Sample Builds Hey all, you're all wondering how builds work, so here's a thread that'll probably help you choose YOUR build, along with a few samples to help you get started Table of Contents 1 | Know Your Stats 2 | Choosing Your Stats 3 | Sample Builds 4 | Contacts Know Your Stats Stats are a major factor in the game, able to choose life or death for you as you organize them effectively or ineffectively. Here is a breakdown of the Stats, as they are seen: Primary Stats These Stats affect you directly, and come in the form of Damage Output Strength - STR* Increases Melee Damage Does NOT increase chance to defend against Melee Attacks Intellect - INT* Increases Magic Damage Does NOT increase chance to defend against Magic Attacks Dexterity - DEX* Increases Pierce Damage Does NOT increase chance to defend against Pierce Attacks Secondary Stats These Stats affect you directly and indirectly Charisma - CHA Increases Pet Damaging Increases chance for Baby Special Attack Stat Rolls Luck - LUK Increases chance for Critical Damage Increases chance to Dodge Stat Rolls Other effects we have yet to see Duration Stats These Stats affect you directly, in terms of how long you last Endurance - END** Increases how much Health you have Wisdom - WIS*** Increases how much Mana you have * These stats follow these formulae, differing based on how many points you have:Stat Points 50 and Under -- ROUND(Stat/5)
Stat Points 150 and Under - ROUND(10+0.1*(Stat-50))
Stat Points 151 and Over -- ROUND(20+.075*(Stat-150)) ** Endurance adds an additional 5 Health per point *** Wisdom adds an additional 10 Mana per point Choosing Your Stats Choosing your correct Stats is essential. Choosing the wrong Stats may end up breaking you more than helping you. A simple guide to remember, showing what is at the very least compatible with your characters SUPER BIG NOTE: These are only important as GUIDELINES for what Stats you should choose. This does not mean you have to become a Hybrid, and that using only ONE Weapon type is acceptable SUPER BIG NOTE #2: Please note, the below are RECOMMENDED STATS, but furthermore, you DON'T have to Hybridize for maximum potential. A Warrior does NOT have to use Dexterity or Intellect, and can just focus on Strength and another Stat if they so choose. DON'T forget to read the *'s: Warrior-Based Characters*** STR DEX* END** WIS** Mage-Based Characters*** INT DEX* END** WIS** Rogue-Based Characters*** DEX STR* END** WIS** THIS symbolizes at the very least what you should have for a basic Character. There will be exceptions, of course, but for now, you should focus on this * These are your Primary and your Secondary, after your first Primary is filled. These are all interchangeable, but you might find that for a Class you seek, any of STR, INT, DEX, CHA, or LUK will go here. For examples, Warriors in DragonLord Class Armour will want to have INT to boost their Magic, and Magi as their Base Class might want to use Daggers, of which also cast their spells ** You will only need a handful of these. There is an exception, however, of which discussed below, but keep in mind that while having 1000 Health might overshadow 25 extra Damage, it's not going to be useful unless you're playing in Hard Mode *** ONE more thing, if you're starting out a newer Character, you shouldn't have to be worrying about 3-4 different Stats yet. This is the order you should be proceeding in, remember that you should/can choose between 1-3 Secondary Choices: Primary Choices - (150 - 200 Points) - Strength
   - Intellect
   - Dexterity
        Secondary Choices - (40 - 145 Points) - Strength****
   - Intellect****
   - Dexterity****
   - Charisma
   - Luck
   - Endurance
   - Wisdom
