jiggibidy -> Poetoria - Jiggibidy's Poetry (1/21/2009 15:12:05)

Welcome to Poetoria!
I hope you enjoy your stay!
Take a while to stop at the inn and hear some of the great tales of the town's mayor, Johnny!
He has travelled the world, gathering stories to share with the locals, to keep our spirits up.
Well, I have other matters to attend to, so I'll have to speak to you another time!
If you want to drop a note on what you think of them, the Comment Center is here!

Welcome and Goodbye

Well, I'm glad to see you join our ranks,
May your foes be struck down by cats and tanks,
They look around from side to side,
But they see there's no place to hide,
You raise the gun, aim for the heart,
Then for the hills they weave and dart,
They head for the sea, you whistle a note,
From the horizon, sails a boat,
Guns on the land and guns on the sea,
Teary-eyed, they utter one word, "Sorry".

This is a poem I wrote to welcome my friend to deviantART.
It's about him finally taking out all of the worries and problems in his life.
There is also a reference to tankcat, I'm sure you can spot it.

Kaie, I Stop

I sit there, silently,
Staring at a squirrel,
Sinner, kill it!
I sprint, snarling,
Straining at my shivering steel.

It's a dog-eat-dog destiny,
Not a dog means dog's dinner.

Kaie. I don't stop.

I turn at you, tearing,
You teeter and totter,
Then fall to the floor
On your face
As I feast on your flesh.

This is a poem that I thought of whilst taking my beloved dog for a walk.
He, for the most part, always listens to me when I tell him to stop.
But I imagined what would happen if he decided not to listen, and to turn against me.

Secrets

On this day I type,
My evil thought is ripe,
To doubt it is the seed,
I shall complete this evil deed.

My words are just a few,
But strong, so they shall do,
The seed, it has been sewn,
The bird shall meet the stone.

He doubts that it is true,
But I shall lead him through,
His heart is in my hand,
Now all has gone as planned.

I shall laugh when he shall weep,
This secret I shall keep,
With an ally at my side,
He will help this secret hide.

He questions, as is him,
His fire I shall dim,
I shall leave a mental scar,
Then it's time to raise the bar.

He has begun to change his thought,
Much havoc has been wrought,
The secret's lost it's sin,
It's time to let him in.

The seed, it had been sewn,
Into a fierce plant, it had grown,
But now it's time to reap,
The secret the plant keeps.

He says he always knew,
But I doubt that it is true,
For that tiny seed of doubt,
Once again, shall start to sprout.

This is written from the POV of one of my friends, who tried to trick me into believing he was going out with somebody I was madly in love with.

You Are the One

You are the one,
That can raise the mountains,
You are the one,
That can raise the seas,
You are the one,
That can make the world turn,
You are the one,
That fell in love with me.

I am the one,
That would climb your mountains,
I am the one,
That would swim your seas,
I am the one,
That would live on your world,
I am the one,
You fell in love with me.

We are the one,
That can walk your mountains,
We are the one,
That can sail your seas,
We are the one,
That can live on your world,
We were the one,
Then you abandoned me.

Now you are the one,
That makes tall your mountains,
Now you are the one,
That makes vast your seas,
Now you are the one,
ThaT can stop the worlds turn,
Now you are the one,
You abandoned me.

Now I am the one,
That falls off your mountains,
Now I am the one,
That drowns in your seas,
Now I am the one,
That's stuck in your worlds turn,
Now I am the one,
I thought that you loved me.

But I am the one,
That has Climbed your mountains,
But I am the one,
That has swum your seas,
But I am the one,
That survived in your world,
But I am the one,
That abandoned me.

Now I am the one,
Sat atop your mountain,
Now I am the one,
With a fleet in your sea,
Now I am the one,
That has conquered your world,
Now I am the one,
The best that I can be.

Now we are the ones,
Climbing our own mountains,
Now we are the ones,
Sailing our own seas,
Now we are the ones,
Living in our own worlds,
Now we are the ones,
Now we are free.

One of my longer poems, mostly due to the repetition.
I won't say what this is about, because I know I'll get carried away and get banned from the forums.

jiggibidy -> RE: Poetoria - Jiggibidy's Poetry (1/21/2009 15:39:48)

Sorrow's Shores

Hoist the main-sails,
Climb aboard,
Our ship of love,
What's mine is yours.

