart has four chambers, there’s only ______one girl in it. But things changed, and a sin, a lie, I was subsequently _________driven to commit. But why won’t you accept it and just move ____________on? Still waiting for me to come back; too bad, I’m gone. _________________The letter you gave me before we said ‘bye’. The phrase ______________________‘a great, great, great friend’ turned to a lie. My actions are ________________________ like dominoes, bringing others down with me. ____________________________Maybe I would’ve cried… but have I lost my sympathy? ___________________________________To redeem a lie, I have to make it true. _______________________________________It could be like how it was: me and you. __________________________________________But I can’t let that happen not _____________________________________________even if I wanted to. ________________________________________________Because of what ___________________________________________________heartless thing I ________________________________________________________did to… ___________________________________________________________you.

I ran out of those beautiful words I lost those events I wanted to write about Then I forgot my language of rhymes. Words that touch the heart: I call that a poem But what is this? Self torment? I wonder what the reader would say I wonder why the reader is even here Answer me: what are you doing? Curiosity… must’ve made you want to venture under this rock But under those rocks, if there is anything… Is a dead flower if not an insect or just plain dirt... A poem of mine, I compare to a flower… what can nourish it with inspiration? The Rain… the tears she shed for me The Sun… the flames of hate that I cased to spread And the Wind… the breath they wasted in trying to convince me If what it takes to write a poem is sorrow and hatred Then it won’t the touch the heart… It will only ache it... *Untitled for a purpose... fits the theme, right?

How Do I Love You, My Rose (Blame the title on our teacher. Made us read a peom called How do I love thee, then made us make our own version) How do I love you, perhaps like transient stardust That are swallowed by darkness but always recover How do I love you, knowing that I must For my heart to continue beating as a lover How do I love you, maybe like an abyss under a storm The farthest from safety, perhaps better undone But if we just close our eyes and let nature take its form What makes it all hard, these dangers, will be gone How do I love you, to the point there’s no room for hate But humble honesty to admit any imperfection I love you, as I live, and as I can only wait I love you, my Rose, after all, your thorns cannot complete my obliteration If we were to turn our backs on one another unshaken, I’d traverse around the world just to face you once again

How Do I Love You (LoL Version) (Should've passed this one instead xD) How do I love you? Would you like me to show evidence? Then I’ll let all people under the sun know and see We can all hide from facts but never reject its existence Just like what I will do to show them that I can make you happy I’d write your name on the shore till the waves cease to make it fade Which shouldn’t take long because of global warming As heat passes through a hole in the Ozone that man made But then, you probably would not like it because I’d be sweating So then, I’d spell your name on the sky with a cloud But dark smoke from factories would conceal it I guess I’ll blow them up, making a sound so loud And together, we'll watch the fireworks the explosions emit So I guess I’ll have to write your name on paper… But wait! That would make the trees die even before winter.

*Alter Ego (Versija: Aaizvainojums)* (Version: Resentment) It appears our hearts have led us astray from one another Because of betrayal and disloyalty, my bane as a lover I have learned to forgive and love although in a different perspective But now I feel know it was just a waste to make the initiative My heart was crafted and shaped with forgiveness and compassion And perhaps too much sympathy to judge the right action I want to forget, yet I can only forgive… but I can’t Not until the other half of me is convinced by the repent There are things I want to ask you, all starting with “why” But wouldn’t it pointless? I say that I know enough based on your lie Half of me wants to forgive, though the other wants to keep the disdain And yet… both sides are still scarred with pain If only I could say that I at least loved you… But I can’t… and I wish it was never true
