^ I have a similar problem! But its that not a matter of shields not appearing. Its the shield I have. I got the insightful Armor of Awe, but it still showed the Guardian Shield. Sadly, I got the armor after the update, so that sucks![:@] I even cleared my cache![:@]

I'm currently using the new Guardian Shield, and the Armor of Awe, and the elemental resistances and the combat defenses keep randomly shifting as I equip and re-quip the shield. Additionally the resistances sometimes change when I change armors.

It seems like there's some sort of problem with the shield's stats being levelable.

Currently I have elemental resistances of -3% so enemies are unable to damage me, as every attack either misses due to the ridiculously high combat defenses, which are hovering in the neighborhood of 70, or I receive negative damage.

I like the new shield, but my guess is that invulnerability isn't supposed to be a feature.

Bug: SP healing recieves boost from generalists robes
Details: any battle, imbue lore and cast a sP healing spell.
The spell(metamorphosed water of immortality) receives boost at no cost.
Easily abusable, over 800 hp can be healed by two casts of transmogrified.

Has this bug been reported before? I don't think so; I searched for this and didn't come up with anything.

Type of bug (Game crash/blackscreen, glitch, graphical error, typo, etc.): Glitch

Bug details: The Blade of Awe appears to have 1-10 as the damage and 0% BtH. While I'm aware that the dmg displayed is not the actual damage dealt, the blade seems to be doing damage as if the stats actually are 1-10, 0% BtH.
Before bug occurred: Damage was being dealt normally.

During Bug: While fighting something 100% to Earth, with the Spear of Awe, I am doing minimal damage (I did 50 on a Lucky Strike but average damage is between 10 and 20). My STR and DEX are both 135.

After bug: N/A


Item Bugged: Blade (Spear) of Awe.
Other Equipment: Seems to be regardless of other armor/shield equipped.

My brilliant solaris blade is doing earth damage ;/ When ever I equip it, it says your weapon has been scaled you your level and I always does earth dmg. Did they intentionally change it to an earth weapon? Lol

OK, new update, it would appear that the new scaling system for the blade of awe is affecting the first weapon that you switch too when you log on. My water based bad axe is doing earth dmg as we speak XD.

theres a bug with the fireworks spear, I keep trying to push it up into my inventory, but it just won't move any higher after pushing it up by a certain height

Bug details: Awe CC does not work.
Before bug occurred: I tried to change the colors of my Awe armor using Valencia's Guardian armor CC interface.

During Bug: The first time I battled, the colors were fine (the CC seems only to work for the trim and cape, as I saw no change on the armor base)

After bug: After logging out and logging back in, I noticed my armor's colors were the same as before the CC (as shown on my character page)

Bug details: my spear of awe when i went to borrow a light blade of awe my spear of awe turned to light after i logged out

I'm not entirely sure that this is a bug, or is fixable, but...

Type of Bug: The bug is graphical is nature, but appears to be might be a flaw in the "message" function of the game engine

Bug details: The message informing the player about the Long Sword's scaling appears when switching armours with the weapon equipped, logging in, or after your equipment resets in a shop.
Before bug occurred: I logged in, reordered my shields to put Nova Knight in my inventory in place of Spell Blocker, and switched armours while the Long Sword was equipped. All of these triggered the message about the LS's scaling.

During Bug: The message telling the player about the LS's scaling appeared.
After bug: Game continued as normal-- bug appears to have no impact on gameplay, but is an annoyance at least.

Item Bugged: Long Sword-- probably all no-drops with this message, too?
Other Equipment: Toxic Chimeran Cavalier, Steel Plate, Golden Plate... I don't think the bug is in the other equipment.

When wearing the Anti-Guardian plate your shield does not show. So while i use Father time occasionally, others may use Eye of Naab, (i'm unsure of other shields which you click) you cannot activate its special ability. I don't use it a lot anymore but some may have a problem with it. :)


EDIT: Bug now fixed. VERY quickly, thank you staff! Although i think i will put Father Time into storage preeetty soon.

Type of bug: Shield of Awe doesn't apply resistances or combat defence in AntiGuardian plate.

Bug details: Like the two above posts I'm having shield trouble with the new AntiGuardian plate. I equipped Shield of Awe in AntiGuardian plate and it didn't apply either resistances or combat defenses. I tried equipping several other shields (Tsunami Shield, Reign Defender and Grim Totem) and they worked as normal.

Here's however something interesting: Shield of Awe is saved as my login shield, which means the resistances and defenses are applied at login. When I switched from Armor of Awe to AntiGuardian plate the resistances and combat defenses were applied since they were applied from login. The bug occurs when I re-equip the Shield of Awe.