The wind blows strong,
We shan't need oars,
Just 30 days,
To sorrow's shores.

I take your hand,
I cup your chin,
And then you say,
"It's love we're in".

My face goes red,
I hold you tight,
But I don't see,
Sorrow's in sight.

Our time is up,
The anchor's dropped,
You now jump-ship,
Leave my life cropped.

I rue the day,
You joined my crew,
You called it love,
I called it too.

Now I walk,
The deck alone,
Your heart a snake,
And mine a stone.

This is another poem that I won't mention the theme of. (There'll be a lot of these.)
However, this poem also has a double meaning.
I won't mention too much, because it's a bit of a spoiler to my game.
But basically, you are on a ship, and the journey will take 30 days, and when you land, you must make a very tough decision.

jiggibidy -> RE: Poetoria - Jiggibidy's Poetry (1/21/2009 15:41:50)

The 30th Day

I gave my heart,
To you, my love,
You gave me yours,
You were my dove.

We went to town,
I held you tight,
I loved you so,
It just felt right.

You took me home,
I said "farewell",
But you just thought,
"See you in hell".

I spoke to you,
You showed no sign,
Of loving me,
It was the time.

You held my heart,
And cast it out,
The starving dogs,
Began their bout.

I said my piece,
It just flew past,
I kept your heart,
Of iron cast.

Apologies,
I doubt their true,
If they were so,
I'd still love you.

I'm now upset,
My heart, it aches,
You think it's hate,
As my heart breaks.

I walk the path,
To end my life,
My heart, the lamb,
Your words, the knife.

I told you'd there'd be a lot of poems that I won't mention the theme of.
Oh well, after about 20 or so, they'll start to thin out a bit.
I forgot the other comments I was going to make.

jiggibidy -> RE: Poetoria - Jiggibidy's Poetry (1/21/2009 15:43:15)

Boredom and Regret

I sit in my chair,
Bored out of my wits,
I still don't hate you,
I loved you to bits.

I'm watching my screen,
I'm starting to think,
Then I see your face,
It makes my heart sink.

It almost killed me,
When you gave your life,
To somebody else,
Now you are my knife.

You drove through my chest,
You aimed for the heart,
You leave a deep wound,
And then off you dart.

I looked in your eyes,
And I saw no love,
I thought you loved me,
Thought you were my dove.

I sit in your house,
I watch the match burn,
I think about you,
You make my gut turn.

I think I should stop,
It's gone much too far,
I know I did not,
Have to raise the bar.

My apologies,
If I have hurt you,
I only express,
That I'm feeling blue.

/Sigh.
I just realised how many of these I wrote...
Jeez...

jiggibidy -> RE: Poetoria - Jiggibidy's Poetry (1/21/2009 15:45:07)

Outward Expression

You said you loved me,
You lied!
And when you left me,
I died!
Although only,
Inside!
When you stabbed me,
I died!

You think I hate you,
I sighed!
I don't hate you,
I tried!

You said you'd be,
My bride!
You thought that was,
Implied!

You just threw me,
Aside!
Now I have to,
Hide!
To which you,
Replied!
"Now our firendship's
Denied!"

So I went for,
A ride!
My time I had to,
Bide!
When I saw it,
I cried!
But I had to,
Collide!

I hit the wall and,
I died!
Like I did when,
You lied!
But not only,
Inside!
Are you happy,
I died!
And it's because,
You lied!

I was trying out a new type of writing, to see how it turned out.
I'm not really a huge fan of it, but it's none too shabby.

jiggibidy -> RE: Poetoria - Jiggibidy's Poetry (1/21/2009 15:55:00)

Ignorance in Freedom

I am a bird,
I'm flying free,
On a journey,
Across the sea.

I swoop down low,
To catch my food,
I find a fish,
To feed my brood.

I see a ship,
It's sailing free,
A man of old,
His son of three.

They cast a rod,
To catch their food,
They find a fish,
To feed their brood.

I think a while,
Of what they do,
And then I see,
I do it too.

I cast my beak,
Upon my food,
I scoop it up,
To feed my brood.

Of all the things,
I wish to see,
The best thing is,
My family.

I watch the child,
He starts to cry,
His father looks,
And questions why.

The child speaks out,
And says in haste,
He misses his,
Mother's embrace.

The father sits,
Down with his child,
Tells him the truth,
And he goes wild.