**** When choosing one of these, keep in mind it is NOT the same as the Primary Choice you made Sample Builds Here are some sample builds to get you started. Just a reminder, you are FREE to rearrange the points if these don't match your expectations EXACTLY. We will be showing level 20 and 60 builds for the first few to show a start-finish build, but level 60 for the last few. The level 20 should generally be the same. Again, mind the *s: Standard Level Twenty Base-Class Build Strength: 75 (Warrior, otherwise 0)* Intellect: 75 (Mage, otherwise 0)* Dexterity: 75 (Rogue, otherwise 0)* Endurance: 0 Charisma: 0* Luck: 0* Wisdom: 20 Standard Level Sixty Base-Class Build Strength: 175 (Warrior, otherwise 0)* Intellect: 175 (Mage, otherwise 0)* Dexterity: 175 (Rogue, otherwise 0)* Endurance: 25 Charisma: 0* Luck: 0* Wisdom: 35 Note: This is the most basic of builds, used as a way to get some power into your Base Classes Standard Level Twenty Annihilator Build Strength: 80 (Warrior, otherwise 0) Intellect: 80 (Mage, otherwise 0) Dexterity: 80 (Rogue, otherwise 0) Endurance: 0 Charisma: 0 Luck: 0* Wisdom: 15 Standard Level Sixty Annihilator Build Strength: 175, 200 (Warrior, otherwise 0)** Intellect: 175, 200 (Mage, otherwise 0)** Dexterity: 175, 200 (Rogue, otherwise 0)** Endurance: 0 Charisma: 0 Luck: 60, 85** Wisdom: 35 Note: Effective in drawing out more power from your Character Standard Level Twenty Hybrid Build****** Strength: 75 (Warrior, otherwise 0)**** Intellect: 75 (Mage, otherwise 0)**** Dexterity: 75 (Rogue, otherwise 0)**** Endurance: 0 Charisma: 0 Luck: 0 Wisdom: 20 Standard Level Sixty Hybrid Build****** Strength: 150, 200 (Warrior, otherwise 0)** and *** Intellect: 150, 200 (Mage, otherwise 0)** and *** Dexterity: 150, 200 (Rogue, otherwise 0)** and *** Endurance: 0 Charisma: 0 Luck: 0 Wisdom: 40 Note: Effective in multi-tasking, in a sense Standard Level Twenty Defensive Build Strength: 65 (Warrior, otherwise 0) Intellect: 65 (Mage, otherwise 0) Dexterity: 65 (Rogue, otherwise 0) Endurance: 0 Charisma: 0 Luck: 0 Wisdom: 30 Standard Level Sixty Defensive Build Strength: 100 (Warrior, otherwise 0) Intellect: 100 (Mage, otherwise 0) Dexterity: 100 (Rogue, otherwise 0) Endurance: 50 Charisma: 0 Luck: 115 Wisdom: 30 Note: A defensive, safe build. This makes Dodging a bit easier, and you last a little longer. For those wanting to play it safe Standard Level Twenty Tank Build******* Strength: 50 (Warrior, otherwise 0) Intellect: 50 (Mage, otherwise 0) Dexterity: 50 (Rogue, otherwise 0) Endurance: 25 Charisma: 0 Luck: 0 Wisdom: 20 Standard Level Sixty Tank Build Strength: 100 (Warrior, otherwise 0) Intellect: 100 (Mage, otherwise 0) Dexterity: 100 (Rogue, otherwise 0) Endurance: 140 Charisma: 0 Luck: 0 Wisdom: 55 Note: A build for those wanting to last a long time in longer quests Standard Level Sixty DragonLord Build Strength: 175, 200 (Warrior, otherwise 0)** Intellect: 175, 200 (Mage, otherwise 0)** Dexterity: 175, 200 (Rogue, otherwise 0)** Endurance: 0 Charisma: 45, 70** Luck: 0 Wisdom: 50 Standard Level Sixty DeathKnight Build Strength: 45 (Warrior, otherwise 0) Intellect: 45 (Mage, otherwise 0) Dexterity: 45 (Rogue, otherwise 0) Endurance: 200 Charisma: 0 Luck: 0 Wisdom: 50 Note: Very effective for DeathKnight. Draws out their potential for certain skill combinations Standard Level Sixty Kathool Adept Build***** Strength: 175, 200 (Warrior, otherwise 0)** Intellect: 175, 200 (Mage, otherwise 0)** Dexterity: 175, 200 (Rogue, otherwise 0)** Endurance: 0 Charisma: 0 Luck: 60, 85** Wisdom: 35 * For level 20 Builds, it means you're supposed to think about which of these to choose for the near future. For level 60 Builds, the 'near future' is now ** This means that if there's two numbers, either is acceptable *** Hybridical build, meaning you choose another Primary Stat to put the remainder of your points in. It should be based on the secondary Attack Type in your Class choice **** For level 20 Builds, feasible to make 40, 35 between your Primary and Second Primary Stats as opposed to 75, 0 as suggested ***** Yes, this is the same as Annihilator :P ****** Also a feasible DragonLord Build ******* Feel free to also put END into WIS, or into your Primary