EDIT: I discovered that if you change to another armor and equip Shield of Awe and then back to AnitGuardian you get resistances and combat defenses, what I mean is that this can be done at any time in any battle and not just after switching from login gear.

Before bug occurred: Well...everything has been normal, Shield of Awe have worked properly with every other armor, also after I bought AntiGuardian plate.

During Bug: Resistances and Combat defenses of Shield of Awe doesn't apply when it's re-equipped.

After bug: Equipping other shields works as normal

Has this bug been reported before? Unless providing new info please do not duplicate reports: Not to my recollection; I hadn't made the initiative to view others' posts prior to this one.

Type of bug (Game crash/blackscreen, glitch, graphical error, typo, etc.): Graphical error.

Bug details: The Armor of Awe seemingly reverts back to its previous colour upon logging out, despite changing it manually at Valencia.
Before bug occurred: I attempted to change the armour's trim in order to look more appealing.

During Bug: Upon having changed the armour's trim accordingly, it appears to remain, having once you log out, close your browser, or refresh, the armour's trim returns to its orginal colour - white.

After bug: N/A

Bug details: When replaying antiguardian quest, when you get to the point where you pick the UG you want from Yulgar and Adder, the game freezes. Also when you are in a battle with any armor, the UG shield doesn't even show up and doesn't give bonuses and if you try equipping the UG shield, the game freezes. Any other shield works fine, just not the UG shield.
Before bug occurred: Everything was normal. When I did the antiguardian quest for the first time, everything was fine. The UG shield showed and gave bonuses and everything. Then after the quest was over and I got the perm UG plate and shield, the bug occured.

During Bug: Cannot replay the Antiguardian quest, it always freezes at the point where you are receiving the UG from yulgar and adder. During any battle, the UG shield doesnt show up nor provide bonuses. When trying to equip the UG shield, the game freezes indefinitely

After bug: Nothing since the game freezes lol XD

Bug details: I don't have the Shield of Awe in my inventory yet.
Before bug occurred: Everything was working fine, I was in my fourth day of the Frogzard Challenge when the update went live. (2745, if you're curious.)

During Bug: I attempted a handful of times to make a permanent swap for it, but this didn't work likely because my new "no-drop" isn't the Guardian Shield. The Temporary swap worked just fine, and I got the full set bonus and everything when I had it. When I attempted to make the permanent switch even though it didn't work I still paid Z-Tokens for the "transaction".

Bug details: Cannot re-equip Awe Armor.

During Bug: I got the Ultimate Guardian Armor saved as a permanent armor on my character, and when I wanted to switch back to the Armor of Awe, the button that i originally clicked to get the Awe armor told me to go to Valencia, however talking to her just brought me back the the same screen as the previous one. The message I get from clicking the "Guardians: Armor of Awe" button is "You have already attuned your Armor of Awe, please see Valencia is Battleon for further changes."

After Bug: N/A

Clear Cache?: Unknown, I don't know how to do it so probably not.

Iīve bought the Beautiful Oblivion a few weeks ago.
I love it! Itīs strong and double elemented. All you have to do is to click the handle.
Thereīs only one thing:
As you said, when I'm wearing the obsidian cloak, the handle is off-screen, so I can't click the handle.

My suggestion was to use the red orb in the middle as an element changer button.
That part of the weapon isn't off-screen.

I hope this will happen, 'cause I really like the weapon!

Reported before?: Unknown, doesn't look like it.
Bug Type: Glitch
Details: If the Vigilante's Creed (and presumably, all the Nemesis armours, though I haven't tested this) is set to be the default armour on log in (through the Guardian Tower), then the Backlash status is not applied to the player. The status does not appear in the player status screen, and it does not apply when the player is hit. Changing armour in battle then changing back rectifies this and properly applies the status.

Item Bugged: Vigilante's Creed (and possibly other Nemesis Armours)
Other Equipment: Only tested with Blade of Awe, Shadowbones Shield, and Shield of Awe.

Okay, so I recently aquired the Mighty Armor of Awe. I looked at its stats, and, with the shield, I had 39% For all my elemental resistances, and my Melee defense was 65, and my other two, ranged and Magic, were 60 (After I took one hit in battle). Now, My armor appears to have been severely nerfed! The resistances are 62, and the defenses are 51, 47, 47! How did this happen?! If this was supposed to happen, please tell me, because I sold my other armors before this occured!

No changes have been made to the armor, perhaps you had the shield equipped and now don't ? There were also a couple of earlier bugs that could lead to the shield resistances being applied more than once which have been corrected.

I believed they nerfed it, because it's not a mastercraft. I'm sorry you sold all your armors and now only have that 1 left, I've had the same once. Don't worry, just farm a few quests and you'll be fine.