His mother died,
Two years ago,
On holiday,
In Mexico.

The child cries out,
It can't be true,
His mother was,
His Mary-Sue.

But I, the bird,
Just fly on free,
Their woes are no,
Concern to me.

This is about how ignorant people can really be.
And this is taken from my deviantART, so I may have forgotten some of the fixes.

jiggibidy -> RE: Poetoria - Jiggibidy's Poetry (1/21/2009 15:56:54)

Iambic Love

I understand not everyone likes me,
But if you get to know me you shall see,
That I am actually a nice guy,
There's only one person I want to die.

This one person, they shall be known as J,
For if I told her name, what would she say?
My reasoning for this is rather clear,
She broke my heart in hopes to shed a tear.

When I first met her, I thought she was mean,
Her ulterior motives I'd not seen,
I found that she had actually cared,
For me, and I thought that my life was spared.

We spoke a while and then we fell in love,
I held her close to me, she was my dove,
I thought all of my woes were washed away,
I thought, by my side, she'd forever stay.

But eventually her care had worn,
Her love for someone else, it had been born,
You thought it better if I did not hear,
That you were leaving me from you, my dear.

I always held you close to me, sweet-heart,
You were my simply stunning work of art,
You were the only thing that kept me sane,
Now you're the only thing that brings me pain.

I wish you dead, I'm sorry but it's true,
It's the one way I can be free of you,
To see you dead would please me to no end,
Else our past love will drive me round the bend.

I wonder if I'm taking things too far,
I think that I should stop raising the bar,
To accept that you're gone is all I need,
To stop the flow of pain and plant a seed.

I hope the seed will grow into a tree,
Grow high so it can overlook the sea,
So I can sit there watching over you,
To make sure that you're safety will ensue.

My tree of love will always have a room,
To keep you safe from any doom and gloom,
I'd keep you safe with every part of me,
I only live to see that you're happy.

And if I were to find myself new love,
I'd never forget about you, my dove,
That's something that no-one shall ever be,
You'll always be my gorgeous dove to me.

You were my first love and I shan't forget,
All of the times when you began to fret,
You thought that you would lose me that's not true,
If you forget me, I won't forget you.

If you need my help in an hour of need,
Just call me and I shall do any deed,
If you needed it I'd swim all the seas,
I'l climb all the mountains, fell all the trees.

For you, there's no challenge that is too hard,
I'd be your eagle, even be your bard,
I'd take you anywhere, just name a place,
Your tomb, your crypt, or even deep in space.

Now that I think, why should I give a care,
I don't need you to love me, I'm a bear,
I tear down trees, I even rip up lambs,
Though I still hold your heart with loving hands.

Even though it freezes me to my core,
Even the thought of it can make me sore,
I wonder if my love will ever stop,
I see your heart start to melt, drop by drop.

A heart of flesh will grow from yours of ice,
I keep it close to me and feel the slice,
Of your barbs as you tear away from me,
And I stumble and fall into the sea.

Guided by voices I'll find my way,
From sorrow's shores to happiness' bay,
Through the dark streets of every memory,
I leave them behind me, now I can see.

My life has lots of happiness ahead,
My memories of you will soon be dead,
And once you're completely gone from my life,
I'll remove you for you shan't be my knife.

With you gone I will be able to breathe,
Instead of thoughts of you making me seethe,
I'll take a deep breath, then I'll start anew,
I'll look back at my past and bid adieu.

I'll board a ship and sail across the seas,
And fill my head with happy memories,
Of love and life and hapiness for free,
Instead of sadness, heart-break and pity.

I'll laugh at you as you stand on the shores,
Looking for a boat that has sails or oars,
If you were my dove, you could fly to me,
But you're now in my distant memory.

This is one of my longer poems.
It is also my first poem where I used 10-syllable Iambic Pentameter.
It's also another "Unknown Theme" poem!

jiggibidy -> RE: Poetoria - Jiggibidy's Poetry (1/26/2009 10:45:25)

Here is a collab I did with Ana_Maria.

Push It!

