My poems. The two links below are other poets whose poetry and mine fit together well, IMO. :) Spreading the word about these two and vice versa C+C Threaddie :) Artist He sat alone. The roses cried As he sat alone. The cold embraced Him As he sat alone. The roses cried As he walked alone. Death welcomed Him walking Alone. Roses When she cried Roses fell When she laughed Roses fell When she smiled Roses fell When she died White roses fell. Child I am lost in Blue, Tossed on the Boundless Sea Of his deep, bright eyes. Son of Death He rides The tide of Death To his father's side He cried to his father "Feed me, feed me!" He consumed innocents' souls And smiled As the blood ran down his face. Vampire Love is a bloody rose, Love is a dead bird, Love is nonexistant We delude ourselves To the fact We need people... To feed. Death Death is unbeing Death is unliving Death is a release From the drudgery of life's dull mirror, Reflections of unbeing, unliving. In the Mirror In the mirror In the mirror I am an angel, In the mirror I am a demon, In the mirror I am anyone, Except me. Unborn There is a dark place A dark place, A warm place We want for nothing In that perfect world In the Darkness of the Light. My Heart All my love is death, My kisses hoarfrost My heart is ice I am life-in-death And death-in-life I am. Death's Queen, Death's Slave My soul is shattered And I am scattered Across Death's boundless realm I gasp to life and feel a tug I will never be whole Death's caress, Death's kiss Have stolen my heart I have left my dwelling And can return no more. He has taken my heart, my soul, my mind, I can never be whole Until I die and am crowned with bones His Queen, his slave It matters not to me My heart and I are reunited And we are whole. Death's caress, Death's kiss will never steal My heart again. Flirt/My Suicide I was surrounded by black The pull of the Styx soothed me I was in control; I flirted with Death My head broke the surface And I sucked In rotting air. I had felt Death's chilly hand before This I now sought. How many times Can I cheat Death? Every drop of blood, every breath Every dive.... My time is limited I am a marked woman. One day, Death will catch me And hold me tight. So I flirt and hope Falling through rotting air Into the cradle The dive felt different, wrong Raven had left I was alone. No-one could see me scream The bubbles cheated me of life And Death caught me and held me tight. The Turning Before: I remember playing football with my brother I remember discussing boys with Anna I remember his touch.... All gone. In one hour, my life was gone An agony on my throat A salty flow of life in my mouth Another agony After: Clearer, sharper, The scent My unwanted beauty My eyes My teeth And the urge to feed. I was powerful I was immortal I was everything I ever wanted to be And yet I had lost everything. Single Grey Flower A single grey flower drooped by my bedside, Withered, pathetic, lifeless. Grey Like my life A petal dropped from the flower And rotted in my hand It was too much to take. With a heavy heart, I asked the nurse to shoot me up once more Everything went fuzzy ........ I came to The single grey flower Was gone, replaced by a single red rose. The clouds had scrolled back Allowing me to view the watery Sun My heartmate appeared With a ring in his hand For the first time, I felt hope.