<Spanner_of_Poetry> "Push it, push it to the limit"
<Spanner_of_Poetry> is song I heard
<Spanner_of_Poetry> From a Disney movie
<Spanner_of_Poetry> or perhaps somewhere else
<Spanner_of_Poetry> .
<Spanner_of_Poetry> Jumping rope
<Spanner_of_Poetry> or writing prose
<Spanner_of_Poetry> ideas for poetry
<Spanner_of_Poetry> or simply a game
<Spanner_of_Poetry> .
<Jiggibidy> I've never liked Disney
<Jiggibidy> The shows nor the films
<Jiggibidy> my friends did though
<Jiggibidy> so I swallowed my pride
<Jiggibidy> .
<Jiggibidy> I sat through Toy Story
<Jiggibidy> and A Bug's Life too
<Jiggibidy> I'd rather just sit there
<Jiggibidy> and read a good book.
<Jiggibidy> .
<Spanner_of_Poetry> but Jiggy dear
<Spanner_of_Poetry> those are more
<Spanner_of_Poetry> animated type ones
<Spanner_of_Poetry> This is jump rope one
<Spanner_of_Poetry> with live peoples
<Spanner_of_Poetry> JUMP IN! was name
<Spanner_of_Poetry> and pushing to limit
<Spanner_of_Poetry> was the game
<Spanner_of_Poetry> .
<Spanner_of_Poetry> Boy did wrestle
<Spanner_of_Poetry> and double Dutch rope too
<Spanner_of_Poetry> Wanted to do Dad proud
<Spanner_of_Poetry> but Dad didnt understand
<Spanner_of_Poetry> though the girls needed him
<Spanner_of_Poetry> for Double Dutch
<Spanner_of_Poetry> .
<Jiggibidy> i tried my best
<Jiggibidy> to jump two ropes
<Jiggibidy> I ducked and dived
<Jiggibidy> I felt like a fool
<Jiggibidy> .
<Jiggibidy> But after a while
<Jiggibidy> I did it with ease
<Jiggibidy> I needed a challenge
<Jiggibidy> I needed a third rope!
<Jiggibidy> .
<Spanner_of_Poetry> Duck and dive
<Spanner_of_Poetry> backflips
<Spanner_of_Poetry> and jumping jacks
<Spanner_of_Poetry> Front flips
<Spanner_of_Poetry> and jumping on all fours
<Spanner_of_Poetry> Lots of tricks
<Spanner_of_Poetry> Lots of acrobatics
<Spanner_of_Poetry> .
<Spanner_of_Poetry> This double Dutch sport
<Spanner_of_Poetry> Neat music
<Spanner_of_Poetry> and awesome messages
<Spanner_of_Poetry> about being yourself
<Spanner_of_Poetry> and being true
<Spanner_of_Poetry> Doing what you
<Spanner_of_Poetry> need to do for you
<Spanner_of_Poetry> .
<Jiggibidy> My ego inflates
<Jiggibidy> I push even more
<Jiggibidy> On trampolines
<Jiggibidy> on tightropes
<Jiggibidy> blindfolds
<Jiggibidy> tied up
<Jiggibidy> .
<Jiggibidy> I conquered them all
<Jiggibidy> they stood no chance
<Jiggibidy> I had to cool down
<Jiggibidy> see the reality
<Jiggibidy> .
<Jiggibidy> I'm still just a boy
<Jiggibidy> nothing extraodrinary
<Jiggibidy> tipping the scales
<Jiggibidy> chasing the tails
<Jiggibidy> my name made in jump rope
<Jiggibidy> .
<Spanner_of_Poetry> competition was tight
<Spanner_of_Poetry> girls all around
<Spanner_of_Poetry> Dutch Dragons
<Spanner_of_Poetry> the team to beat
<Spanner_of_Poetry> competition was tight
<Spanner_of_Poetry> girls all around
<Spanner_of_Poetry> Dutch Dragons
<Spanner_of_Poetry> the team to beat
<Spanner_of_Poetry> in this sport
<Spanner_of_Poetry> with lots of gymnastics
<Spanner_of_Poetry> that takes a lot of endurance
<Spanner_of_Poetry> .
<Spanner_of_Poetry> Kinda like training
<Spanner_of_Poetry> for boxing
<Spanner_of_Poetry> or for wrestling
<Spanner_of_Poetry> quite intense
<Spanner_of_Poetry> neighbors they were
<Spanner_of_Poetry> this boy and her
<Spanner_of_Poetry> his partner on team
<Spanner_of_Poetry> .
<Jiggibidy> I took to the stage
<Jiggibidy> and started the song
<Jiggibidy> "Through the fire and flames
<Jiggibidy> We carry on!"
<Jiggibidy> .
<Jiggibidy> I slew the dragons
<Jiggibidy> they stood there
<Jiggibidy> open mouthed
<Jiggibidy> defeated
<Jiggibidy> I crushed them
<Jiggibidy> along with their pride
<Jiggibidy> They fell to my feet
<Jiggibidy> and I'd do it again
<Jiggibidy> .
<Spanner_of_Poetry> Jump in Jump In
<Spanner_of_Poetry> the name of the film
<Spanner_of_Poetry> the call of action
<Spanner_of_Poetry> as we jumped, jumped again
<Spanner_of_Poetry> In and out of the ropes
<Spanner_of_Poetry> we weaved
<Spanner_of_Poetry> doing tricks, no one'd seen
<Spanner_of_Poetry> Pushing to the limit
<Spanner_of_Poetry> and pulling ahead

This was an improv that Ana_Maria wrote with me to help my writers block.

jiggibidy -> RE: Poetoria - Jiggibidy's Poetry (1/26/2009 10:51:50)

Another collab!
With Ana_Maria again!

Express It!

<Spanner_of_Poetry> I cant RP
<Spanner_of_Poetry> or write much to save my life
<Spanner_of_Poetry> but my poetry is a horse
<Spanner_of_Poetry> of a different color
<Spanner_of_Poetry> .
<Spanner_of_Poetry> I seem to be inspired
<Spanner_of_Poetry> by the simplest of things
<Spanner_of_Poetry> A song, a word
<Spanner_of_Poetry> a phrase or a verbalized wish
<Spanner_of_Poetry> .
<Jiggibidy> Even the most innane things
<Jiggibidy> like a curtain rustling in a breeze
<Jiggibidy> or a cat sleeping in the sun
<Jiggibidy> can open the doors to a poem
<Jiggibidy> .
<Spanner_of_Poetry> a simple thing I am sure
<Spanner_of_Poetry> least to some
<Spanner_of_Poetry> if they just write
<Spanner_of_Poetry> and not think
<Spanner_of_Poetry> not think /too/ much
<Spanner_of_Poetry> Let it flow from the heart
<Spanner_of_Poetry> not so much from the mind
<Spanner_of_Poetry> .
<Jiggibidy> The mind is over-rated
<Jiggibidy> heart is where the home is
<Jiggibidy> if it starts in your heart
<Jiggibidy> it should end in the heart
<Jiggibidy> .
<Spanner_of_Poetry> let it roam
<Spanner_of_Poetry> let it feel right at home
<Spanner_of_Poetry> express that art
<Spanner_of_Poetry> as it courses through you
<Spanner_of_Poetry> express it now, show colors true
<Spanner_of_Poetry> a piece of one
<Spanner_of_Poetry> expressed in this rhyme for fun
<Spanner_of_Poetry> .
<Jiggibidy> Be it through the brush
<Jiggibidy> through the pen
<Jiggibidy> through the keyboard
<Jiggibidy> or through the instrument
<Jiggibidy> .
<Jiggibidy> When the flood gates open
<Jiggibidy> don't stop the flow
<Jiggibidy> let it consume you
<Jiggibidy> until the last drop falls
<Jiggibidy> .
<Spanner_of_Poetry> open up, let it go
<Spanner_of_Poetry> destress and dont digress
<Spanner_of_Poetry> dropping burden down
<Spanner_of_Poetry> be it in journal
<Spanner_of_Poetry> or online site you found
<Spanner_of_Poetry> perhaps once in verse
<Spanner_of_Poetry> you realize life could have been worse
<Spanner_of_Poetry> .
<Jiggibidy> you don't need to write
<Jiggibidy> nor to play, or to sing
<Jiggibidy> if you have an affair
<Jiggibidy> that's not yet in order
<Jiggibidy> let your inspiration
<Jiggibidy> be the driving force
<Jiggibidy> to achieve your goal
<Jiggibidy> .
<Jiggibidy> If you need to tell someone
<Jiggibidy> how you really feel
<Jiggibidy> then tell them
<Jiggibidy> if they feel the same
<Jiggibidy> then your inspiration
<Jiggibidy> has still led you
<Jiggibidy> to happiness
<Jiggibidy> .
<Spanner_of_Poetry> this verse
<Spanner_of_Poetry> this tool
<Spanner_of_Poetry> to express what cannot
<Spanner_of_Poetry> be expressed by any other means
<Spanner_of_Poetry> let the inspiration be your guide
<Spanner_of_Poetry> as you follow your muse, whereever it may hide
<Spanner_of_Poetry> .
<Jiggibidy> let yourself explode
<Jiggibidy> if the inspiration
<Jiggibidy> builds up too much
<Jiggibidy> because if you can't handle it
<Jiggibidy> maybe someone else can
<Jiggibidy> and you'd lead somebody else
<Jiggibidy> to happiness
<Jiggibidy> and sometimes
<Jiggibidy> that's all you can do
<Jiggibidy> .
<Jiggibidy> you just have to swallow your pride
<Jiggibidy> put yourself aside
<Jiggibidy> put the spotlight
<Jiggibidy> on someone else for a change
<Jiggibidy> for humanity is vain
<Jiggibidy> greedy and selfish
<Jiggibidy> and if you can give somebody else
<Jiggibidy> your limelight
<Jiggibidy> then you're a great man
<Jiggibidy> .
<Spanner_of_Poetry> Perhaps someone will read
<Spanner_of_Poetry> perhaps your musings
<Spanner_of_Poetry> will make their day
<Spanner_of_Poetry> Heal their pain
<Spanner_of_Poetry> and help clear their rain
<Spanner_of_Poetry> Perhaps shine a light
<Spanner_of_Poetry> into their night
<Spanner_of_Poetry> .
<Spanner_of_Poetry> or into your soul
<Spanner_of_Poetry> share a piece of self
<Spanner_of_Poetry> for people to know
<Spanner_of_Poetry> provide an inner view
<Spanner_of_Poetry> letting in a glimpse
<Spanner_of_Poetry> of the /real/ you
<Spanner_of_Poetry> .
<Jiggibidy> Let yourself laugh
<Jiggibidy> let yourself cry
<Jiggibidy> let yourself sink
<Jiggibidy> let yourself fly
<Jiggibidy> follow your dreams
<Jiggibidy> wherever they go
<Jiggibidy> cross the seas
<Jiggibidy> climb the hills
<Jiggibidy> walk away
<Jiggibidy> drop the pills
<Jiggibidy> .
<Jiggibidy> there's always a way
<Jiggibidy> to make someone's day
<Jiggibidy> Just open the gates
<Jiggibidy> and sail away
<Jiggibidy> .
<Spanner_of_Poetry> a laugh
<Spanner_of_Poetry> a smile
<Spanner_of_Poetry> a shared walk
<Spanner_of_Poetry> around the park
<Spanner_of_Poetry> Perhaps a tale
<Spanner_of_Poetry> or a poet's note
<Spanner_of_Poetry> a way to save
<Spanner_of_Poetry> a moment in time
<Spanner_of_Poetry> .
<Jiggibidy> for if you miss
<Jiggibidy> the small chances
<Jiggibidy> to express yourself
<Jiggibidy> you may miss
<Jiggibidy> the opportunity
<Jiggibidy> of a lifetime

This was just a spur of the moment one.
I'm quite enjoying improv poetry.
But I still prefer my "Romantic" poetry.
I just can't help but love my rhyme and rhythm.

jiggibidy -> RE: Poetoria - Jiggibidy's Poetry (1/26/2009 11:48:11)

I wrote an acrostic!
Skoob asked me to write one to show that's not too hard.

Beat her poetry?
You can't.

Had My Chance

I don't know how to feel,
I'm so confused,
You act like I'm toxic,
Yet I'm intoxicated,
I don't know what it is,
There's just something,
And it drives me wild,
You are my drug.

I wish I could go back,
To a happier time,
Before I stared Death,
In the eye, and held her,
In a loving embrace,
I wish I could go back,
And remake the decision,
That caused my incision.

I remember the times,
You winked at me,
And blew kisses,
I revelled in them,
Every time I saw you,
Licking your upper lip,
You crippled me,
And I loved it.

Now the flame has died,
Blown out by the wind,
The still wind from a time,
When I stared Death,
In the eye and held her,
In a loving embrace,
Before the wound was made,
For it shall never heal.

Giving Up

I love you, but,
You don't love me,
You pass me by,
Eyes filled with glee.

To make you smile,
That is my life,
To cure your woes,
That is my strife.

I rush to help,
When you're in pain,
You don't care, it,
Drives me insane!

I've given up,
This thing called love,
I hate it now,
I need no dove.

Path to Inspiration

Inspiration,
It's taking me places,
I've never been to before.

I check the map,
Look at the first stop,
A place called "Happiness".

I'm quite intrigued,
I've heard of this place,
But never got around to visiting it.

I step ashore,
I feel funny, not ill, just strange,
Like a veil has been lifted.

I walk on a bit,
Find a tree, see an apple, take an apple,
It tastes so sweet as I bite into it.

I finish the apple,
Hop back on board, sail away,
To a place called "Love".

I'm greeted at the dock,
By a beautiful woman, stunning, radiant,
She takes my arm and walks me away.

We arrive at a house,
We step inside, we start to kiss,
No apple could be this sweet.

I wake up next to her,
I stroke her hair, it feels so soft,
I think I'll stay here for good.

Yay!
A happpy poem!

Yearning for You

I sit here, thinking,
Yearning, wanting you,
Here by my side, I,
Can't live without you,
You're the one thing that,
Keeps me sane in this,
Horrible excuse,
For an existance.
If I'm not with you,
I just want to cry,
A life without you,
Is not a life worth,
Living. If I were,
To lose you, I would,
Go insane for sure.

Breakdown

You said !"It's over."
I couldn't take it,
My heart exploded,
Into thousands of,
Love letters, which you,
Used to hold dear, but,
Now you sit there, next,
To the open fire, a,
Tear running down the,
Side of your face as,
You burn the remnants,
Of what was once a,
A great thing. I see,
You sometimes, and you,
Pretend I'm not there.

Mountain-Top Romance

Two eagles flying,
In harmony, high,
Above the mountain,
Tops, where the cold air,
Could freeze you in an,
Instant. The eagles,
Perch atop the edge,
Of a cliff, and lean,
In to snuggle up,
With each other, and,
Brace themselves from the,
Cold. Despite people,
Saying that eagles,
Are merely birds, they,
Can fall in love too.

Mother Bear

Mother Bear will fight,
To the bitter end,
To protect her young.
If a hunter tries,
To aim a scope at,
One of her cubs, she,
Will tear down trees, take,
Out anything to,
Reach the hunter and,
Crush him into the,
Ground. A mother bear,
Can deter any,
Hunter from hunting,
In her woods, maybe,
Another forest.

Patronising

I live under the,
Thumb of those who have,
The power to take from,
Me, my voice. I thought,
I would never lose,
My voice, I thought that,
I was polite, that,
People like me, but,
Apparently not.
Now I can't speak, not,
Until my time-out,
Has been long enough.
I feel like a child,
And I hate being,
Patronised so much.

If You'd've Said

You claim that you're just,
A walking manual,
Because of all the,
Questions I asked.
You knew that I could,
Use /HELPOP, but you,
Never told me of,
It until it was,
Too late, I'd pushed you,
Over the edge, and you,
Flipped. Perhaps if,
You had told me that,
I could use /HELPOP,
I wouldn't have pushed,
And you wouldn't hate me.

No Common Sense

Common sense is not,
My greatest asset,
I run across roads,
Do reckless things,
Push my body to,
It's limits. Sometimes,
Pushing my body,
Is not enough, I,
Must push something else,
So I push others,
Which I know is just,
Stupid. I don't think,
Before I do, I just,
Do. I'm reckless, it's,
Merely who I am.

Life of a 'Hog

Running down the same
Path I always take
Every day. I need
To try something new,
Perhaps try taking
Life at a walking
Pace for once, stop and
Smell the roses, take
Time to notice the
Good things that pass you
By. I could try and
Get a job, earn some
Real money instead
Of picking up rings
Dotted around the
Level. Rings are worth
Quite a lot, and I
Do save the world in
The process, but I
Feel like I'm missing
The important things
In life. Perhaps I
Should hang up my shoes,
Trade in my rings, and
Settle down for once.

Why Do I Hate You?

Why do I hate you?
All you did to me
Was love me, Cherish
Me, hold me close to
Your heart, yet I can't
Help but gag when I
See you signing in.
I used to love you
Too, but times change, and
The time had come for
You to discard me
In exchange for the
Latest model, and
You just let me sit
Here, rusting away.
